As per things Windel and I discussed yesterday, here's an actual third OC of mine. Aika (in the event that anybody even saw her yesterday) was nice, and would be fun to play in many RPs, but this one isn't among them. Instead, we got a pseudo-shark.

Also because Lucius brought us something cool in the form of the Sweepers and I didn't want him to be the only one responsible for them :P

Appearance (Real Life):

Name: Shou Izumi

Age: 14

History: Funny story, Shou's birth certificate actually says she's a boy. The doctor dropped his glasses during the delivery and didn't notice until the papers were already filed, so her parents wound up giving her a name typically meant for boys. Of course, they found out soon after that the doctor goofed up, and were compensated by the hospital for the problems this would later cause. Like at school and such.

Every time Shou's birth certificate was displayed to register her somewhere, they always asked the same question. "Isn't she a girl, though?" Then Mr. and Mrs. Izumi would have to explain just what happened at the hospital. Despite all this though, her life was fairly normal. And then she came to Purple Crown, and logged into Deep Ground for the first time. How awesome!

Here, she could let loose and do whatever she wanted. She could fight, and even kill if she wanted. She was encouraged to kill, even! During her first year at Purple Crown, Shou became very used to her alternate identity as the predatory Hungry Jaws. So into it, in fact, that she made pretty good headway last year in battle.

Last year alone, she reached level 5, obtained a shiny win/loss record of 18/3, and joined up with the Sweepers as a means of joining a guild without actually joining a guild. A real predator hunts solo, after all. And now the primal predator is back for another school year, and by extention, another year of the hunt.

Personality: Shou likes animals that like people. That is, she likes animals that like eating people. For whatever reason, Shou has an boundless fascination with the things in nature that can and will kill people. Predatory animals, natural disasters, pandemics, and so forth. It's not that she enjoys people dying...or maybe she does. Who knows?

Seeing others suffering makes her happy. She's not a sadist by any means, but she simply enjoys the notion that somebody will experience pain and/or misery from what happens to them. Like in a car crash, or an armed robbery. Because she enjoys these things happening to others so much, Shou will often set others up for her own enjoyment, aligning events in real life so that something terrible will happen to them. Outside of Deep Ground, Shou is an emotional predator, feeding off everyone's misery.

Online is an entire different story. Then she becomes an actual predator, feeding off...do you really wanna know? The fact that she loves to kill others in-game, added with her love of seeing them suffer offline, can point to the conclusion that she may be a dangerous person. If so, she's yet to show any signs of it. Unless you mistake her for a boy. Shou gets very serious about her gender, and calling her a boy will make the fists and teeth start flying. Did we mention that she also likes biting things? Yeah...

Vicious Strikes: Melee damage increased by 20%

Grim Stride: Support skill that doubles your movement and attack speed. Lasts 10 seconds, with a two-minute cooldown.

Skills

Predator: Passive ability. Jaws cannot equip weapons like everybody else, instead being constantly armed with sharp fangs and claws (on both her hands and feet) as a predator would. These are every bit as effective as normal weapons.

Fish Tail: A melee-range attack wherein Jaws does a spinning jump kick. Damages everybody within her reach by using her toe claws as weapons. 10-second cooldown.

Double Wave: A two-hit combo attack in which Jaws first claws her enemy from head to knee, then quickly performs a backflip kick. Knocks the enemy down if both hits connect. 30-second cooldown.

Primal Instinct: Support skill wherein Jaws taps into her bestial nature. For ten seconds, enemy attacks appear much slower to her, making it much easier to dodge or counter. 60-second cooldown.

Steel Stomach: Passive ability. Jaws is capable of consuming and digesting anything (even things one should NEVER ingest), restoring health in the process.

Oh? Someone actually interested in my Sweeper concept? Now I feel like I should elaborate more on who the sweepers are. Guess I will when I'm not typing on my phone.

So a bit on the Sweepers for those who are actually interested in being a part of them:

The Sweepers are an anonymous "Force" of Defenders of Justice and Vigilante. They have no loyalty to guild nor kings as a whole, meaning that anyone could potentially be targeted by the Sweepers. What makes them different from other nameless hordes is whom they hunt: True Sweepers only hunt down those have have been branded as Outlaws, players who prey on the weak and defenseless. Typically this means low levels under level 5 or so, but just about anyone can be a victim depending on the circumstances. And it's the Sweeper's duty to go out and protect those players as well as punish the Outlaws.

Of course, things aren't always so easy. While their free-roaming nature means that anyone can take up the cause of the Sweepers, it is for that same reason that many people can use the name of the Sweepers for evil purposes. Being a Sweeper is an ideal and not held in any actual code or law, so while anyone can take up the cause of a Sweeper, just about anyone can abuse it. Generally those who do not fill the idealized image of a Sweeper is not truly a Sweeper, and thus you are judged by your actions, not by your words. Hence why the Sweepers never organized.

Than again, the Sweepers as most know them is really just a cover, one that the original creator would at least sometimes play the part of. The creator of the Sweepers is Restu Goroshi, Dark Wraith, though she does not play the role of a leader or even takes responsibility as the propagator. She does, however, serve a role with the Sweeper that has some structure: The Erasers. Whereas Sweepers are just anyone willing to fight for justice, Erasers are less pleasant. Erasers are hackers within the Sweepers who are tasked to assign and find Outlaws, but in and out of the game. Erasers play a dark part of justice who "execute" particularly annoying Outlaws. The Erasers are often in league with one another, but again, they have no leader to answer to and often operate with their own agenda. What makes a person an Eraser is the ability to manipulate the system of Deep Ground, and the interest in condemning players to constant harassment of the Sweepers and the eventual removal from Deep Ground.

Some Sweepers may know of the existence of the Erasers (Such as Donny) and they are often the hitmen Erasers would call upon to eliminate players in real life. Rarely would an Eraser actually dirty their own hands eliminating Outlaws in real life due to the importance of their skills. They will however assist however they can to ensure their Sweepers get the job done.

History: There is a wide road packed from end to end by people, and initially they all walk in a line side-by-side, covering every expanse of its width. They walk with equal pacing, until someone loses their footing, or another steps too fast for the pattern. The line becomes disjointed, an incoherent wave of bodies spread along the road, each running at a different pace. As those faster individuals take the forefront, their success inspires others to pick up their pace. Asymmetric walls form around them, barring entry to those who can only keep pace. To gain audience with the fastest, one had to break past this pace-keeping wall and push through... by temporarily possessing more speed than even the person at the front.

Hisoka had once attempted this, and realized all too well that while her shoes were expensive and her stomach well-fed, nothing of her upbringing mattered in a place of true equality. A characteristic of the world she was not well accustomed to. The Kurosawa families first-born child, Hisoka, was labeled the next of kin to maintain their establishment and its wealth. Normally one would already have a leg up in this case, being so "honorable" and notable... but in the virtual world of Deep Ground, her past meant little. All started from the ground up, annihilating her means to begin from a tall place and continue to greater heights before others could even reach her initial position. She found herself overshadowed by more dedicated individuals who put their best foot forward and used it to walk, instead of expecting someone to praise it in immobility.

She was, however, not one to dawdle and cry. Hisoka quickly allowed her mindset to acclimate to this new simulated reality. Instead of relying on pure drive alone, she drew upon the sense of obligation and responsibility to her family, taking up arms within this game as someone who could stand to lose much more than anyone else. Where others pushed themselves to gain, Hisoka pushed herself to retain, not for herself, but for others relying upon her.

But mere success alone was not sufficient to her. Glaucon once said that it is the greatest despair to be a just man, but be considered unjust by his peers; such an individual would have forgone the benefits of being unjust and committing crime, but all the same punished for something he did not do. So to then, Hisoka believes, that the greatest failure is to have garnered success, but never be recognized for it. To her mere achievement is nothing unless she can prove to the world it had been accomplished.

And so she seeks such a recognition in the eyes of countless, an end she vows to attain be it by virtual or by reality...

Personality: Hisoka's personality is a subdued representation of what it truly is; fiery, driven, and unbending. On the outside it appears as solemnity and a quiet, polite voice, but make no mistake, there is a severity to her words only the most confident of individuals can express. She is not above whimsical activity, though seemingly does so, once again, with a toned-down energy level. Her almost cold exterior seems more like an impossibly slowly-melting ablative heat shield barely managing to contain an inferno of within. It suffices to say that she often appears on the edge of a breaking point, maintaining an air of composure seeming more like masked pity and disgust.

• Oracle - A support-passive aspect of Aeon Crane's attacks, Oracle inflicts stricken enemies with the Fate debuff, which causes the next 3 strikes from any enemy of the afflicted to deal 2x damage to them. Once hit by 3 strikes (the same ally/player cannot activate this debuff on an enemy twice), the debuff is removed (or after 30 seconds), and Aeon Crane cannot inflict that same enemy with it for another minute.


• Time Conflux - Time Conflux is a defensive move that automatically reverses the effects and damage of a single strike, replacing the otherwise harmful event with Aeon Crane miraculously defending against the attack with a block. Three minute cooldown.


• Chronostrike - Upon activation, Aeon Crane unleashes a crescent wave of energy that immediately disappears. After ten seconds, the wave reappears and flies in the direction it was initially cast. 5 second cooldown.


• Stasis - Aeon Crane has increased health regeneration.


• Reverse - Once per week, Aeon Crane can resurrect herself immediately after dying, returning to full health and removing all buffs and debuffs.

White King needs more minions. Because really, she's the most newbie-friendly King there is~ If you want to make a lvl 1, join the Ivory Masks, and get leveled to level 9 in just a year!

And damn, Hisoka would fit Ivory Masks so well, in terms of appearance!
