Recently, Henry's been complaining about insomnia. I told her that she probably can't sleep because she drinks soda at 11:30 at night right before she goes to bed, and that maybe she should try water, since it seems like soda is the only thing she ever drinks anyway.Apparently, she is strongly against the idea of drinking water, claiming that "old people drink water!" and also that we bathe in it. Basically, as she puts it, "water is groooooooss!!"

I had an acquaintance like that, once. Have you suggested flavored water or adding Mio or Crystal Light or something to water? There are sugar and caffeine-free varieties if you are truly concerned about leading her away from after-dinner soda.

Is this someone in Canada? :P

She does know water is in Soda... right?
Kaga said Yes. That is her argument for not ever drinking plain water. She claims that she gets enough water from the soda she drinks.I for one am still stuck on "old people drink water!" XD
Magic Magnum said
B... but, she's over 70% water.

Based on what's been said, the solutions left to her are: 1) Better sleeping habits may mitigate it2) Sleeping Pills, not the best but a solution neverthelessAlso are you sure its just the soda? A likely culprit which probably isn't helping the situation anyway but it could be for other reasons.
