The sun shone down harshly, no mercy for the residents of the small town of Appleseed. There was a small wind, but not nearly enough to keep it's inhabitants cool. There were several children near a community fountain, playing and splashing away considering it was summer. Granted, it was nearing it's end. Nel laughed as she watched an old woman come out from her store, yelling at the kids and literally raising a cane at them. It was so cliche...
The white haired female found herself walking through the street of a small town in Georgia. She was looking through the shops, trying her best not to pass out while trying to look for the people Ixchel had talked about. But... She really had no idea how to even go about it. What was she even looking for? Having been out and about for an hour or so, Nel began to look for a store that she'd be willing to go inside and cool off. Spotting a nearby bookstore across the street, she quickly ran over.
She nodded her head at the cashier before walking deeper into the store, her eyes fluttering around the many shelves. It'd been a while since she'd made a stop like this. If she'd seen a music store, she'd have gone into it but... this was the only interesting store she'd seen nearby and she'd wanted to get out of the sun fast. So, she walked around, minding her own business, happy just to be around the comfort of books.
Soon, she found herself in front of the music section, looking over self teaching books over pianos. She had a few already but she desperately wanted more, though she knew she couldn't afford them. She had a job already, it just didn't pay nearly enough. She let out a soft sigh as her fingers slide over the spine of the book she was currently drooling over.
