Rosy nodded. She didn't understand what he was trying to do. Why did he want batons? Was he trying to show them something? Was he trying to tell them something? Or was he just bored and wanting to do something familiar? She supposed it didn't matter. She quickly made the requested amount of batons and handed them out.

"Grazie." Felice took a moment to weigh the shadow copies in his hands, even comparing it to his own batons. Placing his batons down for a moment, he tossed the shadow copies in the air a couple of times before starting to juggle them. Finally used to the feeling, he caught the batons and picked up his own before juggling them all together. With the different weights, it took some extra concentration to keep track of when to change the force he used to throw them, but he eventually figured it out. When he was satisfied, he caught them all again and turned to the rest. "Mi aiutate? Tira..." He tossed one baton in the air and caught it in one hand. "...e afferra." Starting to juggle them again, he waited for the rest to get ready.

"I'll try but I've never juggled before." Roxy told him. She tried to mimic his movements. His movements were graceful. Hers were clumsy. It was clear she had no natural talent. She tried those her movements were nothing like his. If her batons had been real she would have dropped them several times.

Amber eyes tracked the movements the girl in front of him made, staring intently without moving away from her hands. Toss. Catch. Toss. Catch. Toss. Eventually, he nodded and motioned with his head. "Mi quelle tirai. E afferai queste." One eye closed, though his face remained serious. "Catch."

Waiting for just a second more to make sure his timing was right, he tossed one of the shadow copies.

Roxy dropped the baton. Even with his warning she had been caught off guard. She cursed under her breath as she picked it up. She glared at Felipe wondering if there was a point to this. She tossed the baton back to him. "What are we doing? Is there a point to this?"

Felice caught the baton and nodded as he tossed it up with the others. "Ho bisogno di sapere se potrei lavorare con ti. E vorrei sapere la differerenzia." He took a moment to catch the batons again and hold them still. "Sincronizzazione. Calibrazione, anche." The slightly short boy tapped his head with one of the batons and motioned between himself and Roxy. "Penso che possiamo lavorare insieme."

Putting his own batons away, the boy held out the rest for her to take before motioning back to himself. "Una dimonstrazione per ti, anche? Dimo...demonstration...?"

("I want to know the difference."
"Synchronization and calibration, also. I think we can work together."

Roxy gave Felipe an odd look. "Strangle that makes sense. I'm not very good at working with others. I haven't had a lot of practice. I'm glad you think we can work together. All I saw was me screwing up again. You want to do a demonstration for me?" Roux rubbed her neck. She really wished she had her knives she missed them. "I'm afraid that isn't possible but thanks for the offer.

The boy stopped for a moment, dropping his expression in a state of slightly shocked confusion. He wasn't sure which part to respond to first, the fact that she had understood it so easily, or the apparent impossibility of a demonstration. Hmm...perhaps he wasn't clear...

"Va bene." He eventually replied, crossing his arms. "Vedresti altra cosa? Abbiamo bisogno di praticare con le potenze, si?"
("Would you like to see anything else? We have to practice with these abilities, right?")

Rosy frowned uncertainly. She had no idea what he had said this time. She couldn't even begin to guess at what he was trying to say. Before she could ask him to demonstrate again Vlad grabbed her arm. "This is not what I told you to do. Are you both stupid." he asked shaking Roux. She didn't bother answering he wasn't going to listen. "I said power development not useless skills. Now lets see what my brilliance has done to you."

Rosy frowned uncertainly. She had no idea what he had said this time. She couldn't even begin to guess at what he was trying to say. Before she could ask him to demonstrate again Vlad grabbed her arm. "This is not what I told you to do. Are you both stupid." he asked shaking Roux. She didn't bother answering he wasn't going to listen. "I said power development not useless skills. Now lets see what my brilliance has done to you."

Felice narrowed his eyes and growled slightly. "Lasciami a lavorare, Anziano! Non è come tu sai niente di che fai se non ci dai direzioni specifici!" ("Let me work! It's not like you gave specific instructions on how to go about it!")

Huffing, he glanced over at Roxy for a moment and beckoned. "Vorrei che la ragazza ha suoi braccia si lavoreremmo come ti vorresti, Anziano." ("She's going to need her arms back if we are going to practice the way you want.")

Stepping backwards, the boy walked several meters away before spreading his arms out to either side of himself, staring directly at the girl. "Mi colpi. Tirai qualcosa."

Roxy jerked away from Vlad. She glared at the scientist. How was it her fault that the Italian couldn't follow orders? She did want to see what the others could do. Vlad had bragged about his success but she didn't know how much was true and how much was hot air. She didn't doubt he had some success. She was proof that he could do it. But she would have to see the others before she believed. "So you want to show me what you can do?"

The boy nodded in response and thumped one fist against his chest, trying to suggest that he should be hit with something. He could just show the power without prompting, but it wouldn't show the real capabilities behind it. Besides, looking like a child's toy couldn't possibly be all that impressive on its own.

The door to the gym was roughly slammed open as two guards pushed Desdemona inside. She made to turn and shout at the two, but the door was soon closed in her face and the thudding of boots soon after. She turned back around. "Sorry I'm late, my darling, I was only released from my room mere seconds ago." She said with an apologetic bow. She smiled slightly at Vlad, waiting to hear what he had to say, if anything at all.

"You want me to attack you? That's an unusual request. Most people ask not to be attacked." Roxy saidcas she studied him. She didn't have her knives or any other weapon. Which meant that had to attack him with her hands. She had never been good with hand to hand. She smiled as an idea formed. "Alright." She created two knives out of her shadow and threw them at him. She aimed for his chest since it was the biggest target.

Knives. What exactly had he been expecting? Of course it would be some sort of sharp object; those were effective, after all. But he had asked for it, so now it was his problem.

He sucked in his breath as he waited and closed his eyes right before the impact. Maledetta, this is going to sting something awful!

A few drastically increased heartbeats later, he felt himself knocked back way further than a human his size probably should have been. He was right: It did sting horribly, but as he fell to the ground, he could already feel a huge difference. Upon opening his eyes, he could see both knives sticking out of his chest, a lot bigger than he thought he had seen while they were airborne. Of course, his perspective always changed whenever he shrank to the size of a rag doll. The simplified figure of Felice stood up with some difficulty to its full height of around eight inches and winced slightly as he pulled the blades from his chest. He took a moment to examine them before walking halfway back to Roxy and flipping them around to hand back to her as if nothing had happened.

The doors to the gym were open and a pale, white haired teen was walked into the room by a pair of armed guards. One of the guards made sure the collar around the boys neck was secure before they turned and left. The boy then scanned over the room for a moment before he slowly made his way to the others. He stood at the end of the group, eyeing each of it's members, but remained completely silent.

Roxy turned her attention to the new arrival. She was surprised to see who the guards lead into the room. She thought she was the only one that Blade deemed threatening enough to collar. But apparently not. She studied the new arrival. She didnt see any obvious danger but knew you couldn't always tell by just looking at someone what they were capable of doing. She would have to be careful around this one.

Felice turned his gaze to the two newcomers; it looked like he wasn't the strangest looking person in the room anymore. These two both seemed to have white hair and eyes like he hadn't seen on most people before. He couldn't tell what it could be that was present in them, but there were other questions at hand. If they had also survived their testing, then they also had some sort of power that would be displayed soon enough.

"That will do Roxy and Felice take your seats. Kane and Desdemona I would like to introduce you to the other two survivors of the experiment." Vlad indicated to the two who had just displayed their skills. Roxy called the shadow knives back to her. Just as they reached her hands the dark hair girl jerked. Vlad grinned seeing the hard card girl lose even the tiniest bit of the control she struggled so hard for. "No one kitten we have talked about this. You are not allow knives. Even shadow ones until you proof you're willing to cooperate." the dark haired girl glared at him under her hair but said nothing as she picked herself up off the floor. "Now Kane and Desdemona will show what wonderful gifts I gave them."

The still-tiny Felice glanced back over at Roxy before moving to the side of the gym, wondering what exactly had just happened. Was she just injured by her own ability? Was this what she had meant by being limited by the scientists? Could that have happened to him? Could it still happen to him?

...no, probably not. Vlad had other means of controlling him, and he was certain that the old troll knew it. He had never heard it from him directly, but the ability he had been given seemed like enough of a threat. That was why he had made the bargain to begin with; he needed to do something about that draw he was sure that the crazy scientist had, and hopefully before he figured out just how much he could be influenced by it.

Standing away from the others, he waited to see what the two new projects could do. If they were alive, they had to be something good.

Kane did not nod, make a sound, nor even blink as a sign of acknowledge meant to the doctor. He merely extended his hand forwarded, his palm facing up. A moment latter a black metallic sphere about the size of a baseball appeared floating just above Kane's palm. The pale skinned teen eyed the sphere for a second before it started to deform. It started to bend and extend until it was in the shape of a dagger, it's metallic black surface reflecting little light. A moment latter the dagger bent and reshaped until it was turned into a throwing star. That only lasted for a moment before the throwing star started to bend and reshape until it was in the shape of a small crow, obviously just a statue. Kane looked from the statue floating above his hand to the doctor for a moment before the crow changed into a new shape. This time when it was done a small replica of Vlad, even standing with the same posture as the real one was, was floating over Kane's hand. The teen stared at the doctor for a moment before quickly slamming his hand shut, crushing the statue into nothingness.
