My, her room mate was a bold one, but it was something she quickly grew to love. Perhaps because she had never been the target of Tohru's rougher side, though she did have to wonder what Tohru might call her if they hadn't winded up on such friendly terms.

Red Shorts! A slight smile formed on her lips at the name, but when she noticed how flustered and embarrassed Reiko acted, she put on her best poker face. Mira didn't want Reiko to have more of a reason to dislike her, but truthfully Reiko hadn't proved herself to be that nice of a girl just judging by the way she treated Junko and Haru. They hadn't done anything to deserve that... but, there was obviously more to the girl than she let on. She could remember a much softer, cuter girl coming out of her shell just a few minutes ago. Well, not that much softer.

Mira winced when Reiko stormed out of the room and slammed the door shut. She frowned and looked to her room mate, who was steady balancing on the two back legs of her chair. "Ehh, Ru-..." She watched the inevitable with wide eyes as Tohru leaned back too far in her chair and fell onto the hard floor, but not before trying to catch herself with a grasp of the air.

"Ru-chan!" She gasped as her friend got up from the floor, cursing in embarrassment as the students laughed at her misfortune. Poor Tohru and Reiko...and Haru...ka

"So, Haru-chan?! How are you liking Lilium so far?" She asked, turning to the taller foreign student with a big smile.

Regan looked up from her meal and from Rika to the girl approaching the idol from behind. Who was this, now? She was asking about the Kendo club building... well, she was out of luck. As Captain, she had a key, but that didn't mean she felt like going to unlock it in the middle of lunch. "If you're looking for the Kendo Club building, you'd take the long path left, from the side door of the main building, but it's locked, and it won't be open until clubs begin after class. You'll have to wait until then." She smiles softly to the girl before resuming her meal. Was she a new member for Kendo? Regan didn't recognize her, and if she was asking about it, she probably was.

Hikaru softly kicked the floor.
"Aww, man! Stuff's really different in High School, I guess"
She uttered a few suppressed curses and then blushed a little bit..., yes, just a liiiiiittle tiiiiny bit as she was being stared at.
"This is boring crap... what are you even supposed to do in a lunch break that long? You don't need that long to eat...", she exclaimed to no one in particular.
Of course, with her attitude, she didn't even care that she disturbed the students around her with that monologue of hers.
Her face turned back to the two girls eating at that table. "If you don't mind, I'll sit down here and just listen and maybe randomly barge into conversations. Why am I even asking...? I'd do it anyway"
Hikaru laughed awkwardly and just dropped herself onto a chair tapping her cranium with her fingers.

Junko half-heartedly listened in on the conversations while she slurped up the curry. She had only a small portion left when she heard was Reiko sourly speaking to the foreign sutdent, then couldn't help but curiously keep an eyebrow raised as she stuck with the conversation. Reiko really could have an attitude if she wanted. Was she really that upset about what happened between their three way conversation earlier?

When Reiko stomped out of the classroom and slammed the door, Junko froze and smirked a bit. What the hell just happened? Maybe there was something between her and these classmates she didn't know. Or maybe Reiko just straight up didn't like them. Junko hoped she'd cool down by the time she had to run into her in their dorms.

"Eh...sooooo......good curry yeah?" The girl that called Reiko red shorts asked her, looking a little bit awkward. Junko nodded and smirked. "Damn fantastic." She sighed dreamily and stared at the bowl. Maybe if Reiko would have finished it, she wouldn't have been in such a bad mood. Junko turned the bowl slightly to the girl, staring at her with a deadpan expression. "You want some? Five tablespoons of pure heaven, buddy. Going once...going twice..."

"Eh? Hollywood? You mean crazy?" Rika replied. She didn't know about Hollywood enough to understand what she could have meant by that, but Kill La Kill was very Japanese. "My favorite magical girl anime is Madoka Magica. It might not be as cute as the other ones, but it's super cool. I've seen a ton of magical girls so I might be biased in recommending any of them. I've always wanted to be one, but looks like I'll just have to stick to acting, huh? So anyways, I-"

Suddenly she felt someone unexpectedly poke her back, sending a chill up her spine as she jerked quickly upright with a short yelp escaping her lips. She turned around to see a new girl with a mysteriously large smile on her face. How creepy. Had she been in a horror movie, Rika would more then likely be dead very soon. Luckily this was real life and this girl was just trying to appear friendly...she hoped. Regan answered he question for her while she was regaining her composure. The girl found a chair and plopped in nearby, somehow managing to squeeze into the crowd of surrounding fangirls. They were clearly not pleased with yet another strange girl working her way close to their idol. However, perhaps being intimidated by them both being in kendo, and not wanting to make a scene in public, they said nothing, only letting their eyes do the talking.

"We were discussing anime and magical girls," Rika explained. "Do you like any?"

Now that she stopped to look at this new girl, she looked an awful like the protagonist of a certain anime. How silly. She barely managed to contain a smirk at this sudden realization.

Blinking a little as Tohru reaction to Reiko before utterly falling backwards on her chair. "Aye, you alright there Ma'am?" she said about to hold her hand out to the short haired girl but Tohru had already gotten back up. She seemed alright, so the foreigner just smiled softly in relief before looking down at the pink haired girl who decided to speak to her.

"Well other than being late to school, being scolded by a classmate for my rude behavior and basically called a idiot, bullied by some girls who ruined mah uniform, and being made fun of mah accent just now... This school is pretty great. Ah shure know Ah'm not gonna be bored here." Haru answered with a cheerful smile. Brushing off what she said as a some joke, seeming mostly uncaring of what happened so far.

Gently patting the top of the pink haired girl's head, she grinned a little. "Shure am glad to have a buddy like you." she chirped.

"Yes and no. Yes to anime, no to magical girls..." Hikaru planted her feet onto the table. "Before you ask: Which animes do you like? My favourite ones are Code Geass, Sword Art Online, FMA: Brotherhood and the Gundam series, mainly 00 and Unicorn"

Yes, there are a lot more animes that Hikaru liked, but most of them she wouldn't dare to admit to be watching. Never ever. Especially stuff like Toradora! or White Album 2.
However, her facial features slipped out of her control for a moment and she got a dreamy look as she thought about Toradora and how much she actually liked that. Oh, yeah. How she wished to be cherished just like the protagonist, Taiga. She sometimes, in private, of course, wished to be more like her. To be able to have this hard mask and be lovely and everything.

A few seconds later, her consciousness returned to the world at hand and she focused on the girl with the pink hair again.
"And, yes, I am aware that I look like a protagonist from a very well known anime... I get reminded of that almost every day that I am outside somewhere"
She swatted her hand as if to shoo away annoying flies.
"Oh, and, those people here..." She turned towards the crowd that had formed around the pink haired girl. "Don't you all have something waaaaay better to do than to just mindlessly stare at this girl here? Seriously?" Angered, she bashed her hand onto the table, right next to where her feet already were, which seemed like an enormous feat to be able to bend herself this much.

Regan finished her meal while she listened to the new girl list her anime. She almost chokes when this girl directly addresses Rika's fans, steadying herself quickly and smiling to herself. It was what she'd wanted to tell them, but she'd had the feeling that it would be better if she didn't. She then rested her chopstick across the top of her bowl. "Gochisousama." She rose and took her plate to the return area, before coming back. She trailed a finger teasingly up the back of the girl that had tried to take her seat the last time, though she acted like she hadn't done anything as she resumed her seat. "I think classes are going to be beginning again, soon. We should hurry up before we end up being late."

"How is Sword Art: Online? I've heard of it, but I don't often watch anime. I usually just read manga."

Reiko, in her anger and annoyance, sat the rest of lunch in the grounds, finding an unclaimed bench in the quad and claiming it as her own. Her mood was soured, first by Aino-san's incessant prodding, then by more people faking their concern for her injuries. They didn't care. None of them did. The fact that they had to open with that instead of a typical greeting meant they weren't interested. Bunch of people just feigning concern so as to come off as 'nice' or 'friendly'. Not this time. Reiko wasn't fooled. And, if all that wasn't bad enough, she had given her curry to Kuriyama. That was her curry, the one highlight in an otherwise terrible first day.

And to think, the drama club wasn't even having their first meeting today. Reiko had nothing else to look forward to.

The bell rang signaling the end of lunch. Students had five minutes to return to the school building. Reiko grumbled, walking back into the school with her head down. She re-entered 2-C ignoring everyone, and took her seat. The afternoon classes, the final two of the day, went by in a haze, and before she knew it, she was rising along with the others and giving the sensei a bow. The first day of lessons was over, mercifully.

But the question now was, what should Reiko do with her time. She was tempted to just return to the dorms, do her homework, and sleep. Reiko headed for the door, bag in hand, ignoring the complaints of the students cleaning the room. She wasn't going to help. She was too upset.

Kotone equally left as soon as the bell rang--in her case, because she wasn't assigned to do any cleaning, and too many cooks spoiled the broth. No, she had better plans in store for this afternoon: first go get changed, and then see if any of the very brief recruits to the Aikido club from last year were going to try it again. It was doubtful; the fact that they might end up hurting a yakuza princess had been enough to drive them off. Either they practised after school, or they'd joined another martial arts club.

The advantage of living on campus was clear: to get changed before clubs started, you just had to go back to your room. Easy enough, and there was absolutely no need to spend the whole day lugging clothes around and getting them creased. Thus, shortly after the bell rang, Kotone was headed to the clubroom--one particularly out of the way, which for once wasn't the result of her poor connections, and was simply the luck of the draw.

She certainly gave people something to appreciate.

The tight shirt was mostly grey, save for the cream sleeves, and could be said to hug her figure a little too tightly, though not to the point you could determine if she'd put another bra on since the gym lesson. The shorts, equally cream, did nothing to show off her figure... but they did show off her legs. The kickboxing club would be jealous; long, athletic legs like that? That just wasn't fair, not with the rest of her.

More mystifying than showing off everything from upper thigh to ankle, though, was why she had a sleeveless, puffy orange jacket. It wasn't exactly doing anything to keep her warm.

Mira grinned at the southern bell and nodded, "Of course, Haru-san." She said before going back to her own seat since class was about to start.
________________________________________________

After the bell, Mira slowly began gathering her things into her briefcase. She looked up to see Reiko standing right next to her desk as it was right by the exit, and perked up.

Finished grabbing the rest of her belongings, Mira got up from her seat and walked over to Reiko. When she got up close to her, she sort of regretted even bothering her as she was still visibly upset about something. Maybe she just always looked upset and was really in a great mood. Guess she'll find out...

Still, she didn't want to push her luck when she had already demonstrated how mean she could be, so she opted to keep things short and friendly.

"Reikooo-chaaaan, " she sang her name with a smile, figuring she would be over what Tohru had said earlier. It's not like she was the one that called her Red Shorts, or hit her in the head with a volleyball... "Are you going to drama club today?"

Nadeshiko Kazamatsuri

"O-ow!" The forehead flick sent Nadeshiko to the floor. Quickly, she got up, rubbing her backside before going back to finish her curry feast. "I w-was j-just... Just t-teasing, eheh..." Hopefully Himawari wouldn't hold it against her too much. After all, it was a compliment! And she really did have such an amazing ass, too...
LATER, THAT VERY SAME DAY

The tiny pervert paced about anxiously. Maybe she hadn't got the note? Maybe she got it, but threw it away after reading it? After all, she was on the swim team, she probably had cooler friends to hang out with... It wasn't like she was late or anything, there was still a good ten minutes until the time she'd written down, but still...

The note she had placed under Himawari's door was rather simple, and in surprisingly neat handwriting. Then again, having neat handwriting helped in her line of work. All it asked was that she meet her at the allotted time in the Aikido Club room, since no-one actually went to that club and it was usually deserted. She noted down that Himawari would probably want to go somewhere private so that word didn't get out about her hobbies. It was nice to be so thoughtful, after all.

...Of course, Nadeshiko had an ulterior motive, which might explain why she was now dressed in the skimpiest outfit she had. Of course, even then it was just a midriff-baring t-shirt, a miniskirt that wasn't actually all that mini, and her special sexy panties. Really, she was hoping that seeing what she was working on would get Himawari all fired up and... And...

It wasn't like she was in love with her. They'd barely talked until today, after all. But Himawari was so cute, and her butt was so soft, and Nadeshiko was such a massive, massive pervert...

"Yeah, we're gonna be sexfriends, totally!" she said quietly to herself, as she waited. And waited. And...

...Hopefully she'd arrive soon.

Himawari's day had gone less embarrassingly after lunch. She went to class, and really everything seemed just fine. And... then there was the note. The note to meet Nadeshiko in the Aikido clubroom. Well, it would be abandoned... and to read the doujin, well... deep down Himawari was curious. It was only just being curious, though, no other reason for wanting to see the doujin! ... And... she felt bad about upsetting Nadeshiko so much earlier, still... and so, she grumbled to herself as she headed off to the aikido clubroom. Her casual wear was, of course, normal and nothing skimpy. A white shirt, a blue skirt, black thigh-highs... she wasn't going to go wearing anything weird or embarrassing. She didn't want Nadeshiko to go commenting on it or something.

It wasn't too long before she reached the clubroom, a few moments before the specified time, even. The brown-haired girl headed inside... and paused, staring at Nadeshiko for a moment. Was she dressed for a night on the town or something? Whatever.

"... So... I'm here," said Himawari, folding her arms.

Annoyed and utterly bored out, Hikaru left the classroom. The teacher and especially the class wouldn't want to leave her alone and annoy her with questions concerning why she hadn't appeared this morning. Hikaru neither had the nerves nor the time to endure any more of this. Well, did have the time, but she couldn't take pestering like that.

Like already said, she wasn't in particularly good mood leaving the classroom and now another bother came up pretty fast. Club elections.
There were only two clubs she even considered to join, one of the music clubs, whichever was available and needed a violinist, or the kendo club. The last one was the one her parents would prefer her to take. Not that she didn't like it, but Hikaru being Hikaru, she naturally wanted to check the club out first, which her parents don't agree on that much.

So she marched to her locker taking out her violin and then she slowly walked to wherever the music club had its session.
Impatiently, she waited outside for someone to show up, always careful to hide her violin case. Soft spots are unappreciated in girls from the Kyoto milieu Hikaru was from.
In the end, it just looked as if she were shyly fumbling around while wearing a face that told anybody looking at it "If you hug me, you're dead. But I do want some hugs..."

"Yeah...uh...no thanks." Tohru feigned graciously as she turned down the offer for curry, though tempting, but this blue haired chick...well....she creeped the hell outta Tohru in some way. "Anyways, I gotta bail. I have math soon and the sooner I get that sh*t outta the way, the f*cking better." Pushing in her chair, she waved a simple goodbye to the rest of the gang, but made sure to give one last parting smile to Mira-chan.
Guh! What a fantastic round of classes that was.... Tohru could barely stay awake through math and through biology, but thankfully the day was finally done and she was free to do whatever the hell she wanted. She figured since she was much of an outcast when it came to music club, she would just skip it for the day and wait for Mira-chan to get back to their dorm so they could hang out before lights out around the academy. Ho hum...what to do...what to do.... For one, no gaming systems were allowed on campus, even if Tohru had one, but...there was option two to kill time....and how much so Tohru missed her beloved instrument. Hehehe...a'right. A grin of such confidence, but definitely some malice, crossed her weary face as she easily high tailed it back to the dormitory and up the stairs she went to 312. There she lied in her case on Tohru's bed, untouched, unmarred, and already hardwired into a 800 watt powerhouse, so perfectly tuned for that heavenly and hellish sound the self proclaimed Queen of Metal desired to conjure from her crimson, six-stringed battle-axe. Her eyes alight and a fury of song in her swiftly pounding heart, she grasped the red guitar, glimmering in the sunset like a precious blood ruby, and threw the strap around her shoulders, next flipping on her Line 6 and cranking it ALL THE WAY UP!

When her slender pick struck those strings with a heavy attack, she marveled at the raucous fury of a well delivered power chord in standard E blasting throughout the small room and possibly resonating all over the school...since she left the window and door wide open. Yeah yeah, noise violations and all, but like Tohru even cared. She was in her zone now, only her and her guitar existed, shredding and singing proudly to the battlecry raging from her heart to her vocal chords! "Living and dying! Laughing and crying! Once you have seen it, you'll never be the same! Life in the fast-lane is just how it seems! Hard and its heavy! Dirty and mean YEAH! MOTORBREATH! It's how I live my life! I can't take it any other way! MOTORBREATH! The sign of living fast! It is going to take your breath away!"

But just as she was barreling into the hard hitting, pulse pounding fury of thrash metal's greatest, just like that she was taken out of it by a cantankerous shriek of,

"Nani! Nani! What the heck are you doing?! Are you deaf or something?! There's a noise violation rule, you know!"

Ceasing her long overdue jamming, Tohru glared apathetically at the scrawny second year girl, some dork in glasses and her bright red hair, like really bright red hair, scrunched up in pigtails as she hollered at the taller girl and expressed her utmost displeasure at Tohru's musical style....either that or she just wasted her breath to climb all the way up the stairs and trudge down the hall to b*tch at Tohru for a little noise violation. Please, the only time Tohru considered anything to be noise violating is when you had some girl in her dorm blaring out some god awful kawaii pop junk like Morning Musume or something of that ear hemorrhaging sort. "I'm trying to study for a quiz and you making all that racket isn't helping, baka!" Baka ne? Oh like Tohru was really gonna stop playing after that little spit of venom. Defiant as ever, Tohru unleashed one of her most devastating riffs she devised onto the little yapper with an evil smirk. "What?! Sorry b*tch! Can't hear ya over the sound of how badass I am and how much of a wimp you are!" Oh that little spurt of rebellion really riled up the glasses girl. Tohru could only laugh as the second year's cheeks puffed out and she bellowed over the shrieks and wails of Tohru's beloved possession, "I'm going to report you to Serizawa-sensei if you keep that up! I'm warning you!" But still Tohru played on and ignored the little brat, but what she didn't know was while she had her back turned on the shrimp, headbanging in full swing and screaming as loud as she could....the girl had her eye on a pair of scissors left so precariously on the desk next to Tohru's bed.

Next thing Tohru notices....her instrument automatically silenced. "What the-?! Huh?!" Her amp was still on. She could hear clearly the fuzz and the static feeding back to her ear, but what the hell? Her guitar? Did she break it or something during her wild jam sessions? Dumbfounded and definitely worried, she glanced down with wide eyes at her instrument....and there she noticed it. Now those wide eyes narrowed into an ever burning glare so full of Tohru's anger....and...murderous rage. Slowly, she turned her attention from her guitar and onto the girl, scissors in hand along with the rest of Tohru's amplifier cable. "Ha! That oughta teach you, punk!" But as soon as she saw Tohru's face, and how slowly and menacingly she set down her guitar, that little brat knew she was in for it. "You...are so...f*cking....DEAD!!"

"EEEEEEEEEEKK!!!!!

Immediately the chase was on as the red-haired, snot nosed little punk herself turned tail as quick as possible and high tailed it outta there with Tohru in blazing pursuit, a flurry of curses and vicious shouts following behind with all the rocker's fury. How dare she!! Tohru at least knew her guitar was safe, but you still don't mess with ANY of her stuff, that includes her amp! "DON'T THINK I WON'T CATCH UP TO YOU YOU LITTLE SNOT!!! I'MMA SHOVE MY BOOT SO FAR UP YOUR ASS AND PUNT YOU LIKE A F*CKING SOCCER BALL ACROSS THE SCHOOL!!" Out the dorms and across the campus they went, that murderous gleam in Tohru's eyes all the more terrifying to the runt, forcing her to push herself to sprint even more to escape the psychotic woman now chasing her. Soon, they darted into a building, and as it turns out....it was the music building. "NOW I GOTCHA, YOU FOUR EYED GINGER!! I'M GONNA MAKE YOU PAY FOR-" And into the music room they went, where all eyes fell upon the wrathful Tohru, her target still whimpering as she ducked behind some other chick. She sorta looked like Suzumiya to be frankly honest.

"Uh.....ehehehe K-konnichiwa....." Tohru chuckled hesitantly and ducked her head, cheeks burning red from yet...another awkward situation. Well looks like she made to the music club anyways. "I'll uh....I'll just take my seat now...ehehe...." F*ck my life....

Reiko was outside the classroom, fully in the hall, when Aino-san, she of the annoying familiarity and even more annoying sing song voice, caused Reiko to pause. She regretted it instantly. She should have kept going, should have simply ignored the girl and gone on her way. But she didn't. She paused. And worse yet, she turned around to face the pink haired annoyance. Reiko narrowed her eyes, the displeasure clear on her face, through her eyes. What was her deal? Oh, of course, blackmail. It was obvious. Now that she had dirt on Reiko, she was going to lord it over her, rub it in at every opportunity, give everyone in class the wrong idea that they were friends, right before Aino-san pulled the rug out and Reiko was left the butt of the jokes, the hatred, the insults.

"Just because you can call me by my first name doesn't mean I want you to do so at every opportunity. Do you intend to stalk me now? To follow me around, letting the whole school know that you, and only you, get to call some no-name, non important girl by her given name? Don't you have anything better to do with your time, or is annoying me how you get your fill? But I'll humor you, just so you'll get off my case, no, no I'm not going to drama club, alright? I'm not going to drama cl-."

"Yes you are." A voice behind Reiko caused Reiko to pause and turn. Fortunately for Aino, Reiko's back was now to the pink haired girl because on Reiko's face was the most awkward forced smile in recorded history. The voice belonged to a taller girl with long hair and eyes heavy with make-up. "You're coming to drama club, Ko-Ko, it's an emergency."

Reiko was even more glad that her back was to her class, because there was a look of panic and slight embarrassment now all over her face. "W...What? What emergency, Kawase-senpai?" Kawase was the president of the drama club, filling the role after voted on by the students of the club last year. She was a third year, and when she wasn't performing her hobbies included watching classic samurai films and picking on her juniors. Mostly Reiko. Reiko used to be known as Rei-Rei to Kawase. And once she realized how annoyed that made Reiko, she swapped it in favor of Ko Ko. It annoyed Reiko even more, and that was perfect for Kawase.

"You've been cast in the Welcome Performance It's our biggest recruitment chance, you know that." Kawase replied matter-of-factly. "We need someone to play the new student."

"What? But that's the lead. Can't Okuda-senpai do it?"

"Yes, she could. But I'm the club president and I don't want her to do it. I want you to do it, Ko-Ko. Now come on, we're doing a readthrough. Bring your friend if you want." Kawase motioned towards Aino.

"She's not my friend." Reiko replied quickly, one foot stomping away from making it a full-on declaration.

"Oh? And here I thought Ko-Ko finally decided to play nice. Koya-senpai isn't here anymore, you're gonna start playing nice with everyone or you're gonna find yourself another club. Now let's go, Ko-Ko. Drama awaits."

Kawase clapped her hands and proceeded down the hall. Reiko turned briefly to Aino, her annoyed expression still on her face. "You can't come to the rehearsal."

With that declaration, she sighed and followed after the club president.

Nadeshiko Kazamatsuri

Nadeshiko shot to attention when she heard Himawari, and slowly turned towards her, a smile twitching nervously across her face.

"Um... H-h-hey, Himawari-ch-ch-chan! Um, uh, um..." Nadeshiko was a little disheartened by how plainly Himawari was dressed, but then again you don't really need to gild a lily. And what a lily she was... Oh yes, there would most certainly be some rather wonderful lilies here very soon.

"I, um, I'll j-just get it eheheh..." Giggling nervously, the tiny pervert rummaged about in her bag. Not that... Not that, definitely, that's for later, eheheh~ Ah, here we go! Soon enough, she pulled out a copy of her current work, and with trembling hands passed it to Himawari.

"I, um, uh... I h-hope you l-like it, eheh," she mumbled. Hopefully she would, and hopefully she wouldn't get bored before getting to the good stuff... After all, Nadeshiko was an artist, not some common pornographer. What was the point of starting with the main event? It was more fun and rewarding if there was some build up first... Sure, romance was hard to write, but at least Mana and Regina made it far too easy. Hopefully Himawari would get that. Hopefully she wouldn't get bored before she got to page ten...

Mira had only heard like the first sentence of what Reiko was saying to her until a taller girl with heavy eye make-up slid open the classroom door and just...stood behind Reiko while she was ranting. The older girl did not seem interested in Mira, but naturally Mira looked up at her and unconsciously tuned Reiko's speech out as she blinked curiously at the new girl. Finally, the tall blonde interrupted Reiko, addressing Reiko as Ko-ko which made Mira smile. Ko-ko?[/] She wished she thought of such a name, it was adorable and quite fitting for Reiko, even more so than Red Shorts.

Though Reiko turned her back on her, Mira listened intently to their conversation, pleased to hear the good news about Reiko getting a lead role. [i]Ahh, lucky Reiko-chan!
She silently cheered for her, and then considered doing something for her to celebrate...That was, until Reiko denied being her friend. Pressing her lips into a flat line, her face turned red. What?! They were so friends, not close friends, but definitely friends...

Mira watched the taller girl disappear down the hall before her eyes met Reiko's again just to be told not to come to her rehearsal. Mira did not respond to this request, and would not make any promises to her.

The Music Room

After a run back to her dorm to get changed into a simple powder blue t-shirt dress with bananas and pineapples printed all over it, cream colored thigh highs and baby pink platform converse which added an extra three inches to her height. She then headed to the music room to meet up with the club. Along the way, she recalled the events of her day and thought about a certain student that had disappeared during lunch. Mira wondered if she was okay, but decided not to dwell on it too much. After all, it was her first year being President of The Music Club and she was too excited!

"Konnichiwaaa!" She exclaimed when she stepped into the music room. Right off the bat she recognized Tohru and a smile lit up her face entire face when she saw the rocker chick. Of course she would be here... No doubt Tohru had proven herself to be a very talented musician, but even if she wasn't Mira still expected to see Tohru there. The Music Club accepted anyone as long as they had a love of music. Well, that's not exactly how it was last year as most of the club members were elitist third-years that only allowed the best of the best into the club, but things would be different this year. Mira had secured her position as Club President fair and square.

"So, um..." She murmured, tapping her index finger against her lips in thought. Introductions! That would be good. "I'm Aino Mira, this year's Music Club President. Nice to meet you all!" She bowed slightly to them, and looked them over. It was a little odd standing up when most of them were seated. Maybe because she wasn't used to being in positions of authority. "Today, I don't have anything in particular planned so we can just get acquainted, or play your instruments..." Mira went over to a cupboard and pulled out some poster paper, markers, and other arts and crafts things. It was left over from whenever the music club made posters to hang in the hallways. She set it down on a desk, and then turned to everyone again. "Or if you don't want to do that you can help me make signs to hang around in the school, and-" There was something in her eye when she said that. "to show your support for Reiko Ishida's first lead performance in the school play!"

A lot of the club members decided to talk among themselves and others opted to make posters.

Mira picked a blank poster, and sat at an empty desk next to Tohru. "Ru-chan," She said, popping open a marker with a smile. "Do you want to go over to Drama club and see Reiko-chan's rehearsal with me? The Club President invited me." Mira failed to mention that Reiko told her not to come. "She's going to have a performance at the Welcome ceremony and I want to have these posters ready by then. You don't think she'll be angry, do you?" She asked honestly. She knew very well that Reiko was a ticking time bomb, but really... all she needed is some TLC from her friends.

Himawari raised an eyebrow... and, slowly, took the doujin. She'd just... read up to the pervy parts and give it back. She... okay, she did read these things in private, but that was private and that was different and this was reading it in front of someone.

"I'm just going to take a quick look, alright?" Himawari said, before huffing and flipping the doujin open. And... well... as she read through the first few pages, she couldn't help but realize how sweet and cute it was. And... well, Nadeshiko's art was really really good... it was really sweet, cute romance between the two girls and Himawari... well, okay, she'd seen stuff like this in Nadeshiko's other doujinshi, but still. This was really remarkably sweet and adorable. Himawari guessed that it helped that she really thought these two were cute together... Maybe this doujin was actually just pure romance? Maybe it-

Himawari froze as she found herself on... the page. The page where it... it began.

It was... so very, very... well-drawn... and...

It almost seemed as if Himawari's entire body was blushing. The brown-haired girl trembled as she stared at the page... and slowly moved to the next...

"I-I... u-um... w-well... er... I-It's..."

For a few minutes or so, Tohru tried to blow off her urge to throttle that damn student for slicing up her perfectly good amp cable, though the little red-headed demon deserved what she had coming for her. Nevertheless, Tohru decided it wouldn't be now, but later when she enacted her vengeance upon the runt, who already vacated the music room after the here recent episode, but she didn't leave without catching a few hate-filled glares from the young woman she had so scorned with just a pair of scissors and some gawd awful ugly glasses come to think of it. Bored as ever, Tohru wasted her time in music club. fumbling with the keys on the grand piano that rested in the corner of the rather large classroom, but it certainly had to be large enough to house the students and their instruments, especially those cellos some of the girls dragged in. Tohru was lucky during her pursual of that punk she didn't yet again trip over something and make an even bigger fool of herself. Ugh, and she only wished all the more she could bring her guitar to the club instead of playing this damn piano.

It wasn't that she hated the piano, it was just.....her guitar was her pride and joy, even if she did steal it from a pawn shop, but she held onto it for so long, and so much of her musical talent lied within those six strings she loved to feel against her fingers, as much as the polished wood of the neck, but for now, she let out a bothersome sigh and continued playing the same measure over and over, the same repetitive pattern of notes being stamped out against those ivory keys. Another thought that came to mind for the rocker was who was picked to be the club president this year? Really, no one told her, even after she signed up again for another year, but her answer was soon met as the door slid open to reveal.....Mira-chan? Huh? Well if there was one good thing about today again, it was this. Tohru returned the pink haired girl's smile with one of her own, along with a short wave before she turned back to the piano. Better her than some snooty music-elitist bragging about Bach or Wagner, Tohru thought. Actually way better! It was her friend, which meant she might be able to get off the hook with her guitar...although...she was stuck in acoustic till she could purchase another amp cable.

Already, Tohru was laughing inside as she saw her friend's newest outfit, just finding it adorably hilarious the deep contrast to the rocker's choice of frayed fishnet stockings, knee-high Demonia combat boots, a dark, almost blood red miniskirt with black plaid pattern and a bullet belt, and the piece de resistance, a half torn and sleeveless Slayer: Reign in Blood t-shirt, not to mention some black leather wristbands with metal studs.

Turning her attention away from the piano again, she kept to herself and listened to her friend's short but cheerful introduction. Her pierced eyebrow perked up a little when she saw Mira pulling down...art supplies? Tohru wasn't the best artist mind you, but she could draw, but...wasn't this a music club. It was made clear however with the next statement. Mira-chan wanted to make posters for some play Red-Shorts was in, more specifically to show support for the grumpy-gilled genderbender for getting the lead role. Support? For her? Psh! Not after the girl practially blew up at Tohru and chewed off half the chick's face. She was only showing her concern for the girl, and she meant it dammit, but if that's how you're gonna take Tohru's sympathy, then of course she had two choice words for the return, F*ck you.

As the rest of the club proceeded to just chatter amongst themselves, Tohru rolled her eyes, not to be a music snob or anything, but-Oh yeah...they're dedicated musicians alright... At least she had the tenacity to play her instrument in the room...despite being a little rusty at it than with her guitar. She paused her playing though when Mira caught her attention. Maybe a play wouldn't be so bad to see with Mira-chan she thought, and also....she could maybe humiliate Red-Shorts...no no....be on your best behavior she was quick to reconsider, especially in the company of a sweet girl like Mira. "Yeah, sounds good." She agreed to go. As for Mira's concerns over Reiko being mad,,,well..., "Really I couldn't give a damn if she's pissed or not, but for safe measure...eh....maybe not. She probably just needed some time to cool life like I do usually, speaking of which.....you don't happen to know a girl with red hair and glasses, do you Mira-chan? Let's just say I...need to have a long talk with her about touching my stuff." Oh yes, despite her being cooled off at the moment with her good friend beside her, there would still be payback for that ginger creep.
