Known history and secrets: Personality:Xavi is a roguish person, one who you can't always be quite sure about his motives. Unlike most of the other Granite Guardians, he doesn't hold any real Patriotism for the village but instead serves the village out of respect for taking care of him when he was banished from his home. He is kind to those that are kind to him and usually not one to start a fight. He isn't above ending a fight, though.
Xavi is quite an artist as well, and as such has a very artistic view on the world. He doesn't always see things like others do, but tends to romanticize them and make them seem more romantic than they are.
The guy is dangerous, and he knows it. He is dangerous because of how reckless he is in a fight, he will obliterate an entire forest just to catch one enemy, should he have to. He also has dangerously fun in a fight and is far from stealthy.
HistoryBorn into the Kishimoto clan he was never supposed to be a warrior, he was supposed to be a painter, or a writer, just like his parents and grandparents. But Xavi was never one to really just sit still and fiddle with his pen. No, the young boy had to get out and use his hands. From a young age he started making sculptures, first out of mud, and when he was seven years old he started to realize he could affect minerals with his mind, it took him some effort to do it, but as the months went by, he started to discover his talents, and he found a natural affinity for Sand.
When he was nine years old, his clan joined into the Hidden Sand Village after much pressure from the independent clans in the country to join them, they choose to join the safer option, the shinobi village. Xavi was quickly chosen to join the Academy, and become a shinobi of the hidden sand, and he did, he excelled in the basic testing, and was promoted to chunnin at the age of 11, only two years after coming to the village, his sand jutsu proving most effective and his chakra reserves proved to be absolutely gigantic.
At the age of 14 he was seen as a Jounin in the Sunagakure Army, where he fought many battles against the other nations, going toe to toe with the hidden leaf mostly. One Leaf Shinobi, a member of the Sarutobi clan killed one of Xavi's friends during a peaceful negotiation, forcing Suna to engage Konoha in combat once again and Xavi chased the Sarutobi down, he hid inside a forest in the land of wind, a forest where there was also a village, a civilian village that Xavi wasn't aware had been setup there.
The Sarutobi ran towards the village as Xavi unleashed his greatest techniques towards the Sarutobi, in the effort he also destroyed the village, killing about a dozen civilians, people of the wind country. He Sarutobi was buried alive, but Xavi had to live with the guilt for the rest of his life. He left Sunagakure, quitting the shinobi life as he was banished and wandered the world for five years, at 19 he was having his head in a bottle, trying to drown his sorrows when a man approached him, saying he would give him purpose again. That there were people who needed him, that would help him get justice for the people he had wrongfully killed. The man's name was Hirorama, a warrior from the Stone Village, in the small village in the south on a mission that he couldn't discuss. Xavi begrudegly accepted, and soon the village was attacked by Kirigakure forces, the village would have gotten annihalated of Xavi hadn't helped using his magnet release to ruin the Mist forces, saving the village and making him feel like he could be a shinobi again.
Since then he's spent the last five years being a Iwagakure ninja and a member of the Granite Guard.
Clan: The Kishimoto Clan is a passive clan, they're artists, not warriors, masters of the paintbrush, not the blade.
They are located in the Land of Wind and searched out refuge within the Hidden Sand Village when the local clans tried to rope the clan into fighting for them. They hold the unique ability to use Ink Release, a hidden jutsu that they practice daily.
Dreams and aspirations:To become the leader of the Wind Country and make the Sand and the Rock sister villages.
Short term, it's to make sure that his birthplace and his adopted home don't break their peace and go to war on each other.
General strengths:Xavi's biggest strength lies in the sheer amount of chakra the guy has, several saying that he has one of the steepest chakrapools anyone has ever seen. This leads to him being able to make large-scale jutsu and advanced techniques much easier than others, as he doesn't have to worry about running out of chakra as much as others have to.
He is a very strong fighting in large areas, having the ability to alter the terrain to his benefit. As such, he is very powerful against multiple opponents and in large spaces. Unlike one would think, he isn't a stationary fighter with his Magnet Release, but actually uses his Assimilate All Creation technique to move around on the battlefield to make himself a much more difficult target to hit.
Guy is a superb Ninjutsu user, this combined with his battle-smarts makes him quite the force to be reckoned with.
General weaknesses:He is careless with his chakra simply because he has so much of it, it's happened several times that he overuses his chakra which leads to him having to face the consequences of being worn out in a fight before his opponent, even if his opponent has a much smaller chakrapool than him.
Where as his strength lies in changing the terrain to his advantage, his weakness lies in taking control of the fight from him. Fight him in close quarters in enclosed spaces where he can't manipulate the terrain and he will be made short work off.
And lastly is most likely his biggest weakness. His weakness to not one or two elements, but three elements. Water, Lightning and Fire all affects him negatively, Lightning and Fire burns his sand, making it much slower, and if in high enough temperatures it will turn the sand to glass. Water turns the sand into mud, and he can't use his techniques underwater, or really around water, which is why he tries to avoid that as much as possible.
Combat intel:Known chakra natures: Magnet Release.
Kekkei Genkei:He has the ability to use the Hidden Ink Jutsu, as he was tutored in it as a child, but he much preferred to work in sand.
Skill Specialization: Ninjutsu: Xavi is very skilled at using his ninjutsu in unorthodox ways, not only to affect large areas, but using his sand and All Creation Technique to make his opponents unaware of where he is currently on the battlefield, giving him a rather severe advantage.

Description: The user sends their chakra into the ground, the chakra violently turning the earth underneath them into sand, changing the battlefield. It leaves quite the crater behind if used with full force. It can be use in smaller capacities. The sand moves with him, quite slowly on the ground as he moves around the battlefield, as if to prevent his opponents from escaping.
Weakness:In itself it doesn't have any combat application, it's a technique purely meant to setup, it has a fairly long handseal sequence giving the opponents an opening to attack Xavi. Moving the sand requires chakra for Xavi, so you could actually drain his chakra pool by just running away from him and making him chase you.

Description: Xavi's one and only purely “Close” combat technique. He uses a small stream of sand like a sharp blade that he moves around the air with his magnetic powers. The blade moves at quite high velocities making it cut just like a blade.
Weakness:Can't pierce armor properly, holds no proper stabbing potential.

In a battlefield made out of sand, Xavi will make sand erupt from the ground, making explosions from underneath that sends out sharp sand all around in a 5 meter radius, slicing and dicing opponents. He can make several of them for relative small (for him) chakra costs.
Weakness:It's possible to predict them because of the small airbubble that can be seen underneath the sand, the sand will poke up a bit from the rest of the sand as it's about to blow, best place to be would be in the air when he uses this technique, either that, or moving too fast for him to actually hit you with the technique. This is one of his biggest “Chakra thieves” as he quickly loses control of how many eruptions he has actually used.

Description:Xavi cowers his lower body in sand, the sand starts spiraling beneath him and like a spring it sends him propelling through the air. This is an extremely quick way for him to move around, or to chase down an opponent who is trying to escape his Sand Battlefield.
Weakness:While in the air, he has little control over his own motions, meaning he's pretty much a sitting, err, flying duck.

Description: Xavi carries four 'Pouches' on him, two on his waist, one on his left thigh, and one on his chest. They're filled with the highest quality sand Xavi has ever made, they all together amount to about 4 liters of sand, just enough for him to use his small-scale techniques or to make a small Sand Shield. He uses this in situations where he's caught out and cannot generate massive amounts of sand. Due to the nature of his “Apex Sand”, it requires more chakra to use, but is more powerful than regular sand.
