[IC] Curse of the Beast

Unable to get anywhere else, Vivi started trying variouns doors to see if there was anything interesting about. It felt strange to be searching around a house she didn't know, but since she was probably going to be here for a while, she decided that she might as well learn something about the place. Besides, if they were supposed to be here to break their curse, in however awkward a fashion that might end up, it made more sense to know where to run to in case things went wrong.

Or, you know...maybe just not make the boys or the butler have to come after her because she was getting lost every couple of hours. Might as well try to be more positive.
...Although, with my sense of direction...

Eventually, one of the doors she opened led to what appeared to be the library. Stepping inside, she took a moment to take in her surroundings; she'd never seen quite this many books before. She bet that there had to be some good hiding places, too. Maybe I should just explore here for a bit.

Lilly was a little startled when he held his arm out for her to take. Did we want her to take his arm? She decided to take the risk and placed her hand on it, he didn't protest, so that must have been what he wanted. She nodded when he told he she'd love the garden. "Let's go see then, shall we?" She asked, letting him guide the way. He really was handsome, he had nice features and a nice smile. She realized she was staring before she quickly looked away, staring straight ahead and hoping he hadn't noticed.

Alex smiled as he lead Lilly down the hallway to the back of the mansion. She was pretty, but he had to be careful on what he said or did. He didn't want to scare her away. "I have apple trees, watermelon and grape vines and various vegetables growing back here. Along with various type of flowers and trees that bloom." He lead her around a couple turns before coming to a door. "Wait here." He left her as he walked to the door and pushed it open. "Welcome to the garden."

Lilly took a little peek at the man leading her to the garden, once again admiring the appearance of him. He was very handsome, and she smiled a little bit inside. She listened as he listed off the different things that he had in the garden, all of it sounding wonderful. She stood behind him as he pushed open a large door, and what she saw next brought a large smile to her face. It was a beautiful garden, lit by lanterns, and just as he said there was different fruit trees, vines, and a bunch of different vegetables growing in different places. There was even a couple places you sit sit down on a stone bench and admire the beauty.

"Wow." Was all Lilly could manage to say as she took in the view.

All the other girls left leaving her basically alone. In a house she didn't know, with out people she knew. Ali sat there stirring the leftover stew in her bowl. She wasn't going to get lost in this house but she kinda already was. It looked like why ever that was, is over so what could she do. Getting up from her chair Ali grabbed the drawing book and started to walk to the door that she hoped lead to the hall with her room.

She glanced back at the bookshelf behind her. Before she had been startled by the slamming door and the angry-seeming voice, she had been looking through the books. Well, that was a bit oversimplifying it, really. She had just casually been wondering if any of the books actually hid the way to open a secret passage and had gotten distracted by some of the book titles as she had been gently pulling on the rectangular objects to hopefully reveal such a passage. Upon opening a few of the books, she had gotten a bit distracted in previewing the stories, and...yeah...

"I got lost, and I thought this was a library, so I just thought that I'd have a look. Or is this your room and are these just your romance novel collection...?" It was a stupid thing to say, and she knew it, but Vivi couldn't seem to realize how to stop herself from saying it until it was already halfway out of her mouth. She still winced as she let it hang in the air, knowing that the books in her hand proved the statement false, anyway. Unless these books did turn into romance stories later on. She had only read the first few pages, after all.

Mira finally found her room, and began rummaging through her bags. Wrapped up in her favorite jeans, she pulled out her bottle of vodka and smirked, climbing onto the oversized bed and beginning to drink. Bit by bit, until she was bouncing up and down on the bed. And then drawing all over the expensive furniture with her lipstick. And then until she was bored being alone. She shoved the alcohol under her bed, put her sunglasses back on and peered out in the hallway with her lips parted. “Helluuuuuuu” she called softly, giggling a bit after before emerging fully into the hall and hoping to run into someone fun.

"It isn't exactly my library. It just my territory and books are important to me." Xavier walks over to a table and places the book down. "Just please tell me when you're coming here and as for the vast number of books they belong to the whole family I just take care of them."

It was a bit of a relief that he had just ignored her last comment, but Vivi still felt a bit hesitant. "What if I don't know that I'm coming here? What if a whim strikes me?" She inched slowly away from her spot at the bookcase, keeping herself turned to the person in front of her even as she moved closer to the bookcase a bit further away. "I'm not going to hurt the books, I just like to have alone time now and then. And I'd rather the books know where I am than the people, sometimes."

Alex nudged her, "Go on take a look around." He looked at her and grinned. He walked forward and started inspecting a tree. He then looked back and smiled at her before moving onto another plant. He did this until he was about four or five plants down, "You coming or not?" He laughed.

Lilly smiled slightly when he nudged her, telling her to go ahead and look around, but she was so taken aback by the beauty of it all, she just stood there and looked at everything, in a trance. When he spoke again, she smiled and nodded, walking to catch up with him. "This is.. gorgeous, Alex..." She said to him as she looked at the exotic plant they were standing next to. She knelt down to look at it more closely, a small smile playing on her face. The wind picked up, blowing her blond strands around her face. Standing back up, Lilly glanced over at him. "All of this is gorgeous." She said and behind him she noticed a small pond. She walked over to it, circled around the pond was different bushes of flowers, a tiny waterfall could be seen. "Wow." She said again.

Lilly took off her shoes and sat by the edge of the gorgeous pond, dipping her feet in the water and giggling as the cool water tickled the bottoms of her feet.

Lilly smiled slightly when he nudged her, telling her to go ahead and look around, but she was so taken aback by the beauty of it all, she just stood there and looked at everything, in a trance. "Um...thank you. I think?" Honestly, she wasn't sure what to make of either comment, but she was glad that she would at least have access to the library. "I suppose I wouldn't know much about women and what makes them attractive. I don't think about it all that much." VIvi continued to watch the boy as he picked out his books and sat down, wondering a bit about him. He had seemed kind of strange at lunch...though, actually, lunch in general had been strange. Never mind specific people. "I guess...you spend a lot of time here? Since you take care of the books and such? There certainly are a lot here."

Griffin returned with his arms full of wood. He hadn't seen anyone and for that he was grateful. He needed some time alone to fight back the beast. He silently moved towards his work room. Maybe if he spent some time carving he could calm the beast. He didn't want to lose control the very first day.

"Your at the wrong end of the house if your looking for bedrooms." Griffin told her helpfully. "Most of the rooms down this wing work rooms. Like the library, studied, studios, depending on which of us has claimed the room determines the purpose."
