-=[6:00a.m. Forests of Grimsgil]=-

Early in the morning a horse drawn cart travels down the road on its way to Raven's Peek. All is quiet in the forest aside from the distant ping of hammer meeting anvil. Silus lay on the back of th cart looking up at the morning sky "Funny how calm and peaceful things are seeing how close we are to the Dead Lands" he said out loud not bothering to move himself. "Good your awake," Iris said from the front of the cart. "We are almost there and its your shift to be on watch." She said getting up and hopping into the back of the cart. "Right, right, you probably are a bit tired, I understand." Silus said sitting up. After taking a bit to readjust his gear Silus grabbed his javelin quiver and went to sit up at the front of the cart. "Thanks again for giving us a ride, not many people would travel this road at night." Silus said to the older man driving the cart. "Not a problem at all lad," The man answered, "You hunters do a great service to the land and I try to help out when I can. Besides I needed to make a delivery to Raven's Peek anyway and having some well trained guards made me feel a lot safer." He said with a grin "Well, I just want you to know I appreciate it sir." Silus said back with a grin before being told to shut up by Iris who was trying to sleep.

The cart carried on its path with little else being said for an hour before the wooden walls that surrounded the town of Raven's Peek came into view. Soon enough they arrived at the gate and were stopped by the local militia guards, that was until they saw the Order's Insignia Branded into Silus' shoulder plate and they quickly let them though without any other incident. Once inside the town Silus looked over at the elder man, "This is far enough, we can walk to the fort on our own." He said getting off of the cart and walking around to collect his things. Once he had gathered his equipment and strapped on his two bags of belongings SIlus took one of his javelins and poked Iris in the foot waking her with a jolt. "Time to get up, were here." he said as he saw her visibly angry. "I will get you back Silus, just remember that." she said as she got up grabbing her belongings from the cart. "Thank you again sir," She said to the Old man before turning away and walking up to the fort not even waiting for Silus. "Yes sir, thank you" Silus said again before tossing a small coin purse onto the cart. "Take this as payment please we insist." he said before making his own way to the fort not waiting for the man's response.

-=7:15a.m. Fort Raven's Peek=-

With the early morning gone things were already up and going at Raven's Peek. Christoth was hard at work in his forge working to fill a weapon's order that another branch had sent to him. While Heidrek had already sent his men out to start their morning drills he sat in the Forts kitchen preparing the morning meal. For the moment two teams inhabited the Fort Heidrek and his men, who were to stay behind to defend the fort and surrounding area and Silus' men, the "away team" who were just meeting up as a team for the first time. Although some of its members might had meet and worked together before today was the first time this team would be coming together as a whole. Some members of the team had worked with Heidrek before and were already at the fort, while others were on their way and would arrive some time within the day.

Iris was the first to arrive if only a few minutes before Silus but her entrance didn't go without notice. Christoth quickly got to a stopping point tossing the blade he was working on into the water barrel to let it cool before leaving his forge and coming up to Iris "Well hello there gorgeous, we don't get many female hunters around here. I am Christoth, allow me to serve you in any way possible." he said in a cool seductive voice. "Sorry muscle boy, not interested," She quickly said blowing him off. And before Christoth could even respond a big laugh came from the kitchen. "Already shot down my boy?" Heidrek said and called in a few of his men to take over the kitchen work while he went off to meet Iris. "Well little miss, you must be the Young Iris am I correct? Its good to have you here, our last medic was some poor soul who got nauseous at the site of blood. and from what I have heard you are quite good at what you do." The big man greeted her. The compliment made Iris blush a little and she smiled "Yes sir, I'll be sure to help out in any way I can." She said, "But not you," She quickly added looking back at Christoth who was just about to open his mouth again. "Whelp looks like I have been found out, I'm just gonna get back to work then. He said turning around and heading back to his forge defeated.

Then Silus arrived to the fort in time to see the defeated Christoth go into his forge, his gaze turned to Heidrek "Well if it isn't the Bastard of a Bear, I heard it was you who called me here. What has it been four years?" he asked walking up to the big barbarian holding out his arm to shake. Heidrek did the same grabbing onto Silus' forearm. "Ironguard wasn't it?" he questioned, "Those were the good days, I wish I could feel that Orc's skull crush in my hands again." he replied as the two men shook arms. "As for your placement, ya I recommended you take my place, you weren't a half bad leader back then, and you have been making quite a name for yourself. At least this way I can see to it that you don't get yourself killed biting off more than you can chew. Heidrek added before letting go of Silus' arm, "A few of your men are already here, I'm sure you will see them soon enough. But for now make yourself at home. go find yourselves some empty rooms upstairs and then get ready to eat." Heidrek said before returning to the kitchen. Iris looked over at Silus still being mad at him she stormed off up the stairs to find her room. Silus waited a bit to give her a head start before going to find his own room.

Adrian was cleaning and polishing his weapons in his room when the two arrived. Quickly he strapped the longsword and flask to his belt and donned his robes. Strapping the bracers to his wrist he climbed from his window onto the roof. He sat astride it and watched the two come inside apparently unnoticed. "Its always strange to me how few people actually watch above them" he said to himself.

Fort Raven's Peek, 6:30 A.M.

Jagrid raised his hand, a bloodstained Xiphos was held high, nast black blood was dripping from the tip of it to the handle. There were black bloodstains on Jagrid's armor and helmet as well. The guard by the fort watchtower recognized the figure and shouted to let him know it was safe to keep moving in. Jagrid tiredly lowered his hand and sheathed his Xiphos after wiping it on his thighs.

He looked up at the watchtower guard as he walked by past him, it was Esmond, he smiled happily at the sight of Jagrid. He seemed excited to ask Jagrid of his latest kills, but noticed he was exhausted and not in the best status to chat. Jagrid just waved at him before entering the fort.

It was early morning, some of Heidrek's men were awake, stretching at the corners or lazily drinking mead. Jagrid dropped his huge shield by the entrance he came from, nobody would steal his sword, they were like brothers, it was too heavy anyway.

His thoughts raced to his son and wife back in the empire, they must have missed him now, been a long quite busy months. Jagrid wiped the blood off his helmet so that he could now see better and trudged to the kitchen. Hungry.

"Well Well, dawn hunting have we?" Heidrek remarked as he stirred a huge kettle over the fires, adding ingredients then walking over to the roasted beef.
"It was bloody nasty this one." Jagrid said, leaning on a counter and stealing a root of grape and swallowing a piece by piece,
"Orc?" Heidrek asked, his attention to the soup he was tasting.
"Nah, this was a possessed hermit. It was a bloody strong possession. The bastard's a walking gallon of corrupted blood," Jagrid said, he had finished his grapes and walked out the kitchen, "I am going for a bath."
"A new captain is arriving shortly."
"Then I better make my self less bloody, and more presentable, make my beef extra crispy."
"You didn't say please."
"Please."
Jagrid chuckled then walked into the bathing quarters.

Jack was down at the armory standing in front of a suit of armor. The suit of armor was massive in size. The biggest set Christoth made to date. He and Jack were working on a project for a set they were gonna make the iron golem. A massive set of armor that would be enchanted to boost your strength and stamina so long as you wore it. Jack was quickly cycling through pages. He was being rather loud as he talked to himself. "I just can't believe I have to multi enchant this thing already. It can be really tricky. I could just end up messing up the set entirely." He said as he continued to cycle through the pages. He then heard something about Christoth getting shot down. "That's odd. Guy is muscular as hell and he still got turned down. Today is gonna be a weird day." He then twitched his head a bit and refocused on the enchanting book. "Let me find it let me find it." He stated as he was looking for the section of multi enchanting. "I mean I've done it before. It would explain that mask. I just don't thinking I would make it my day job." He then stopped cycling through pages when he found what he was looking for. "Here we go. Now I just got to...." He said as he read through the page. "Oh ok. Yea that makes sense. This armor set might look a little weird. I mean, I can't just give it a big enchantment, only a small boost but I could always come back to it when I'm better." He then walked up to the suit of armor. "We'll I'm gonna have to do this with my hands so this could get dangerous. Especially because I can't really say those confusing words." He then rested his hands on the set of armor and began to focus. The enchantments themselves weren't difficult, it was the fact that they had to be together that was tricky. After the enchantment was done the armor looked a little slimmer and kinda like it had muscle of its own. "Not a big boost to make an obvious notice but it didn't blow up so that's good." Jack then walked out of the armory to see two people he hadn't recognized. "Christoth. I did what I could with the set for now. I'll come back during lunch to see if it still holds together." He then looked at the new girl. "Hi. My name is Jason. Welcome to The Order. I got a pretty bad splinter if you want to show me your skills." Jack said pulling off his right glove to reveal a splinter stuck in his pointer finger. His hand looked a little pale which was normal for someone who always wore gloves. His hand also looked really soft for most people.

"In the holy and righteous name of Rhon the Lifegiver and her Holy Majesty the Queen Erzabeth duMorthe the First, I Jocelyn Valentine, Reaper of Blackguard, the swift sword-hand of Rhon's merciless judgment, do hereby decree with oath that by my blade, all evil shall be vanquished, all wretchedness shall be drawn and quartered, and all who bear the mark of heathens and sinners alike shall be slain and cast forth into the eternal flames of Hell. Praise be to the Church, Heavens bless the Holy Queen, Strength be to Blackguard, and Glory in the Highest to Rhon the Lifegiver......amen."

Lifting her head, a woman with dark, auburn hair and a white streak through her bangs unclasped her hands clad in tight fitting black leather gloves, opening her amber shaded eyes to look upon the neatly erected altar that stood before her in her living quarters, a fairly sized golden emblem that represented not just the banner of her homeland but the very faith she was born into, the Church of Rhon the Lifegiver. At the foot of the golden cross were a few candles and some freshly cut branches of Brassenburge Olives. How quaint to find them growing here, but the rest of the land unlike Hieledran wasn't defiled with smog and toxic air pollution, so plants of all sort could flourish abundantly. Such a joy it was for Jocelyn to finally breathe clean air into her lungs, which by now were used to the dust and soot that once clung so ill-fully to them. Lucky her Jocelyn didn't develop the dying cough like most who lived in Hieledran, especially in the densely packed areas like Graychapel or Rhonshire. Maybe that was why Reapers wore those bandanas, such as the one currently wrapped around her face, painted to resemble the very face of death, the ultimate penance for all the wretched creatures of Hell, those tainted with sin and with evil and who would soon fall to her blade, or rather the blade of her beloved Erdrick, may he rest peacefully and may his honor carry on through the gleaming silver rapier at Jocelyn's side.

She unsheathed the blade once more as if to check it for minor imperfections such as scratches or knicks. There were none thankfully, but that wasn't the intention for which Jocelyn drew the sword. She wanted to admire it again, just as she admired and pined for the very man who once held this blade in his heroic grip. A stray tear fell from her cheek and soaked into the thick fabric of her bandanna, a quiet whisper escaping her quivering lips and permeating the mournful silence, "Erdrick....how I wish it were you and not I that carried this sword into battle. My beloved, rest peacefully with the angels, for in your name and that of Rhon, I will slay those who had taken you from me. A promise to the Heavens I shall make and I shall carry forth." Jocelyn returned the blade to its polished black scabbard that hung upon her left hip and rose to her feet, retrieving from her bed her wide brimmed hat and setting it atop her head, the brim now obscuring most, if not all of Jocelyn's face along with the bandana. Only her eyes were to be seen, fierce, animalistic eyes that only craved to be out there again, out on another hunt, out to vanquish.....the embodiments of evil.

The journey to Fort Raven's Peek was long, arduous, and not without its drawbacks. Though it had been two years since their departure from the port of Mandrale all the way through the Dead Lands, Jocelyn could still recall the damned and accursed pilgrimage as though it were merely yesterday. It had seemed yesterday anyways that she had lost Erdrick to that ginormous, horned fiend, a beast she had the pleasure of killing herself to exact her own vengeance....rather than the justice of Rhon. A rather grim sigh worked its way through her smog dusted lungs, along with a bit of a short cough, her nerves frazzling as she wondered if she did indeed catch the Dying cough of Hieledran. No, of course not. Maybe when she was but a lass in that dull orphanage she caught a taste of it, but as for the full brunt, she had to have been immune to it by now. Merely, Jocelyn shrugged it off, making her way out the door of her quarters and through the crumbling stone hallway of the old fortress. By Rhon, what were these heathens thinking taking refuge in a withered and ancient garrison such as Raven's Peek. The timbers were near rotted and there were rats scuttling all about the dust covered and cracked granite floors. But to complain Jocelyn shouldn't, for she was never to expect such lavish accommodations as say the living quarters for the Blackguard under the Church.

She stepped out into the sunlight, her black clothes already absorbing the heat emanating off its harsh rays and the intense light of the morning star rising coercing her to squint her eyes until fully they were adjusted to the sudden change in brightness, narrowing once more as a bitter scowl crossed her lips under her bandanna, all while she made her way across the fortress rampart and down into the main atrium of the derelict infrastructure of a military long passed. These men, what were they doing just lazying about in the wee hours of morn? By Rhon, some of these heathens were already heavily intoxicated upon mead, their breath reeking of fermented honey and alcohol. And to think our Holy Majesty requested these buffoons. It is not my place to speak against her, but is she mad? Honestly, what the bloody hell were we thinking coming here? Risking our lives for the assistance of a bunch of heathens. Her disapproving glare resumed upon the drunken men, her arms crossing to further display such disappointment she held. The new captain was to arrive soon, and if he were to see this, then certainly he would be having words. If not, then Jocelyn would certainly be having words, the new captain included.

Noticing a woman walk out below him Adrian smiled. It was Jocelyn, a woman whom he had only met a day earlier, and she seemed displeased. Adrian watched as the dark woman shook her head at the men who were already deep into their spirits. "Well what does she expect many of these men were but warriors and lacked any true discipline. I wonder should I attempt to befriend her? I don't know she doesn't seem like the friendliest, but still an ally would be most valuable." Adrian thought nodding to himself. Sliding down the rooftop before catching himself on the edge and dropping the last few feet he walked to stand beside her. "Morning ma'am nice to see you out do we have any plans for the day?" Adrian said in a friendly voice.

Iris sighed at Jack's request. "You seriously want me to deal with that?" she said in an irritated tone. "Here let me see," she said grabbing his hand and looking at the splinter while digging her other hand through the bag that hung on her side. Soon enough she found what she was looking for pulling a primitive pair of tweezers and a clear orb. She quickly pulled out the Splinter with the tweezers, and as soon as the splinter was free of Jack's skin the Orb began to glow a pale green and let off a green mist. The mist began to swirl around the "Injured" finger quickly closing up the wound left by the splinter. "Congratulations you are going to live" she said sarcastically letting go of Jack's hand. "Now if anyone else needs me I'm going to be asleep so try not to die for a few hours." She said out loud before heading to the upper levels to claim a room and catch up on the sleep she missed the night before. Silus then walked up to Jack "I swear she will be nicer after her nap. She is just grumpy because she had the night watch on our way over." he assured the man. Taking notice to the man's hands it was clear that he wasn't a fighter, or a blacksmith. But that only brought up questions of what he did do for the hunters. "Her name is Iris by the way, and I am Silus nice to meet you Jason." he said patting Jack on the back before heading upstairs to drop off his own equipment.

Soon after Silus came back down to the main level leaving his shield, spear and Javelins in his quarters for the moment, but still wore his sword in case something were to happen. He made his way to the grand hall and saw a group of men drinking meed. "Heidrek, you let your men drink this early? That is a bit sloppy even for a barbarian." He yelled knowing that Heidrek was somewhere in the kitchen. "Leave those men alone, they were night watch and finished their shift an hour ago. They earned a bit of a drink after work" Heidrek barked back without even taking a glance. With that being said Silus gave a nod to the men and continued on his way. Silus propped himself up against a door into the kitchen. "So who here is going to be on my team?" Silus asked while Heidrek started putting the finishing touches to his meal. "I'll point them out to you while everyone eats. Now make yourself useful and help me move this food out." Heidrek answered as he started to move out trays of food to be set on the tables. And it didn't take Silus long before he moved to help Heidrek set up for breakfast.

When Captain Silus arrived at Raven's Peak Hikisaka was in the watch tower on guard duty. He had only arrived a couple ago so a new captain didn't seem like a big deal. He watched the captain walk in. He would greet him later when he wasn't on guard duty. It was a nice day so it was easy for Hikisaka to keep his cool. Since arriving at Raven's Peak he had managed to keep his problem entirely in check. Granted there were moments that tried his patience. He was amazed by how disrespectful people were here. In his country no one were dare act like some of these men do. Getting drunk on duty, speaking rudely to ones superiors. This entire experience had been quite the culture shock for Hikisaka. Still it was not his place to speak out about it. He only hoped this new captain could instill some military discipline in these men.

So quick was the man to appear from behind her eyes filled with scrutiny and affixed with a rather grudging disdain upon such sloppy imperfectioned soldiers, yet unnoticed he did not go for Jocelyn could easily sense the young assassin trailing behind her coattails. "If that was an attempt to sneak up on me, Adrian, then I hope you would fare better sneaking up on a Blind Fangorn Demon." Rather blunt Jocelyn returned to the younger lad, a fellow native of her home Hieledran, as she could tell by the brogue of his accent. She sighed uncrossing her arms and placing her hands upon her hips, turning on the heels of her hunting boots to face Adrian, a good Reaper he would have made for Blackguard, though there were some.....anomalies that seemed rather vague to Jocelyn of the boy, namely....a rather pungent scent. "Could you believe these bloody heathens we must ally ourselves with? Such behavior I cannot stomach and neither would the Church accept such unprofessional demeanor amongst their ranks." A bit cold was her statements as a hand moved from her hip now to carefully adjust her hat. It was seeming a tad crooked upon her head. "As for plans today, I've only few, go forth and slay the damned. I recommend most today should do the same, or rather they will just sit here gobbling meat and filling their bellies with refuse rather than their hearts with courage."

Laughing he replied "No ma'am that was not an attempt to sneak up on you, it just seemed like a more interesting route than the stairs." he then took a somewhat more serious tone "Im sorry ma'am I wouldn't know of the homeland I was raised abroad by a great man. His name was Jarik Von Carstein, and this was his sword." Adrian said lifting the sword slightly in its scabbard. "As for the matter of courage im afraid im just a humble assassin ma'am. I wouldn't know much of courage im no hero, I couldn't even save the one I loved" As he said this his voice was full of guilt and sadness and his eyes were cold and dead. It lasted but a brief moment however and he soon said "However if you would allow it id love to accompany you on whatever this days hunt may be, it would be nice to gain a little more experience".

"It's a pity you weren't born in the homeland." Jocelyn replied to Adrian. "Blackguard is always needing men such as you. You would do well if what I have heard about you is truth and not some ornately fabricated story." Still...that very scent lingered, a scent that caused a slight furrow in the brow of the woman as Adrian carried on the conversation, Jocelyn intently listening, all the while trying to fathom that mysterious musk emanating from somewhere, or rather someone. This scent, she knew of it, but not of its origin. And it was not an overpowering scent, but rather it was difficult for such to not catch the nose of a passerby. Odd...I recognize this odor, yet I can't seem to place my finger upon it. Adrian, the lad is quite suspicious. I've noticed his uneasiness upon nights of a full moon, the tense of his youthful muscles, the apprehension showing visible among his sullen face. I wonder.....could it possibly be.... No...no of course not. What fool would allow a creature such as that amongst a battalion of hunters? While she pondered upon this, the rest of her attention remained with Adrian, her answering after Adrian mentioned that he couldn't defend....someone he loved. "I see..... I suppose we are none too stranger to each other now, for even I....I have failed to do the same. Although, it was Erdrick who was protecting me." Empty her voice had sounded, almost choked as she could feel the hot sting of tears welling in her eyes at the mention of Erdrick and....of his sacrifice. Calmly, she wiped a tear away on her gloved hand, resting it gently upon the hilt of Erdrick's rapier, Aquilius. "He had given his life for me and for his brethren, but.....the life offered should have been mine. We are never born heroes, nor are we meant to be, Adrian. What makes a man a hero is simply what he does, and that is die, for his Queen, for his God, and for those he deeply cherished." A bit of a wry smile found its way across the woman's lips, a subtle show of approval towards Adrian's request, "You seem to be more disciplined than these few ruffians, so I would be honored for you to join me on today's hunt."

He listened to her and smiled at her words. "Wise words befitting a woman of your status" he remarked. A flash of silver revealed the blade from his right gauntlet as it shot forth from where it had been concealed beneath his wrist. "So Jocelyn what shall we be hunting today? My blde thirsts for the blood of monsters. I shall paint these holy ruins with their essence." he smiled somewhat sadistically staring at the blade as he said these things. Realizing his lapse in bearing he concealed it immediately and concealed the blade again, it seemed to almost vanish into thin air, but to any true watcher they would see it disappear back under his wrist. His left hand rested on the hilt of the longsword as he stood to the side and swept his hand in a gesture to Jocelyn to lead the way.

After the food was set out Heidrek rang a bell signaling that food was ready. He saw that Jocelyn and Adrian were getting to leave and signaled over to Silus, "Those two are part of your team, go catch them before they take off." the old barbarian said watching over the men as those who were outside on the field started to get ready and returned to inside the keep to eat. Silus nodded and went off to catch up to the two. As he came up he overheard a bit of their conversation, "So a non-contracted hunt? is there anything good out there to hunt?" he asked. "So I heard something about a new Captain coming in today, either of you hear anything about him" he continued to ask wondering what his own "story" was around with the troops.

Hearing the dinner bell Hikisaka climbed down the later of the guard tower. He then walked into the food hall to and saw everyone including the new captain who just came in. This was a good a time as any to introduce himself he thought as he approached Silus. He tapped him on the shoulder and spoke. "Greeting's sir. It will be an honor to serve under you." He bowed in respect. "Think of me as a sword to be wielded against the enemies of The Order."

Jack sat there and watched as Iris did her 'work' on the splinter in his finger. After she was done and walked off Jack sighed. "Well there's that now." He was then approached by Silus who mentioned she would be much better after her nap. Jack chuckled. "Guess beauty sleep is important." After he watched Silus leave he heard some woman who was part of the blackguard making comments and complaining about the people here. "And here I thought that new people would liven up the place." He said as he walked up stairs to grab one of his books. After he had grabbed a book of his he heard a bell ring. "Well I guess that's how were gonna introduce the new people. Eating at a table always sets things right." Jack stated in a sarcastic tone to himself. He walked back down stairs and headed toward the table. He picked a seat that people weren't around and sat there. He perched over a bit opening his book and began to read. "Hey Christoth. I actually had a neat idea for a set if your up to hear it."

Though a bit perturbed by the bloodthirst that seemed to flicker like a candle's subtle flame in the man's eyes, Jocelyn was about to answer Adrian upon what sort of foul monstrosity would be their pleasure, no...rather their task for killing today, when a man soon approached from behind him. One look upon the rather muscular red haired bloke, and Jocelyn could easily confirm that this warrior, about as ragtag and unkempt as the others, was their appointed captain. So far, these fools have made a rather negative impression upon the more refined Blackguard Reaper. This man, did he honestly believe that Jocelyn was a fool and did not see through his sarcastic ruse. "Are you entailing that I do not know your name." Rather grim the woman spoke to Silus. "For I am not unwise of who you are, Captain Silus. The hunt shall be decided by whatever means, though I as much as the next hunter who gathers here at this.....adequate excuse for a fort would welcome a challenge any day by the likes of those inhuman abominations that but creep from the Dead Lands. It is the sole duty of Blackguard to Her Holy Majesty to see these vile beasts to their death, but we shall act accordingly as disciplined soldiers....and not a surly group of ruffians."

Jagrid was done bathing himself and cleansing off unholy demon blood from his chest and abdominal muscles. He got out of the hot shower and dried himself with a fancy bit of cloth. He got into his spare armor, a clean one, but he had forgotten to bring his spare helmet from the blacksmith as it was repaired.

He decided to walk downstairs without his iconic helmet this time, his bright braided hair breathing air and his emerald eyes beaming into faces as he got down the stairs.

A redhead warrior could be seen, he was standing with two other Order warriors, Jagrid knew of them. He heard Jocelyn's complaints and laughed to himself as he walked into the tables. The bell had been rung so that means breakfast was being served.

Jagrid decided to sit opposite Jack Marverous, the post's very own enchantment expert. He and Jagrid were quite the good companions, not necessarily friends but more like breakfast buddies. He greeted the shaded enchanter with a smile, "Morning Jason, looking dashing as usual."

Jagrid then looked over his shoulder, Jocelyn was still complaining and speaking atop her nose, Jagrid decides to tease her and yelled "MORE MEAD TO THIS TABLE HURR'."
He then smiled across, only now he realized that the redhead might very well be the new captain, he didn't concern himself, he turned back to Jack and nodded to his remarks.

As Hikisaka came up and greeted Silus as Captain he gave a frown, then with the added bit from Jocelyn he sighed, "No I don't play you for a fool, just was trying to see what my reputation was before we got down to the grit of it." he confessed, "But I think you should wait on your hunt for the moment. Go take some time to eat and then we shall gather my team in the courtyard. I wan't to see what my team is capable of before we leave on our mission tomorrow. But don't worry, once we get out onto field work, you will see just how skilled our men are, as well as have your fill of blood." He assured before turning back to the table. Silus went to Heidrek again whispering into his ear before taking a seat next to Jagrid. "Now that is a fellow I could never forget. How have the years been Jagrid, I haven't seen you since that damned Orc Warlord tried to stake a claim within the Empire. You know I always wondered, did you get pay from both the Hunters and the Empire for that job?" he asked while starting to load up a bit of a plate for himself.

Chistoth came out form the Forge soon after the bell rang taking his seat next to Jack. "You and your Enchantments. Its almost like every time I see you its "Enchantment!" But lets hear it what do you have planned this time?" he asked Jack while starting to grab some food of his own.

Atticus rode on his brown mount, Roscoe, with his deep black cloak blowing gently in the wind. His hood and mask was up, shielding his face to the cold sting of the wind. The sun had been rising as he approached the gate to Raven's Peak. The guard stopped him for a bit, but after some conversing, the charm of Atticus pulled through and was allowed entrance.

When he rode up to the fort, he was somewhat surprised at how easy it was for him to enter. There didn't seem to be a guard and he tied Roscoe up to a post as he ventured into the fort. Sound came from the dining hall and he guessed that that's where he was supposed to be. When he entered, his hood and mask came down while his brown eyes scanned the room. Taking in the scene, he'd heard someone referred to as "Captain."

That's who I want.

His robes reaching the floor, Atticus walked to the Captain and waited for him to see him. Once he'd seemed to have the Captain's attention, Atticus introduced himself with a slight head bow.

"Hello. I'm Atticus Euronsfyr. I have reason to join the Order and you have a reason to recruit me. I'd appreciate if I were to be considered."

He waited for a response while maintaining a polite smile and eye contact.

Jack was sitting at the table reading his book when he noticed Jagrid sit across from him. He then heard Jagrid comment about him looking dashing. Jack let out a chuckle. "Yea. Your muscles never seemed so intimidating before. Have you done you five thousand push ups for the day already?" He said in a joking manner. He then turned to see Christoth sit next to him. Then he listened as Christoth talked about how enchantments were all really the only thing Jack talked about. "I'm an enchanter. It's what I do. Anyway..I got to thinking. What if we made a light set with a bunch of hidden weapons and such and then I cast the same enchantment that I used on my mask? You wouldn't even know what the person has equipped until you actually fight them. It would make for a nice surprise right? Besides." He said pointing at Christoth. "That big ass set of armor I'm working on now was your idea. Don't act like I'm the only one who wants to have some enchantments. Hell...I bet ole Jagrid here would love to have a heavy ass set of armor that makes stronger and allows him to last longer in a fight. Damn, he is always up front anyway. We could always have him test the suit. His biceps are bigger than my head anyway."
