The two heads of the school were walking down the hallway as they headed for the front office to plan the day, Akira as always was wearing red cloak with the hood down.

Eddie Homes

Eddie was resting his back again the wall as he waited in the local neighborhood. He then looked at the cloak mounted on one of the poles. "This looked like the time, I saw in my vision. "Hopefully. it will happen today." Eddie told himself before sighing. A elderly lady then came from around the corner, walking peacefully before a Juvenile delinquent ran out from behind her,scratched her purse away before pushing her against the wall, he odiously didn't care for the old lady health as he begin to run off without looking back, through he saw this coming this angered him. Eddie then move into his path while the theft tried to evade him by going running through the street. Eddie didn't even hesiate knowing how this will. Eddie then cough up to him end the other end of the street, and leap forward to tackle him down slamming into him and catching his right arm on the way down. The crook then groan as he hit the ground before he start to struggle, but think to his Jr detective training Eddie was able to stay on top of him before some on looker came into assist. The crook then found his hands zipcuffed behind the pole behind. "Are you okay ma'am" Eddie asked the elderly women calmly. "Wow my hero, where were you when I was younger." The elder women flirted. Eddie couldn't help but blush a pink tilt while his hands scratch behind his head, he didn't know what to say.

Evelynn "Eve" Jameson

Eve was in the scientist room working her on her school project, a robotics AI controlled doll that looked almost liked. She took it upon herself to used a blow torch in the middle of the empty class room where the teacher was away, after all she did earn her trust by acting like the teacher pet in the classroom, that didn't mean she will be able to keep it for very long.

Coraline woke up to the sound of her alarm clock and stretched, dangling her legs off the end of her bunk bed. Above her, a million stars lit up the forever dark skies of her dimension, just the way she liked it. She jumped off the bed, and glanced at the figure still sound asleep in the bottom bunk. She reached over and shook her sister gently, who rolled over and opened her eyes sleepily. Annabel had always been sleepy, and even here, that didn't change.

"Hey, I've gotta head to school early okay? I'll catch you a bit later." Coraline hugged her sister, who had already drifted back into sleep, and proceeded to get ready. Once she was, she shut her eyes and imagined an exit from this dimension to reality, which was conveniently located in the senior boys toilets. She stuck her head out the exit, and found herself looking at the rather astonished face of one of the senior boys. She pulled herself completely out of the mirror, and sat on the basin just below it.

"S-so you weren't joking..." The boy stammered, wide eyed. "You can really go to another dimension?"

Coraline rolled her eyes - she was used to this reaction. "Yup, what did you expect in a school like this?" She grabbed the boys hand and pulled him into the mirror. As he gazed around the dimension in awe, she explained what was going to happen. "Right, the dimension will carry out whatever fantasy that you want. Time is relative here, so while I'll leave you here for an hour in earth time, here time will slow down or speed up to ensure that whatever you want to happen will occur in exactly one earth hour. You cannot die or be injured here, although you can experience these things if you wish for it. I'll come back for you in an hour." She spun, and left the boy alone in her dimension, which started to shift into the shape of a classroom. Coraline checked the time - 7.45am - and set an alarm for an hour so she'd remember to bring the boy back. She walked out of the bathroom, and looked around, bored. What should she do for an hour? She started to wander around the school.

Ace grinned as the freshman crowded around his table, he had arrived moments ago and already most of new students were having a run at his blackjack table, his favorite card game. While yes it is illegal he had yet to be caught and they would have little proof, as he took another groups of boys money they grumbled about him cheating but then he gave them it all back and offered double or nothing there deal. Smirking the boys assembled and played again promptly dealing Ace a jack and ace, he had won from the start. They left penniless now bored at his table he got out a new deck of cards. He smirked as he waited to see who would join him for a game, after all the people here were crazy and he loved it.

Around the hallway corner came the sound, the rhythmic *whack* *whack* *whack* of shoes upon the linoleum floor, that heralded the arrival of someone more spaghetti noodle than man. Then around the corner came the looming form of Slim Jim Bacon, walking at a pace that would outstrip most runner, with his dangling hair bouncing uuuup and doooown with every footfall. People saw him coming and got out of his way.

Jim didn't demand they move from his path. In fact, it made him uncomfortably self-conscious when they did. He just as well like if they just stayed where they were and let his step over them, which is how his friends back in Stone River had dealt with being in his way, but here it seemed like they were determined to be put out and make him feel rude.

In this manner he made his way to homeroom. He always made his way to class as soon as the doors where open, stopping just long enough to stow his umbrella in a locker, on the off chance that someone decided to jump the gun and start teaching early. This had never happened before, but if it did he wouldn't miss a thing. Besides which, he needed that time to negotiate the tricky prospect of seating. He claimed the desk at the very back, farthest from the window, and took hold of it with both hands with a firm grip. Then his legs, like octopus tentacles, rose up off the ground and pulled out the seat. They folded underneath him and let himself drop down into the seat, sitting on his legs as the remaining length folded over the back of the seat and dangled behind him.

This was the best way for him to sit. When he'd tried to sit normally, on his butt, his legs had either splayed out to his sides and got in peoples way or rolled out in front under the desk in front of him. Satisfied with his sitting arrangement, he pulled out a textbook and started going over the math that he'd learned yesterday just to make sure he had it down.

Alarm clock rings loudly at the table's edge. It's the collectors edition item from My Little-Sister is a Witch, which means it's your average pink alarm clock with printed image of said shows main-character on the clock-face. But thanks to man-child's obsession and the internet, it goes in three digit sums on eBuy. It's one of Kara Gildeons collections gems. It also isn't waking his fat ass up from the bed. Despite his own resolve and promises to go to sleep early and wake up fresh, he stayed up in early morning after casually checking one of the forums and noticing someone beat his highscore on Lovely Dovely Kissy Kiss 3 online dating simulator. Such disgrace could not be allowed and he needed to defend his throne. For his fortune, Kara managed to claim his throne before the sun rose. Barely.

Now he wallows in his bed, 2D-girl printed blanket pull tightly over his head. Eventually he gives up and kicks it off, grunts displeased and places his glasses on his face. At least he prepared his clothes yesterday as when he stops the alarm and looks the time, he moves amazing fast for man of his size. Skipping the breakfast and other morning activities he rushes down the stairs and out of the door.

"I'm late! I need to run! I need to run! I need... a taxi." Kara reaches the sidewalk before he needs to stop to catch his breath.

"Crap, I don't have money left. I invested my last cash to comics. No choice but to run. It will be good for me. I need to lose few pounds anyway. Heh heh.

How am I kidding?! I'll never get there on time! Or alive! " Kara shouts desperately as he thunders down the street.

Coraline glanced into a classroom nearby to her, which had a bunch of younger guys had wandered out of, who seemed to be complaining about losing all their money. Curious, she poked her head in, and her eyes fell upon another student, who was pulling out a deck of cards with a smirk on his face. Figuring it could help pass the time, she wandered up to the table, and folded her arms across her chest. "Hey what are playing there?" She queried, wondering if she could possibly earn a little more money than anticipated today.

"Blackjack my dear, feel free to pull up a seat, stakes are however high you want to set them. Oh and I'm Ace Spades by the way sweetheart." You can almost swear you see his shadow tip it's hat to you as he cuts and shuffles the deck. "Please pull up a chair, we can play blackjack or anything else you want to bet on for that matter." He smiles then stops smiling looking you over. "Unless you would prefer to hear your future, I can change around a little to if you want, just beat me in a game of blackjack and it's on the house." Okay that time you swear saw his shadow give him a high five. He just smiles again shuffling the deck over and over waiting for an answer.

Coraline eyed Ace's shadow warily - she could have sworn it had just moved. But then again, in this school, she honestly wouldn't be surprised. Figuring a game of Blackjack couldn't hurt, she pulled up a chair. Admittedly, she was also fairly curious about what a fortune telling session would yield, although she doubted its credibility. "I'm Coraline Lee, nice to meet you Ace. I'll give you a game of blackjack - that fortune sounds interesting." She rummaged around her bag, and pulled out a ten dollar note. "Shall we?"

Grinning Ace dealt the cards two apiece and both face down. He stopped dealing placing the deck down on the table he checked his cards. He stopped and gave a smirk and asked "hit or stay Miss Caroline?" He spoke softly and delicately like a man twice his age playing Las Vegas.

Coraline picked up her dealt cards, keeping her face perfectly blank. She was fairly pleased with her hand at the moment, although she frowned slightly hearing Ace mispronounce her name. That was always irritating, no matter how smooth he was talking at the moment. "Its Coraline. And hit, thank you."

Gently he pulled the top card off and placed it beside your other two cards. He wondered if she had figured out he had messed up her name on purpose just to get a read on her. It worked perfectly, he had read now for the finish "Coraline, another or are you happy with your cards?" He said checking his once more his face still with a slight smirk.

She picked up the card, and nodded in response. "No, I'll stand thank you." Ace seemed confident, Coraline noted. But of course, that could be a bluff. She'd find out soon enough, she supposed. Losing the bet probably wouldn't bother her that much at the moment - she was going to get paid soon enough from her client today anyway.

Standing on his hand he placed a hand over his cards smile coming back "Alright let's see what you got." He grinned staring right at you he flipped his hand over revealing a ace of hearts and eight of spades, nineteen. "Your go Coraline, can't wait to see what you have." He gently leaned back waiting to see your hand, he must admit this had been more fun than those boys.

Faeya sighed as she sat at her table. She looked up when she saw a girl come up to her table. "Are you the one that can tell emotions?" Faeya looked down and nodded. The girl smiled and said "could you tell me what this guy feels towards me?" Faeya looked up at her and said "you want me to invade someone's privacy for your personal gain?" The girl's jaw dropped slightly and said "n-no-" Faeya interupted and said "then just talk to him." The girl sighed and nodded before walking away.

Roland had already dropped his bags in his locker and was greeting people in the hallway with a smile and either a, "Hey there" or "How are you?" and usually got smiles back.

There was still time before his first class and he decided to hold off on going to the home room just yet. Instead he decided to work on his balance some more and started walking on his hands through the hallways.

Coraline couldn't contain her smirk as Ace revealed his cards. She placed her own three on the table, the ace of spades, six of hearts and three of hearts, for a grand total of twenty points. "I guess I win then." She said with a small smile. "Good game though - it was fun."

Ace nodded "Alright, you can take the money and I'll see if I can read some of your future, now mind you this is a possible future, it's not set in stone." He pulled out another deck of playing cards these seemed different almost ethereal. "Oh and keep the Ace of spades, it's yours now. Now take three cards, I can't see them but they will tell of three event of your future." He holds out the deck in fan shape they glow faintly "Take your pick of your futures Coraline."

Usually, Sebastian preferred to sit outside until the bell rang. Being outside made him feel more at ease, and to get himself together. But it was only the second week, and people would still try to take his seat in homeroom. It was a nice seat, sitting against the window in the back row, and it was one that was hard to get. So instead he found himself sitting in homeroom defending it, doing his daily tarot reading.

Number 07, The Chariot. Today was going to be a good day. If he saw any spirits, at least it would be on his own terms, a rare event. He knew some people looked down on him for believing in his readings, but they had never led him wrong before. If the powers that be controlled them, how could they possibly be wrong?

Sebastian sat back in his chair, shuffling his cards and laying out various spreads. When he didn't sit outside he didn't get as much business in the morning, but sometimes people still found him in here. He didn't care too much about it though. He was a morning person, and was usually in a good enough mood to do card readings for free in homeroom, as long as he could choose the spread. It was a nice way to practice.

Coraline placed the winnings into her wallet, before picking up the Ace of Spades and studying it. Why was she supposed to keep it? A deck short of a card usually wasn't overly useful. Glancing over it, she could see nothing strange about it, so she decided to place it in her wallet anyway - surely it couldn't hurt. She then turned her attention to the new playing cards, taking note of the fact that they were glowing slightly. That made whatever fortune that was to come seem slightly more valid in her mind, considering the school she was in and all. She reached out and pulled out three cards from the fan, two from the left and one from the right, before laying them down on the table - the nine of spades, jack of diamonds, and five of hearts. She glanced at Ace curiously, to see what he said about them.

Ace muttered something under his breath and flipped each card over the back were gone and they now shows a glowing shimmering back each one swirling and moving. "These are the best thing I've ever won, they allow me to peer into possible future event and see what shall happen. Touch the glowing backs and they will show you the future, But the cards you pick show certain kinds of events. The nine of spades will tell the of the truth you cannot face, the jack of diamonds will show you that which will bring you wealth, and the five of hearts will show you may just yet claim your heart." He sat the glowing deck down and waited for you to touch the glowing three in front of you.
