EDIT: Anyways, my RPing style generally requires an existing framework to write something.
Can you give me a certain scenario you need me to write for?
With that I can throw you together a sample rather quick.

Those who have made second characters I've allowed to skip a second sample and @Zarkun is in another RP I run, so I know what his posts are like (although I would still like to see one completed, hint hint...)
I've already given up trying to enforce the rule that the last three or four people have missed, but the RP sample is as important as personality and bio. It's not as though it has to be long, though I prefer roughly one post's worth.
Hm... The base scenario was something they were doing before the war, so in this case maybe how he joined the Militia or got transferred to Squad 4?

Then wouldn't it be easier to check my posting history? It isn't like I joined RPGuilds just yesterday.
Also that description you gave is still too vague. I need something like an actual scenario. I can make up mine but that'll feel hapzard and floaty for me. It won't connect to practically anything. Which leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
If you want sample at all costs I can just copy-paste my would first post in the IC straight to my CS.
So I don't see much point.

To be blunt, its a test to ensure that people have the creativity to contribute meaningful situations to this RP. If someone can come up with an interesting and engaging sample from a vague scenario, then I can rest easy knowing that they can take some initiative in the RP itself instead of just following along behind the others. I could stalk you, but something doesn't sit right with that either; it's like reading through someone's CV.

Just do the RP Sample? Really not that hard. Just a day in life before the militia, what ever it was. Plus GM's word is law in his/her RP, I'd say do it if you want in.
