Ben utilizes Estella's hesitation, leaping forward and knocking her to the ground. He uses one hand to keep her from hitting her head on the ground, and holds the blades of his other forearm against her throat. He growls, "Are you trying to trick me?"

She is taken down easily and looks at Ben in surprise. "What areyou doing?" She realized she was speaking. Attempting to use her telepathy resulted in failure. "My telepathy, it-its gone."

"You aren't a bother" kalinda said, looking about. "Doesn't look like theres anything to tidy up, so no. Is there anything you would like to do?"

Ben loosens his grip slightly and says, "What are you talking about? I warned you. And what do you mean your telepathy isn't working?"

Griffin looked around. He rarely did anything. His job was to guard Zack. He had never spent time doing anything else. He had no idea what activities would be enjoyable. Ask her to read to you. Zack suggested. "Will you read to me?"

"Ben, you're scaring me. And I mean I can't use my telepathy. Something is blocking it." She looked down and noticed her body was different. That would have to addressed later though because right now she needed to convince Ben that she was who she said she was.

Ben gets off of Estella and slowly backs away toward the discarded branch. He asks warily, "Then why were you referring to yourself as Commander Kuinu?"

She sits up and examines what had happened to herself. "What?" Looking confused something suddenly invited to her. "Wait, Commander Kuinu? Oh no, that's bad. What else happened?"

"I do not know. Maybe something with adventure." Griffin was glad she wasn't weirded out by Zack's suggestion. Other the music or another movie, they had no idea what choices there were to choose from.

Ben's suit fades away as he answers, "You basically told me that Estella's memories were being restricted because they weren't needed since you were now a soldier. I asked you a question, which you refused to answer. I warned you that I'd treat you as if you were a threat if you didn't prove otherwise, but you continued to defy me."

"Okay, lets see what I have" kalinda said, going over to a shelf with books, and becauss it was a favorite, and she hadn't read it for a while, she chose the hobbit, before going and sitting down.

Griffin sat next to her. He studied the cover of the book. "What does it say?"

After examining her clothes she looked distraught. It was beginning to become clear to her what happened. Standing up Estella put a hand to her face. "I can't believe this. I heard rumors but... Ben I'm sorry. This is because of my father."

"The hobbit" kalinda said, "you really don't know how to read?" She asked

Convinced that he wasn't going to be attacked, Ben kneels next to Estella and says with a smile, "Have you even noticed that you've been talking?"

"There has never been a need to read to do my job." Griffin explained.

"Right" kalinda sais, opening the book to the first page. It was well read, worn, dog eared pages. She licked her lips, then started to read

Griffin closed his eyes and listened to Kalinda read. No one had ever read him a story before. He had come along after Zack's parents had stopped reading to him. Zack often tried to share stories with him, but Zack was not good at reading outloud. Griffin found himself liked being read to.

Estella nodded and looked at Ben again. "Now I do. And I know why too. It's because you were in the room with me when it scanned us. Your ability to speak was imprinted on me when I transformed." She sighs and looks at her hands. "That thing was supposed to be banned. It's dangerous."
