Anthony parks the car in the driveway and answers nonchalantly as he exits the car, "Haven't you ever heard of planning for the future, Ms. Rayne? I know this might be hard for you to believe, but I would like a family some day. Please follow me." He leads her into the house, the doors unlocking and opening as he nears them. Once in the dining room, he gestures to the table and says, "If you'll have a seat, I'll be back soon. Don't bother trying to go into any other rooms that have a door. The doors are locked and can only be unlocked by people that I've entered into the DNA scanning system." With that, he walks away to gather his notes from his room.

Kijani called after him with a half grin. "You're no fun, Anthony! Can't a girl snoop properly?" Still- a DNA coding system, that was pretty damn good tech. She wondered how much that cost, and if it was hackable... She settled against the chair, thinking about what he'd said previous to that. Family... she'd never really considered it. A dull throb started beneath her scar. Even without her... injury, there was still marriage. Adoption. Maybe... She gritted her teeth against the growing pain, and rubbed her forehead slightly. "Get it together, girl..."

Bruce nods, "Then I suppose there's no point in bringing him along. Everyone that goes will need a clear head. If you need to do anything to get ready to go, do so. We leave in twenty minutes.

John grins embarrassed, "Sorry, I would have come up, but I didn't know if that was against the rules, and I also didn't know what dorm you were in." He begins walking with Kalinda toward the parking lot and says, "I don't have the most expensive ride around, but it does the job. I hope you don't mind motorcycles."

After a few minutes, Anthony returns to the dining room and drops a two inch thick stack of papers onto the table. "I apologize for the low quality of some of the copies, but they're all legible." The papers he lays down on the table tell how both Luthor and Waller had connections with the group of villains known as the Sinister Six. They also tell of how once Luthor was elected as President, he and Waller decided to begin forming a top secret metahuman army to defend the world if the Justice League, Avengers, X-men, or various other "hero" groups ever went rogue. The project, known as the Alpha Initiative, would subject young metahuman "volunteers" to strenuous mental and physical testing, as well as a brainwashing technique with delayed effects. The tests informed Luthor and Waller of which subjects were the strongest and the brainwashing turned every child into an agent that could be activated at any time with the flip of a switch. Word of this project got out, causing Luthor to lose his presidency and seemingly an end to the atrocities. However, now that both Luthor and Waller were less in the public eye, they continued the program using staff paid using Luthor's vast fortune, ensuring secrecy. They became more aggressive, stalking children they thought had powers and, occasionally, downright kidnapping them.

"Do we met here or somewhere else?" Katherin asked standing to leave. The only thing she needed to do was let Jack know she was going to be gone for a bit so he would t worry.

As they arrive at his motorcycle, John hands Kalinda a helmet from a small case attached to the back of the bike. He sits down on and turns the key, starting it, then says, "You'll have to give me directions. It's been a while since I've last been in town for dinner."

"Meet me in the gym," Bruce says, then speaks louder as he continues, "That goes for you too, Sue."

Kijani read through the papers, slowly at first, but soon she was falling into the information. She didn't notice her hands starting to shake, when she read document after document, seeing redacted names, numbers, experiments and results... Her jaw was clenched tight, to the point where it should have hurt, but she was so detached from her own body that she could have taken a punch in the face and not noticed. "This.." Her voice sounded strange. "This is wrong." Somewhere in the house, there was a reeking stink. Copper and bleach... "This has to be a mistake." Her torso throbbed with pain.

Devika chuckled a bit. "Well, here is different. Everyone's got their own weirdness, so no one sticks out for having powers. But I've lived as a 'normal' girl for a long time. It sucks."

Kalinda nodded, putting the helmet on, before getting on behind John, "Okay" She said, bringing the way to the town to her mind, forming the directions quickly, "I can do that"

Austin sighs," it's not like it's easy though." He was unknowingly speaking Connor's thoughts. He shook his head," I've had enough anger in me for one day. I'm hungry." He grinned slightly, for he was generally always hungry. There was rarely a time that he wasn't at least a little hungry.

Connor nodded, "lets get some food then" He said, putting his phone away, unable to help but think why Kijani was with Anthony. He pushed those thoughts away

John revs the bike's motor before driving onto the road leading to the nearest town. He calls over his shoulder, "Hold on tight and don't be afraid to get close, I'm a fast driver."

"I'm rolling my eyes" Kalinda said back, but nevertheless wrapped her arms around him, leaning into his back as the wind buffeted her, to prevent her hair from whacking her in the face.

Kijani was breathing rapidly, nearly to the point of hyperventilating. Her eyes were fixed on the paper, but she wasn't reading it. She'd read it all- and like everything she read, each word was etched into her memory permanently. Now the words were bombarding her with their cold indifference, telling her the truth that she didn't want to know. Anthony's pheremones should have calmed her, but she was too panicked, too stuck in the flashback for them to work entirely. Her mind was half in the lab all over again, and yet half was pushing along toward a conclusion she didn't think possible.

Her grandmother had started Alpha. Her grandmother had continued Alpha. Her grandmother knew. Her grandmother had known. Her grandmother, the only person who had ever listened to her about Alpha, had known the entire time.

The other half of her mind looked around, golden eyes darting as she searched for a weapon, any weapon in the lab inside her mind. The stink of copper and bleach pervaded everything, and her hands balled into fists as she rose from the table, backing away. "G-get away from me!" Her voice was higher, girlish. "Stay away!" Anthony was in a lab coat, his face obscured by light.

As Kijani begins to flip out, Anthony sits down at the table and rubs his chin thoughtfully for a moment. He then leans forward, watching her with interest, and says, "Kijani, either answer my questions, or we'll restrain you and begin the tests once again. Understand?"

John speaks loudly so Kalinda can hear him over the sound of rushing wind, "What was that? You like wrestling at night? I guess we can do that later tonight if you really want to."

Kalinda laughed, shifting to poke him in the back, "Just shut up, and Drive, cheeky" She said, this time louder to be heard

Following Kalinda's shouted directions, they soon arrive at the pizzeria. John parks the motorcycle, then while waiting for Kalinda to get off, asks, "Why don't you eat meat? Do you think it's wrong or something?"

As Kijani begins to flip out, Anthony sits down at the table and rubs his chin thoughtfully for a moment. He then leans forward, watching her with interest, and says, "Kijani, either answer my questions, or we'll restrain you and begin the tests once again. Understand?"

Kijani stared at him, wide eyed. She was seeing him, but not truly. Slowly, she nodded. She was trembling from head to toe, gone from cocky young woman to terrified child in mere minutes.

"No" Kalinda said, getting off, taking the helmet off, smoothing her hair down, "It makes me feel sick. I don't know why. Just does. Its weird, I know"

"That's not weird, you were just born that way." He says while getting off the bike. As they enter the restaurant, he opens the door and asks, "So do you mind if I get some meat on my pizza?"

Anthony grabs a pen from a nearby drawer and begins writing on the back of one of his printouts. "I want you to tell me everything you remember, from when you were first selected for this program."

Kalinda headed inside, shook her head, "Not at all. So long as I don't have to eat it, I don't care" She glanced back at him and smiled, "I'm not a vegetarian by choice"
