Kalinda gave him the bag, getting off the bike, taking off the helmet. She headed to her dorm, opening the door when she got there. She left it open, turning the light on, then grabbing spoons and bowls, putting the ice cream in them

John follows Kalinda into her dorm, staring at her curves the whole way, but more subtly than he had during the previous days. "She's probably the first person to consider me a friend since I started coming here. It's nice." he thinks while they walk. Once the ice cream is dished up, John opens the can of whipped cream and sprays some on his bowl before offering it to Kalinda. He looks around at the sparsely furnished dorm and asks, "Is this all you brought?"

Kalinda took the whip cream looking about. "Yes" she said. It was mostly practical stuff. Except for her books and her guitar. "It's all I had to bring, really" she shrugged, and after spraying some of the whipped cream, she went and sat on her bed.

John glances around Kalinda's bedroom after following her and, unsure of where he'd be allowed to sit, sits on the floor. He begins to eat his ice cream and between bites asks, "Do you have a roommate?"

"Doesn't seem like it. At least, no one else has been sleeping here" she said, shrugged, "you could have sat on the bed tool

John stands and asks, "Can it hold me? I mean I way over three hundred pounds." He sits down on the bed gingerly, causing the frame to creak in protest under his weight. "I guess so," he says with a grin. "Do you want to change that? About nobody else sleeping here, I mean. Because I can do that." he says with a wolfish smile, his voice sounding like he was only half-joking.

"I thought they had a rule about none mixed dorms" Kalinda said, "and I thought you were more of a "spurr of the moment" like kissing me in the gym" she ate another spoonful off ice cream, watching him

John shrugs, "I don't think they would notice one night. And if I'm misunderstanding what you mean, I'm sorry, but kissing a girl by surprise is a lot different than trying to have sex without some sort of sign that it's welcome."

Kalinda blinked. Some sort of sign that it was welcome? What was she doing? Then she realized with some embarrassment that this could be seen as a date

She let her spoon fall into the bowl. "Oh" she said, setting her bowl down on the floor. "Um" thrown off balance, she had nothing. "John, I...well hell." She had never had a conversation like this.

John laughs, "Calm down Shorty, I was mostly just messing with ya. Don't worry, I know you didn't think of this as a date, and that's fine. I had fun."

"Mostly messing with me. Right" Kalinda said, "it was fun" she agreed, and smiled

He finishes his bowl of ice cream in awkward silence before bringing it to the kitchen sink. He quickly washes and dries it before returning it to where he had seen Kalinda fetch it from. He walks back to her room and says, "Well it's getting late. I better head over to the dungeon."

"You live in a dungeon?" Kalinda asked, standing up

John shakes his head and replies, "Nah, that's just what I call it. I live in the basement of the Academy's main building. It's pretty sweet, biggest student living area on campus. The furnaces are loud as hell though."

"Sounds...well good" Kalinda said "alright then, head onto the dungeon" she went to the door so she could shut it after him

John nods and speaks quietly for once in his life, "Yeah. Night." He walks away, slightly disappointed with the night's ending, and goes to his room where he promptly falls asleep.

Kalinda shut the door and sighed, leaning against it. She was such an idiot, wasn't she? But...how could she do anything, other then hang out with a guy, when contact made her empathic ability stronger? She already got overwhelmed so easily. She couldn't do anything else, until she knew she wouldn't breakdown, and cause an emotional overload in anyone she chose to sleep with, if she ever did.

She should have kissed him at least. Annoyed with herself, she snatched up her guitar, settling down to play it a bit. She wouldn't sleep much this night.

Music always made her feel better.

It was getting late. Satisfied with what she'd learned, however useful, 533 decided to go to her dorm room. The girls dormitory looked strange. A disjointed cylinder? Whatever, she found her room after figuring out the arrangement. Rather empty actually, but it did beat some of the cells she'd been in. Scouring the place for survalence devices she found nothing. Unless she missed something the place was clean. Sitting on the floor she leaned back against the wall and closed her eyes.

Phoebe stepped inside the cabin, going over to Sue and Katherin. she did feel better with them there, but still nervous, worried, and concerned, she picked up the vines she had been playing around with earlier. Something to keep her hands busy, as they waited for Posion Ivy to return.

When She could hear her mother coming, Phoebe went to the door of the cabin, feeling guilty, like she'd been conspiring against her. She stood unintentionally in front of the door, so that she was standing in front of her friends.

Kyra sat up in a tree outside of the girls' dorms. She was watching the sky, a blank look on her face. Anyone that knew her well would know that when she was like this, she was thinking about something a little too seriously.
