Kyra sat up in a tree outside of the girls' dorms. She was watching the sky, a blank look on her face. Anyone that knew her well would know that when she was like this, she was thinking about something a little seriously.

Having spent the majority of her free time working on her ship, Estella stepped out of a small building it had been stored in. She let out a breath of air and used a light breeze to cool off. Keeping her mind busy helped a lot with her condition. She was going to have to tell someone about this in the near future. Slightly agitated she looked up at the sky as well and spotted the Kyra in the tree. In the last 6 months Estella had never seen this person before. But the girl appeared to be occupied which suggested she was comfortable being at the academy.

Curious Estella approached her. "Hello . Um, who are you."

Kyra looked down out of the tree, hearing the voice. She smiled, sitting up. "Well, who are you?" she asked, wanting to know the other girl's name first. Her eyes sparkled, making her look a little less tired than she really was.

The smile and more upbeat demeanor set Estella at ease a bit. "I suppose I can tell you first. My name is Esuteruraru Kuinu. But everyone just calls me Estella. What about you, I haven't seen you around here before."

Kyra smiled and dropped to the ground, dusting her hands off. "I'm Kyra. You probably haven't seen me around because I've just got back from my home because I've been dealing with.... Family issues, if that's what you want to call it." she said, laughing a little.

If only it were that easy. "I can understand that. I have my own problems I'm having to deal with on my own because of my father." Estella frowns slightly, but briefly. At least Kyra seemed to be fairing better. "So you were here before I arrived then. It's nice to meet you."

Kyra smiled. "Yeah, I was." She held out her hand for Estella to shake. "It's nice to meet you too." She said.

Estella accepted the hand. It had actually taken her a while to get used to that custom. Such a simple gesture yet so foreign to her. "You've been gone a while then. So are you a powered or non-powered student?"

Kyra smiled. "Powered, what about you?"

"Powered as well. Where are yours from? I was born with mine, I'm not from Earth though. Not entirely sure how common being born with abilities are here." Estella shrugged and waited for Kyra's response. It seemed to be hit or miss how people reacted to her being an alien. Then again most of them just didn't like the telepathy she used to posses.

Kyra shrugged. "I was born with my powers.... I guess I'm one of the lucky ones" she laughed slightly.

"Care to demonstrate them? If you can anyway." She asked curiously. The abilities of people with powers on this planet were a lot more diverse than where Estella was from. So far that hadn't failed to surprise her.

Kyra smiled. "Sure, I guess..." She snapped her fingers and a flame lit on her fingertips. She smiled. She blew it out, then opened up a pouch connected to her hip. She waved a hand over it, water flowing out and following her hand as she waved it around slowly. She smiled up at Estella. "I guess you can call it the control of elements..." she said, returning the water back to the pouch. "I can do it with air and earth as well."

Raising an eyebrow Estella mimicked what Kyra did, though the water she used seemed to appear out of nowhere. She paused a moment before speaking. "Did you come from my planet or something? I haven't met anyone capable of controlling the elements like I do. Did you ever have telepathy?"

Her ability to raise volume made her able to perceive what was said outside the door. Batman was Phoebe's father.

That was so freaking cool.

Now, Sue had this look on her face whenever she gazed at Phoebe. The sort of look one also has with a phantasmic being. Phoebe was just as well as the next Dark Knight of a different kind, and Sue respected that. She was excited to see if this knowledge would change her!

She waved over at Phoebe to attract her attention. Sue raised her arm, placing her forearm to her face, an act of pretending there was a cape covering her face, and a look capable of the scrutiny beyond genius level. She playfully raised her eyebrows twice.

Phoebe laughed at Sue, and that was enough to get her completely at ease. She hugged Sue, "you're the best" she said

Austin nodded his understanding, watching Connor as he worked on the drawing. It was interesting to him, all the various parts that had to go into making it, when it would end up looking like a simple device. He leaned back, looking around the nearly empty cafeteria.

Connor finished the drawing, and his food, closing the notebook be said "do you want to do anything now?"

Kijani nodded, and picked up the sandwich, taking a healthy bite. "Three days? What should I prepare?" She should be at the end of her punishment by then. Maybe she could also swipe a sword from class. If things went well, she could return it before it was missed.

"Simply prepare yourself mentally and emotionally. We can't have you melting down any time you think of what Ms. Waller did, understand?" Anthony replies before asking, "Tell me, Ms. Rayne. Have you ever killed anyone?"

Bruce joins the girls in the cabin, watching out of the windows warily. "Girls, I'm not sure how well the missus will react to Phoebe's decision. Be prepared for anything."

Katherin nodded. She was confident that her abilities would be helpful. She looked at her friends and hoped there wouldn't be a battle, but she would be ready if there was one.
