Phoebe heard the footsteps stop, the cursed herself for a fool. The window, of course. Without waiting for anything to happen, Phoebe stepped out of the cabin, running fingers through her hair. "My friends found us" She said softly.
Posion Ivy stood frowning. "I doubt Wayne is a friend"
Phoebe sighed, "No, of course not, given that he is my father, and headmaster. You were never going to tell me that, I can see that now. These last few days have been both great, and terrible. I've loved being with you, but missed my friends terribly. I needed you when I was a kid, Mum, but....I need my friends more now. I need them, because they make me strong"
"You're not going to leave me!" It was said in anger, as she stepped towards Phoebe, hands out, as if to snatch her, and force her to say.
Phoebe held her ground, the tears pricking at her eyes, "Like you left me?" She said it quietly, calmly. "For 18 years, I waited in that orphanage, always expecting you to come, always hoping you would say screw it, I want my daughter, and stuff the dangers. I made my way for three years, living, surviving, and then found the academy. For the first time in my life, I belonged! And then you came. That child within me went, because in some way, I needed to. I love you. But this is my choice!"
"NO! You're mine! You are not leaving! We can be something the world has never seen together!"
"No, Mum. I'm too good to be bad" Phoebe side stepped her, flinching slightly, but her mother didn't go for her. She went for the cabin. Phoebe spun, yelled out.
"You're not taking her from me!" she entered the cabin, towards the two girls
