[Mistress Dizzy]

Kijani looked mildly puzzled, before understanding dawned on her face. "Ah." She turned to the boys, smiling casually. "Be right back." She stepped down the stairs, gesturing slightly for Ben to follow. She slipped out of the classroom, hoping Ben would at least have the sense to be subtle.

Ben watches Kijani try to subtly slip out of the classroom. He shakes his head and chuckles, then bows to the other students as his suit morphs into a recreation of Barney the Purple Dinosaur. "I'll be right back." Once he's out of the classroom, he gives Kijani a chance to see his costume before it reverts back to the clothes he had been wearing before. "I don't think they suspect a thing."

[Mistress Dizzy]

Kijani looked stunned before she snickered. "That's cute, and I don't even mean that sarcastically. Three year olds must love you." She leaned against the wall and the smile on her face faded. "Well? Speak."

[Flood]

" Hello John. How are you doing on this fine evening?" Flood asked as he looked at John with a pleasant smile that said 'I will bring you unimaginable pain if you try and mess with me.'

Ben frown and tilts his as he says, "Someone's awfully edgy, aren't they?" He shrugs then continues with a grin, "But I can understand why, so I'll let it go, just this once. I don't know if Anthony told you, but I'll be helping you guys with your little problem. Is there anything that Anthony told you that he might not have told me?"

John chuckles, "We both know I'm the better fighter, little man. You may be better with weapons, but in a fist fight, you wouldn't stand a chance. Now, the grow ups are talking, so why don't you just shut your trap?"

Connor watched Kijani leave the room, and then moments later Ben leave with his performance of Barney the Dinosaur (Creepy, by the way). He frowned, but stayed in the classroom. What was going on? He sighed, shifting to talk with Austin, "if you want, we can work on the ear devices to stop sounds affecting so much after class"

Kalinda wrapped the shadows around her well, letting the shadows lengthen across the training room, towards Ryan. She moved with them, She decided not to attack with her empathic ability-she thought she might just cause herself to collapse right there if she did that. She used her telekensis to push at Ryan, but her strength was greatly depleted, and all she could do was send him stumbling. Cursing, she feel herself struggling to stay in the shadows. quickly she sent the shadows around him, wrapping then around his arms and legs. She managed to hold him like that for a few seconds, before tumbling out of the shadows herself, the shadows she had manipulated retreating. She fell to the floor, and it was all she could do to push herself up and stay standing.

She wavered, shook her head, and said, "I'm done. I can't go on. I'm exhausted" And she started out the room, stumbling slightly, and back to the classroom, flopping in her seat, she laid her head on the desk, closed her eyes. She didn't care if she got in trouble, she could barely move
without falling.

Phoebe watched the fights, focusing on Ryan's. She watched the girl disappear, watched Ryan stumble, then the shadows. She watched in some shock as the girl fell out the shadows, then declared she was done. She blinked, then since the fight was over, relaxed in her chair. She looked around at her classmates, thinking.

Devika shrugged. "Okay." She moved forward rapidly, and punched Kyra in the upper arm. She made sure to touch her bare skin, and with that little touch, what she'd been building was unleashed.Fear. Gut-wrenching, panic inducing, phobia level fear. This one had taken some time for Devika to build up. It wasn't that she wasn't afraid of anything. It was more that she couldn't nail down one specific thing that could cause her that level of blind terror. She'd finally made a decision on something less external and more situational, and that had worked fine.Her own fear was loneliness. Not just spending a night alone, but spending a life alone. Going day to day with no one in the world caring whether you existed or not. She didn't know what Kyra's fear was- but it would probably be very present once her emotional bomb took hold.Devika let out a breath of relief as the fear left her and transfered to Kyra. Her knees felt less weak, her stomach unclenched. She could feel the clamminess fading from her hands, and her pulse started to drop to a much more normal rate. She watched Kyra carefully to see how hard she was going to be hit. For all she knew, this could be Mimic all over again- or worse.

Kyra's breath caught in her throat. She started to shake and she fell back, scrambling backwards until she hit the wall. She folded her legs, grasping at her ears, mumbling incoherently. Her mind filled with it, the fear, and it had hit that one nerve she'd been trying to forget. She could feel it rising, making her go crazy once more. No, control it....You promised yourself you wouldn't go back... she thought frantically. Her whole body shook now and she closed her eyes tightly.

[Klyix]

"Well that's not very nice, you're annoying but I don't tell you to go away - often." She teased and then turned to look as John approached them. She rolled her eyes at the bravado between the two of them before interjecting. "Yes, yes, we know, you'll tear him limb from limb but he won't die. This really does not have a winner and neither would the fight, as you two have proven before I'm sure." She explained, very blasé about the whole matter. "Seeing as the ending is so predictable, can we just.. well, stop."

"Yes but who said we would get into a fist fight? Who said we would get into a fight at all? I could simply pop a smoke and kill you from a distance if I wanted to. But I don't want to kill you, it would be a waste of a bullet. Now let's stop the testosterone contest and watch the fighting, shall we?" Flood asked as he turned towards the fights once more.

John shrugs as he says, "Whatever you say, Kitty K—." He cuts himself off, then laughs as he says, "Sorry, I forgot. So how's life?"

She shook her head but didn't say anything or else he would turn his attention back to them, so she turned away from Flood to focus on John. "New rule, the only people who get to compare me to a cat are those that can make me purr like one." She said, arching a brow and leaning forward, before quickly returning to her original position. "Life is dragging on as usual, but I find ways to entertain myself." She smirked. "And how about you?"

John laughs at Kat's first statement, "Challenge accepted." He then shrugs as he answers, "I'm ok, I guess. I seem to have misplaced my powers though. How do you have fun? You always seem pretty bored."

[Klyix]

"Misplaced, that's an interesting way of phrasing it. I suppose you're social life has taken a hit, I mean what do you even do aside from cause fights?" The words may sound cutting but her playful smile suggested she didn't mean much harm. "Well that's because you only ever see me here. I'm not sacrificing puppies in my spare time, I'm sure I have fun the same way as most: good company, great music and fine wine or something along them lines."

"I work out a lot, even more than I did when we first met. Occasionally a cute girl will come in while I'm working out, and I'll spend some time with her. I'm a personal trainer for a couple of people, but other than that, I'm not much of a people person. Who do you consider good company? Any one from the Academy?"

"Could it be, is Johnathon Brock smitten? You'll definitely have to get out of the gym if you want to impress her and definitely fight less... unless she's into that I suppose. As for the company, it's anyone who can keep up with me, entertain me, I don't know.. You can find them in the dirtiest, darkest corners of a city or in the most blindingly beautiful manor in the countryside. I don't care where they're from, and I don't care how I just want to have fun. That said, most at the Academy never really seem to fit. I don't know whether it's a stubborn moral compass or not wanting to play with the daughter of a malevolent god, but such is life." She finished with a small shrug and no sign that it caused her any worry or distress.

Kijani raised her eyebrows. "Ah, that would require you to tell me what Anthony has actually divulged to you." She gestured for him to continue. Honestly, she didn't know what Ben needed to know, but she was certain Anthony hadn't told him the whole situation. She was going to have to pick and choose what she told him, as well.

Devika watched, her eyes worried for the girl in a raw panic in front of her. She turned to the teacher, looking out of the window of the training room. "Can we declare this a victory? She's suffering..."

Kyra shook her head, shakily removing her hands from her head. "N.... n-no....." she stammered, trying to stand up. She propped herself up against the wall and slowly stood up, he whole body trembling. She was slightly able to hold back the panic in her mind. She knew it was there, but she didn't acknowledge it. "No...."

Mimic opens the door to the training room but shakes his head while saying, "She's fighting it. If she wants to give up, she can leave the room. Don't block the door."

John laughs, "I don't think I was clear. It's not just one specific girl that I meet in the gym every now and then. There are several different girls that end up working out at the same time as me, but usually there's only one in the gym at a time." Then, with a wink, he says, "If you're ever lonely and want to play with someone, let me know."

Ben shrugs while saying, "He told me a few of the things his father and your grandmother had done, and he told me we were going to kill them. That's all I know."

[Avanhelsing]

Ryan looked confused. Did that count as a win? He had not wanted to hit a girl anyways. He did not care. Sure it was cheap she had just hit him. Whatever. He had not wanted to fight anyway. "So uhh what was that? She just quit? Whatever. I did not want to hit her anyway. " He said shrugging.

Jack sat in his chair looking bored out of his mind. He honestly was.

Kyra shook her head, shakily removing her hands from her head. "N.... n-no....." she stammered, trying to stand up. She propped herself up against the wall and slowly stood up, he whole body trembling. She was slightly able to hold back the panic in her mind. She knew it was there, but she didn't acknowledge it. "No...."

Devika nodded, carefully watching Kyra struggle, and then start to rise above it. "That's good! You're a fighter... mentally, anyway." She seemed to genuinely enjoy the fact that Kyra hadn't given in easy. "Come on, then. I want to see what you can do, too." She smiled very slightly.

Kijani nodded slightly. "That's pretty much the gist of it. This isn't going to be a neat and tidy mission. I'm prepping for the worst, but hoping we'll at least have the element of surprise on our hands."
