"It was fun, I loved it" Phoebe said happily "I now know what I can do. I just need to improve on it" she was full of energy now, and twirled a flower in her fingers, "thanks" she said, "I feel great now"

Connor watched the battle. "Well" Connor said softly, "that's something you won't see every day. Superman covered in plants"

Anthony stands, "Well, let's get this over with. Wish me luck! What? Nobody? Alright then." He strides confidently into the room with Superman. "Forgive me if I don't shake your hand. I'm Anthony Luthor."

“Ah, you’re Luthor’s boy, alright.” “So I suppose you have your father’s genius, what else can you do?” Superman said with arms on his hips on his signature pose.

Lex Luthor and Superman both have a rich history of rivalry between one another, a long-standing quarrel for who is the better person. Luthor was a benefactor to the Academy with his influences and wealth, so it was unavoidable that the two would meet one day once more. Superman was not a man of revenge, however, and viewed Anthony as another student that needed his guidance and education. He was willing to teach him, but he hoped Anthony would receive his good will well.

Anthony shrugs, his eyes beginning to turn slightly gold as he says, "I'm mostly just brains. Are you saying that's not good enough? That's an excellent message, teacher."

Kit had lulled off having already figured out what his plan against Mimic was. It was only when people started getting excited that Kit rose his head to see what the commotion was about. "Oh, Wow." It was Superman. Here was a man that people knew about just as much as they knew about the x-men, and he was just one guy! However, when he asked for someone next Kit got worried. Phoebe volunteered at that point which Kit was grateful for meant that he didn't have to go up first against man of steel in there.
The fight between them however did not alleviate his fears as he watched him rip apart vines, laser a tree, and a.. was that a fly trap? This would not likely end well for him, not to say he wasn't going to try. But he'd certainly let others like the rich kid go before him so he could gather up some courage. Oh how kit longed to have a drink of beer from his dads fridge, not that it would help but it would certainly make him feel better.

The man of steel noted Anthony’s sudden change of eye colour. Superman was a devout fighter, training both his physique and mind. He recognized this as a sort of hypnotizing ability. However, as a result of training and acquiring the Kryptonian mental martial art form of Torquasm Vo, disallowing most mental attacks and creating mind blocks to defend his mind.

But he realized it wasn’t just a mental attack. It felt organic. Still, the mental will was as forged and formidable as he was in physique and strength. It was not impossible for Superman to break through Anthony’s spell of inducement.

“I’m accustomed to mental attacks, Anthony. It is a good ability, just not on me. You may call out the next one, please.”

"I'll go!" Flood said as he literally jumped up from his seat and desk, and ran over to Superman. "Nice to see you again. Did you ever get the pink out of the suit?" He asked as he backed away a little and settled into a stance built for quick strikes and evasion.

Superman extended his hand, shaking Anthony’s with a strong grip. He leaned forward to his ear, and said “Still not working. Come on, let’s go, and call in the next one.” Superman returned to the middle of the room, arms folded, noticing a bit of vine stuck on his collar.

"Come on, let's go.", unscathed by the punch, flipped Anthony around, and walked him back to the classroom.

In the classroom, "Next please," he cried.

Anthony spins around and backhands Superman. He stares the Man of Steel down and growls, "If you think your physical strength intimidates me, you're wrong. My intelligence alone puts me as your equal, and I expect to be treated as one. Understand?"

Deserai walked into the compound her bag slung over her shoulder. She looked around a little confused at all the space on the campus. How the hell am I going to find my way around this place? She thought to herself. She looked up hesitantly and tried to refocus. "All I have to do is get to the dorms first." She spoke softly and then walked forward a little more before throwing the map into the air out of frustration.

Anthony frowns, "I'm aware that you're blowing me off. Luckily for you, I'm tired of this class." He pulls a chain necklace from under his shirt, attached to which is a small, kryptonite dagger. He walks back into the classroom. "When's this class end?"

"If intelligence puts you as an equal to the man of steel, then I muat be equal to him to" Connor said, almost lazily when in fact he thought the kid was a stuck up jerk
