Once all of the students were wearing the device, Minic taps a few buttons on the computer on his desk. Moments later, the students find themselves in a large, open field. Trees and other foliage grow thickly at the borders of the arena while a briskly flowing creek divides the area in equal halves. An inpenetrable force field forms the boundaries of the arena, starting just beyond the trees and extending three hundred yards into the air, forming a dome. The students are grouped with their team mates, one team on each side of the creek. The diameter of the circular arena is two miles.

Connor glanced about, noting the area, and glancing at the other team, he turned to his. "They have on more member then us, so we have to account for that" He said, even as he put his suit on, not wanting to be taken unawares

Phoebe looked around, pleased with the arena. Nice, open grassy field. She could do so much with this, but knew they were fighting here, not landscaping. She waited for any idea or plan to be made.

Kalinda sighed, the lack of shadows was a bit disheartening. It just meant she'd have to expend more energy in finding them. "I'm not going near the pheromone freak" She said at once

Nacelle looked between her teammates as her eyes started to glow an unnatural, blue milky color. She was going to try to use some of her nature magic, what powers do I have again? Aw yes, something with water, lightning, and whatever else to do with storms I should have paid more attention to mom... She could make her eyes glow but other then that she would have to concentrate to make this work.

For now her fight would carry on with her wits, claws, and senses. This was going to suck for her.

Austin immediately took in all information he could through his senses before opening his eyes. He said," when do we start? Any time?" His eyes studied the group in front of them, naturally crouching down a bit in preperation of what could be coming towards them.

Jack was cursing to himself. No buildings in here for him to climb on or to use as leverage. Lovely... He would have to use his strength and hope he did not kill anyone.

This was perfect for Ryan. Large open spaces were perfect for the intelligent speedster. He happened to be one. All he had to do was hope Connor had any idea what he was doing.

"I think we can start whenever, but lets think-every time they have thrown us in teams, its to get us to work in a team" Connor said, "So far, that hasn't really worked well. We need to play to our strengths, and our weaknesses, rather then just going all at it"

Kat looked around at the arena they had been placed in. Open field best lent itself to battle, and there were no signs that there was any more to the task than that. "So, do you think we should be killing them?" She asked openly before looking to Katherin. Everyone seemed to be waiting on something, some clear sign to begin most like, might as well use the hesitation. "Though I suppose a plan first would probably be useful."

Nacelle nodded to the girl that suggested planning. "Agreed, we have no element of surprise here so we should set up an attack of opposites that can have a fair and steady fight. They probably won't work with it but we can try. What are their powers?"

"A plan is an excellent suggestion," Katherin replied nervously. She had no idea what to do. How do you plan a battle? Couldn't they just start attacking each other? If they did who would she attack? Katherin considered the other team carefully. "We have an extra person. That could be to our advantage. We need to take one someone who we think we stand a chance of taking down. If you take your person down you go help someone who is struggling."

Griffin looked at Conner expectantly. They needed a plan. They were starting with a disadvantage. It wasn't must of a disadvantage but it could be enough to cause them to lose.

Kyra smiled. "Perfect. I can use the water, the ground, and the air here. I don`t know if fire would be wise..." she said, looking around.

He said," my real weakness is sound, and the effect that Anthony's powers have on me, though that's about the same for everyone." He quickly scraped through his mind for anything else that could effect the team. He said," anyone that's invisible I'll be able to find with my senses." His claws extended slightly, and he kicked off his shoes, throwing them to a side of the clearing. He was able to run easier with bare feet when outside.

"Phoebe should be taken out as soon as possible, this grassy field will play to her advantage." Flood said remembering his spar with her from earlier.

"That's great, flood, taking out your own team" Phoebe said with a laugh, looking about, "but your right. They'll go for us that can attack from far first I think-or where the fields will be best"

Connor frowned, "does anyone have any ideas? They have several people who could attack us easily now, and will probably defend them"

Ryan shrugged. "Well we have to take out Phoebe. I hate not being on the same team but it's true. This arena was basically hand made for her. Anyone who can fire things from long distance would be useful." He said figuring he would not attack Phoebe.

Jack just listened to his teammates plot and plan. It would get crazy if either side decided to attack the other...

Kyra turned to Connor. "I could shift the creek's waters and freeze it to where they would have a harder time getting to us...." she said. "It could buy us time."

"Try it" Connor said, may as well try something at least. "Be careful though" he added, looking to where the other team was

Phoebe sighed, glanced at Katherine "I'm just going to start" she said, and began to weave a bridge out of vines, the length of the river

Kyra took a deep breath, closing her eyes. She stood straight, feet apart, her arms out, palms facing the creek. The water began to move, beginning to freeze in large sheets, shards and thickening into a wall that was slanted towards the opossing team, making it harder for anyone planning to climb or walk it.

Phoebe stopped, blinked, and then began to shift her bridge, making it into more of a ladder so they could climb the now frozen water wall

Austin said," I have to be in close distance to be able to land an attack. I'll be at the base of the wall, incase someone climbs over it or breaks through." He walked over, to it, stopping a few feet from it, ready.

Kyra sensed this shift in the weight on the frozen water [the vines] and shifted the ice out, creating sharp, dangerous platforms, cutting through the vines. She opened her eyes. "Let's see what happens..."
