"Just attack who you think you can!" Connor said, and took to the air, slamming his mask shut. "Ignot?"
"Sir"
Connor sighed, but let it go for now. "Keep an eye on the opposite team"
And he shot to the wall of ice, seeing it being pushed out to them. "Lasers" he held out his palms, and sent an attack at the ice.
Kalinda, wary of Anthony, stayed where she was. She saw the shadows cast by the tears and smiled. She reached out to them, making them spread out, inching towards those of the other team.
Phoebe darted across the ground, keeping her eyes open. Phoebe was wary of Austin, having seen him move away from his group, and toward the wall. He was quick, and silent, and she wasn't going to be taken unawares. She flung a vine towards Kyra, to wrap around her ankle, and pull back so the girl fell. She didn't stop to watch and see if she succeeded, instead, she was alrady moving towards where some of the other team was.
As she ran, dust formed in her hand, an ability she had only acquired hours before she'd come back to the academy. Pheromones. While she didn't like the idea that it could effect people, or even like fighting her school mates, she would use it, because this was training, and she so wanted to be a Hero. She wanted to graduate, to be out there with her friends, to see Sue again, despite the fact it had only been a day since she had seen her.
Phoebe had already known that many plants could produce Pheromones. Plants had different Pheromones to humans, so she wasn't sure if Anthony would be effected by this or not, but Knew Connor wouldn't be in his suit, which regulated his own air. Plants had the ability to induce the "fight or Flight" Response, mainly flight against predators such as animals, and insects. Her mother often used a dust she called 'love dust', because of the controlling effect it had, and the ability to make people fall in love with her. Another aspect of plant pheromones, one Phoebe wasn't going to touch. Plants also had the ability to stimulate memory loss.
Right now, Phoebe was, hopefully, forming the Pheromone that would induce fear, or flight, in her opponents. She had absolutely no idea if this would work. Yet she was still trying it, because it was training and she might as well try. She blew the dust out of her hand, towards those of the other team remaining.
Again, she didn't wait to see if this would work, instead she turned and ran back to her team, knowing she was vulnerable, she flung up both hands, and a large chlorofiend
formed, to protect her or at least provide some form of defense. She waved one hand, and it began to move. No where near as cute as the mini chlorofiend she had created early in Dr Connors class, this one was monstrous, and could do a lot of damage.
She flung herself back in the tree, using vines to pull herself up, and up and over the ice wall, avoiding Connor as he blasted it. she landed in a roll, laughing, breathless. "Okay. Someone else's turn to show off now" She was reveling in the sunlight of the simulation, enjoying the open field, the chance to explore and expand with her powers without fear of destroying the school buildings, or being over the top.
She pushed herself up, "Connor's trying to break the ice, Austin's on the other side of the ice, and most of the others are in the same place" She brushed her hair back, and once gain contemplated just cutting it short.
She turned back to the ice wall, and flung up both hands once more, beginning to form a ladder out of petrified wood, and then let herself fall to the ground, still breathing heavily. This was the most she had ever used her powers in one go, and it did take a slight toll on her. "I hope my scared y cat dust worked" She flopped back, trusting in her team mates as she took a moment.
She could hear her chlorofiend roar, and move about, and hoped it would be beneficial to help her team win. She pushed herself up into a sitting position, grinning happily.
