The wall – although having its benefits – also caused problems for Kat. Crashing through was hardly her style but teleporting over was like jumping into the lions den blind. She looked around at what was happening and a smile ghosted her lips; chaos. She could work with that.

Teleporting to the other side she looked around, building an image of what was happening, before quickly teleporting back. A lot of small incidents occurring but she had noticed the girl trapped by Griffin who was clearly increasingly frustrated with her situation. But she was going to have to move quickly, she didn't particularly want to make a scene of this.

Summoning her spear she teleported back with a clear direction in mind. Heading for Nacelle she closed the gap and drove her spear down. Just before it reached the light a magical energy coated the tip. However unlike her usual magic which had an ethereal glow of its own this magic seemed devoid of any light. It wasn't effortless but her spear cut through the bands, freeing Nacelle, and the magic disappeared. “Give em hell, kid.”

Katherin wasn't sure she could move. Austin was injuried then she was thanks to Ben shooting him or whatever it was he had done. Katherin was alittle to woozy to tell. It's just blood. Not even real blood. Get herself together. Katherin scolded herself. She couldn't lay her forever. Her team needed her. Katherin slowly climbed to her feet to evaluate the situation.

Griffin was surprised when one of the girls from the other team cut through his bands. Obviously that particular trick wasn't going to work against whoever the girl with the staff was. But then again the bands hadnt been on her. Griffin wondered if that would make a difference. Curious Griffin turned his attention to Kat. He quickly began building bands of light around her making them tight enough to keep her from moving.

When the light turned on her, surrounding her, suffocating her, she grit her teeth and turned her head to look at Griffin. She hadn't wanted to draw attention but if the boy was going to force her hand she had no choice. The strange magic surrounded her in a haze before enveloping the bands of light, corrupting it with cracks along their surface. She didn't flinch or turn her gaze away from Griffin at the creaking and hissing now coming from the bands.

And when the magic hit the core it exploded outwards in a blur of light and dark. In what little time she had she crouched down, holding tight to her spear as she plunged it into the ground. However that didn't stop her from feeling the force nor save her from the shrapnel of light. But as soon as it cleared she had disappeared, nowhere to be seen.

"You mean while I was powerless? Congratulations, you beat someone that you were ten times stronger than." He shoots a few webs at Jack, liquifies himself, and speeds across the ground behind Jack. After solidifying, he threw a few punches at Jack's head.

He was trying to think of how his father beat Venom before. Yah he had none of the usual methods. No loud sounds, fire, or anything. He could try and tire john out. Would any of those even bother John? Last he checked the original wasn't white... Jack managed to avoid the webs thanks to the his spider sense. The punches were not so lucky. One connected and sent back skidding towards the woods. John had hit him when he was turned away. He fired a few webs to get John's attention. He acted like he was running away.

John laughs as he chases Jack, his powerful legs reducing the distance with each step. "Where ya goin' Jackie? Give up already?"

He knew John was on his tail. He had to time this perfectly. John was almost to him. Jack got to the treelike with John a few steps behind him. He ran into the trees using them to try and lose John or get some distance. He fired a few webs behind his back. He had no idea if it would work.

Kyra tried to stand, but everything was going dark. She felt the back of her head, feeling the sticky texture of her own blood. She looked down to faintly see the rock her head had come in contact with and as soon as she did, she passed out, unconcious, and any ice she had created melted back into water and returned to the creek.

The kick causes John to stumble forward, but he quickly regains his balance. He turns around and says with a chuckle, "I'm just as fast as you, kid." He morphs his hands into spiked, club-like appendages before swinging them rapidly at Jack.

Austin grunted as he watched Ben run into the trees. He got back to being on his hand and a foot. He looked at the wall as it fell, taking in a sharp breath and finding Kyra, seeing her body in a heap. His eyes widened. But he knew he couldn't do anything. He instead chased after Ben, knowing the danger of doing so. He was remarkedly fast for being on one foot and his hands. Instead of continuing to run, he climbed up the nearest tree, grunting in pain as his leg disagreed. He crouched in the leaves, searching for Ben.

Then it hit him. The symbiote stopped his sidey sense. So he had to use his own speed to fight John. At least his kick had done something. One of Bane's thing he had been teaching Jack was to use his own strength and speed. By that meaning not using spider sense. So he dove to the side as the first one nearly hit him. That was luck not spider sense. One managed to hit his leg before he got fully away. "Damn it." He groaned before firing a web in between the clubs. John would be able to break it but it would tangle them up a bit. "What's your beef with me?" He asked charging off figuring the were close to the barrier.

Devika stayed well in the back as the fighting got underway, her hands wrapped in a pair of thick gloves with spiked knuckles. She didn't really know what to do, or if she could even do anything at all.

Kijani breathed in happily, feeling the glorious weight and power of a thick tome in her hands. "Oh, sweet paper." She stroked the page with her fingertips. "I'll never take you for granted again." She checked the sword that was neatly in it's scabbard on her back, and then she darted off into battle, seeking any target that would give her trouble. She saw John looking pretty terrifying, chasing down Jack. His hands were caught up in sticky web, and with a wave of will, she detached several pages from her tome. They flew forward, shredding the webs into bits like they were made of nothing. "Don't play with your food, John!" With that said, she recalled her pages and went to cause more trouble.

[Flood]

Flood stopped firing at Griffin and saw Kijani running amok. He rushed toward her and began firing hoping to get in some good hits.

[Mistress Dizzy]

Kijani saw Flood coming with an obvious attack, and pulled up a shield of paper to deflect the bullets. To her dismay, the shots impacted, and quickly began burning straight through. "Crap. New plan." She hunched lower, tucking in her tall frame and using her natural agility to bring herself in closer to Flood. Her blade slid easily from it's scabbard and she swept it into a swift series of stabbing strikes. If she hit him, that would be something- but honestly she just wanted him to lose that gun.

Flood quickly threw his gun in the air and pulled out his Katana. He began blocking and redirecting her strikes. There were a few close calls but otherwise no direct hits. He pushed away from her on her final strike then grabbed his gun out of the air and holstered it. Flood smiled and motioned the universal bring it on sign with his free hand before rushing her with a series of random slashes and stabs that seemingly had no pattern. If observed closely enough though it would be noticed that every 4th attack was a diagonal slash.

Connor scanned the surrounding area, checking on his team mates. Kyra was down, bad for his side when they were already a player down. He sighed. Kijani seemed to be holding her own, Austin was somewhere ready to pounce, Anthony hadn't really made a move, and John seemed to be fine with Jack. Ryan had yet to attack, or be attacked, and now there was a plant monster running amuck. He landed in front of it, "Full power" connor said to Ignot, and blasted the monster with an attack. He leaped out the way as the beast seemed to still stand, if slightly crispy and holier then when it started. He cursed.

Kalinda looked for someone she could attack with the shadows she had, and seeing the speadster, she threw her shadows at him, hoping to catch him off guard.

John calls over his shoulder, "Thanks Princess!" He begins to chase after Jack again while saying, "You need to learn who's stronger. If you think you're so great, then fight me!"

Ben lands silently in front of Jack and holds a finger to his lips, indicating the need for quiet. He point to both Jack and himself, then John, silently suggesting that they should team up on John.

As soon as Nacelle was freed she dropped to the ground of the field. With a sigh she put her head in her hands and started to get up cursing in Afrikaans.

Kijani fell into dodging, her body acting on sheer reflex. Flood wasn't the only one who could improvise. She twisted and darted and dodged, and eventually found the rhythm in the dance. One she could exploit. She waited for her opening to come around again, before she leapt the diagonal strike in a burst of agility, dropping inside Flood's guard and slamming the book she was holding upward into his face. The book was already weighty, but added to Kijani's will it carried the force of a half ton. She made sure to angle the strike in such a way that if it connected, it would shove the cartilage of Flood's nose upward into his brain. This was supposed to be a true fight, and she wasn't going to play nice.

Jack had nothing on John. At all! He was screwed in all senses of the word. Sure he should try and beat John solo. To prove he was better but his ego would be okay if Ben helped him. He had nothing and Ben had guns. Ben wins that one. Jack nodded and pointed to Ben as if to say your move.
