"Okay then" he said, going up to Johan Schmidt. "I'm Connor Stark" he offered a hand in greeting

He turned to face her, he said," oh? Anything been wrong?" He tilted his head, his nearly invisible eyebrow raised at her. He didn't like it when his friends were down, and it seemed like they had both been lately.

Kyra shrugges. "I guess I've just been a little down a bit... And I don't really know why...." she said, hugging her arms to herself.

He frowned then moved and ingulfed her in his arms. He said," I refuse for any of my friends to be down about anything. Do you want to go out and do something? Get your mind off things?"

Katherin hummed as she wondered the ground of the school. Evening was in full swing. Her mission for the day hadnt gone the way she had expected. But Katherin decided that she didn't mind. While she liked interacting with others she was use to being on her own.

Zack decided that to fly. He and Friifin didn't use their flying ability very often. Neither of them had really seen the need to do so. They were both confident in their ability to get from place to place so why practice. Tonight Zack thought it would be good to fly just for the joy of doing so.

As Phoebe would walk out of wherever she was, the lights and quick movements would blind her. It was clear she was being speedster carried somewhere. The colors would stop and they would be on a rooftop by the campus. There was a picnic basket and blanket laid out on the roof. Ryan was standing there Nf it looked like he had combed his hair as best he could. "So I figured a nice date would help you. So here we are!" He said happily. He sat down and smiled at her. He had a question for her.

Phoebe had just stepped out of her dorm room, when everything went by in a flash. She found herself laughing, and she smiled when Ryan set her down. It was just so easy to be happy with him. She didn't have to be anything but herself right here, and that thrilled her. "It's wonderful" she said sincerely, sitting down as well, and giving him a kiss

Austin smiled at her and said," now. Here is my dilemma. I don't know what we can possibly do in the city, or on campus." He released her, looking at her with his head tilted.

Ryan smiled and gave her one of the sandwiches he had made. It was a simple peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Nothing revolutionary. Just simple. He then decided to ask her his question. "Have you ever thought of our future? I mean after the Academy. You know I love you and... " He could not finish the idea. He bet she could get what he meant.

Peanut butter and jelly were on of Phoebes favorite sandwiches. She bit into it eagerly, and swallowed when Ryan began to talk. "Our future?" She smiled, "I know, and I love you too. I don't care what happens, so long as we are together" she said quite truthfully, watching him, setting her sandwich down.

Ryan would have started running around dancing like a loony. But he decided to play it cool. Even though she had just said she wanted to stay with him. Play it cool. "Really? That's great!" He said ignoring the play it cool thing. Classic him. Except there was one problem. The Batman would have his head if he tried this. Phoebe smiled, picking up her sandwich again, "of course" she said "I love you. You've made me feel like I belong somewhere." She said, then gave a shrug "I think I was mainly confused about what I want to be. I'll figure it out eventually." She said musingly

Ryan thought for a second what would he be in the future. "I see myself as a scientist or something like that. Maybe a few kids though I hear young speedsters are a handful obviously. " He said with a laugh. "I know I want to keep in the hero career. I mean I'm going to inherit the job of protecting Central City someday. If I want to or not. Might make living together difficult. "
He said shrugging a bit.

"All kids are a handful" Phoebe said with a laugh, "why would it make living together difficult? It doesn't bother me where I live" she said, starting to eat her sandwich again, "I honestly don't know what I see myself doing. At one point, I thought it would be something like landscaping, but now I'm not too sure"

She paused slightly. "What exactly should I ask him? I have plenty of questions, but not all of them would be coming from a businesswoman. I mean... I'd love to know how he managed it. All that power, and no one knowing the real him." She shrugged. "I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I'm just saying it'd be nice to have tips from someone who knows the game."

"Not all kids can run faster than most adults. My mother nearly went crazy. " He joked. "Well I mean. We could live in Central City but I just... Oh that reminds me. My father wants to come over to the Academy soon and I wanted to have you meet him. If that's okay. " He said before smiling a bit. "You know you would be great at anything you did. "

I'd love to know if he's gone digital, or still has paper files remaining. After all, he could be sitting on a veritable cache of weapons for my use." Her gaze dropped momentarily, before she picked up her head. "When the guards come toward the conference room door, do you want me to kill them? I mean, I'm sure most of them did nothing wrong besides working for the wrong person. It would be... inconvenient for us to have to kill them, too."

Phoebe knew Ryan had problems with having to follow in his father footsteps, and wished she could know what to say to fix tht. But she had nothing. She looked up, somewhat shocked "Meet your father?" She had never had to think on things like this, and she was worried, "I'd like to, but...what if I make a fool of myself, and make a bad impression?"
