Kyra stepped into the gym and lookedaround to see if she could find anyone she knew. She spotted Flood and smiled, but didn't go over to him. He seemed o be in another conversation. She leaned against the wall, looking around.

[Flood]

"There are two mandatory classes. Gym and Power Development. Otherwise all other classes are choosable. The classes you choose determine what type of hero or villain you are. I personally prefer Scarecrow's classes. They teach you a lot about psychology." Flood explained as he looked around.

"Which doesn't seem to help with you, Flood" Kalinda said with amusement, having come out the girls changing rooms, in her gym gear, and over heard the conversation. "There's a wide range of classes, by just about every super I think. You vs can also do courses, so that you can have a degree and therefore an alibi when you graduate" she told kaiden

[Flood]

"I know what's wrong with me, which is something. No the courses I take are so I can understand other people, which I have problems with sometimes." Flood replied with a smirk. He looked at his gum quickly and sighed. "Thank god I didn't mix up the gum with the C4. That was not a fun day for my healing factor."

Austin, after a rather boring, quiet lunch, headed to gym. He was, of chourse, still in his typical shorts and shoes. He ran his hands over his fur covered arms, looking around carefully. He quickly took a deep breath in, identifying almost everyone inside the gym as of now. But for one person, a new person. He focused on the strongest location of the scent, reminding himself to speak with the male located there. His tail twitched before turning towards a scent he definitely knows. Kyra's. He walked up beside her and said ," hey, what's up?" He looked around, wondering where Connor is, having not smelled a fresh scent here.

[Mistress Dizzy]

Kijani stirred, opening her eyes. She sat up and stretched. And then she blinked several times, realizing she could actually sit up and and stretch. The venom had worn off. She could move. Connor was sitting near her door, and her gaze softened. That fool. While he was resting, she took a shower and scrubbed hard, trying to get the smell of bleach off of her body. She didn't know if it was just her imagination, but she had to be sure. Once she was done, she dressed quickly. Then she leaned down to Connor.

"Hey..." She gently nudged his shoulder. "Wake up..."

Connor jolted awake, looking about, one hand reaching for his suit, but relaxed as he saw Kijani. He ran a hand through his hair, probably dishelving it even more. He was embarrassed that he had fallen asleep, he hadn't meant to.

"Hey" he said, "are you feeling better?"

[Mistress Dizzy]

Kijani smiled at him, and lied to his face. "Yes. I'm much better." She smoothed his hair gently, in a fond touch. "Thank you for... coming to my rescue. It's embarrassing that you had to at all, but.. I truly appreciate your help, Connor." She stepped back, looking away. Her shirt was rumpled and the buttons weren't lined up properly. One of her shoes was untied, and her hair was a mess. "You can borrow my shower if you want, Connor. I'll step outside."

Connor sighed deeply, "I wish you wouldn't lie to me when I ask how you are. It's obvious you aren't that much better" he rose, "if you want to convince everyone else that you are okay, and that you haven't been missing for a day, you should take a glance in a mirror" he said softly. He was tired, worried and if he was being completely honest to himself, it hurt.

He picked up his phone, seeing that sometime in the night, a notification had been sent to his phone, from his computer. Which meant that his search was finished. "I'll always come to your rescue" he said softly, "even if you don't want it. Let me help you. Please"

Kijani blinked several times, not used to being called out so blatantly. "I... er..." She looked down, at herself. "Geez, I'm a mess." She pushed a hand through her dreadlocks, then turned her back to him and started to do her buttons over again. "Look, I... I was weak enough yesterday, I just... I just want to move on as quickly as possible. Maybe if I lie enough, maybe if I say I'm okay... then it'll somehow become true." She turned once she was done, and her buttons were fixed. Kneeling to tie her shoe briefly, she passed her hand subtly over her eyes. Just that sentence alone had caused tears to brim. Shit, she was such a useless weakling. No wonder her grandmother had left her. It was all her fault... how come she couldn't just be more useful to people? "Connor?" Her voice was shaking. "...why do you want to help me?"

"Because I care about you" Connor didn't even have to hesitate to answer. It came uncalled to his lips, genuine and true. "Is it so hard to believe that someone would do something for you, without expecting anything in return?" Connor already knew the answer to that, and he sighed, wishing he could fix everything. Yet all he could do was just be something stable. "Even if you don't believe it, it's true."

"Probably. Most of the people I've never even talked to though. Just people gossiping makes other hate me." Flood replied as he stared at the obstacle course for today. " They ripped off the S.H.I.E.L.D. obstacle course. All they did to change it was make it less deadly." Flood observed as he took out some gum and d uck it in his mouth. "Want some?"

"Or maybe you just have a hateable nature." She said with a small shrug, shaking her head at the offered gum. She kept silent as an obviously new face arrived and looked forward again as she finished her coffee. Unlike Kaiden she was not eager for the appearance of a Beast.

Nacelle marched into the gym, her hair was a mess and she looked like she had just woken up, which she had. "Hello there, did we start yet?" She asked tiredly as she pulled a hair brush out of her bag and started to pull it through knots. She glanced at the others and sighed, rubbing her face with het free hand and walking up to a wall so she could lean on it. "I'm sorry about my current state, I'm a bit tired." She stated, most likely confusing other because she said it in a small yawn. "What are we doing?" She asked, rambling on about being tired, and always asking a question at some point.

Kijani tried to smile at him. Her grandmother's words echoed through her head, and she flinched instead. Everyone else in her life had betrayed her or simply not cared. How could Connor be any different? Evidence didn't lie... "Well, at least you're... sticking to your story." She tried to reassemble her hair into something acceptable. "...We'll be late for class. I can wait outside if you want to wash."

Katherin hummed as he made her way the gym. She wondered what they would do today. She looked around for someone to talk to.

Zack fly towards the gym. He figured it was close to time for gym to start. He looked for familiar faces as he flew.

He shrugged slightly, smiling at her," guess we've been busy." He leaned against the wall next to her, yawning slightly, his teeth being bared and tongue curling slightly like a cats does when yawning. He looked around, running a hand through his hair before extending a claw and picking between his teeth slightly.

Devika settled at the back of class, her backside and her pride still sore from earlier. She hadn't accepted the new guy's help, and she felt a bit bad about that. Honestly, she didn't want to explain "I can't touch people without getting all emo" to someone new, not right now. With a mild sigh, she pulled her hair into a messy ponytail and looked over the course in front of them. Dread was already forming in the pit of her stomach.
