[IC] Academy of Heroes and Villains

As Kat and Nicholas entered the classroom they would find it was a history classroom pertaining to the recorded past of the heroes and villains of the past. However right now the room was vacant and didn't pertain any real signs of someone being inside resent. Save for the slightly open closet door and several of the open windows. Not to mention the classroom also connected to the ones next to it on both sides via a door which was unlocked. Meanwhile as Flood traversed the ventilation system the young prodigal son of Deadpool would find his route splitting into two paths. One to the left which would lead him to the lower floors where the locker rooms were. While the right would keep him on the same level. Lee could not help but smile at this situaion. Here he thought this planet was going to be as boring as the orphanage he once grew up in. Oh no this was definitely not a disappointing second day on this...Earth was it? The Night Phantom's database called it Terra though. Oh whatever that didn't matter. Pulling the book free from his jacket Lee smiled looking at the old text. "I feel like I have seen you somewhere before my friend...." he whispered flipping through the pages for a moment. "but where?" He frowned, well nothing like a little appraising the loot while fleeing from his pursers. With that thought in mind Lee grinned eager to see how this little game would end. Though if everything went according to plan, Lee would be right where he wanted to be when this was over.

Flood had began memorizing all the school, and knew that this ventilation shaft would take him near the locker rooms. "Not sure which locker rooms, but if its the girls locker rooms, there's a good possibility I may be at the nurses for a while." He shrugged (or attempted to at least, damn it was tight in here.) "Heh, tight." He continued crawling along the left path in search of... Something.

Connor didn't bother to tell her that the only way he would stop worry about her was if he was dead, or if she was. As the sprinklers went off, he looked up. Smoke? Or had someone let it off? Even though it was perhaps too late, given that they were both wet, he shrugged off his jacket, and made a makeshift umbrella out of it with his arms and easily matching his stride with Kijani's, so they could both be under it.

Kalinda didn't want to go back to the gym. She was outside and had managed to get control of herself and those emotions that weren't hers. And then she saw the boys. Already not in a good mood, she marched up to them, "zack and Griffin" she demanded, having already figured out it was Arnold in control. "I want to know they are alright. And I want you gone, but I guess that isn't happening"

Arnold smiled "Well hello to you too. I'm afraid the boys are in no shape to deal with you or school. I'm afraid that boxes of Mimic's really screw up Griffin. I haven't seen him like this... well ever but that's because I'm new. But Zack's memories show that its been years since things have been this unstable. Personally I'm enjoying it. I finally get to show all of you that newer is better."

"Newer is better? You aren't better then Zack and Griffin. You don't even give a damn about them. All you care about is being in control. You aren't better then them. You just think you are" she shook her head, "I know they can hear me, unless you have them in lock down. So. Griffin, you can't let Arnold just Conpletely run things. That's going to hurt Zack, and I know you don't want that. Zack. Help Griffin, help him to get through this. Please. I miss you both, and don't want to Have to forever interact with Arnold. I'll put up with him, for you guys. But I can't if I have to interact with him forever, without you two taking control every so often. Please. I miss you both. You've my friends" she sighed softly, her expression softening. "You are not better, if you can enjoy their pain and suffering, you are not better, Arnold." Her expression turned hard again, as she addressed Arnold

Griffin growled pushing Arnsld away . he looked at Kalinda with wild pain filled eyes before he was pulled back again. This time Zack's gentle eyes looked at her. "We need time Kalinda. I know you dont like Arnakd but Griffin needs me so he has to be in charge. Give me a few days. I have to get Griffin stable. Mimic threw him into a major flashback. He doesn't seem to know where he his much less who he is." Their eyes shifted again to Arnold's more crafty eyes. "I must remember to send Mimic a thank you card. I've never had so much fun."

Makoto had gotten up to follow Flood and Phoebe to class when the sprinklers went off, thoughts of still needing gym clothes fled from her mind. She had quickly put distance between herself and Flood to try and find a place close by with little water, then he brought out his guns. The guy was practically dancing in the ‘rain’. Makoto wanted to get out of the area with water as soon as possible. She didn’t want her powers to activate on their own due to her lack of control and hurt someone. She felt like a human live wire, if she could still be considered human. She had heard some call people like her mutants, in the plane ride to The Academy and as people cried out in fear as the X-Men rescued her. “Phoebe? Phoebe?” Makoto called to her… friend. “I can’t be here.” The wild fear clear on her face. Without meaning to, her fear, her emotions were inadvertently activating her powers. The water at her feet, should anyone step into it, would feel like its softly tingling.

"I don't know, hence the searching." She replied, quickly looking about the room. Too many possibilities. She sighed and turned to Nicholas. "If you want to help, search the room, especially any doors he could have gone though. And if you find anything, shout." She said before running to one of the open windows and jumping out. She landed on her toes and straightened up. Where-oh-where could he be?

Nicholas slowly started to walk around the room his eyes looking around the room,"He has to be near...I can feel him..." He thought to himself stopping near a desk,His mind was racing of the many hiding spots he could be in and looked up a the vents so of course he made the educated guess and sent his vines. He hoped this would be where he is but didn't know so he could not be inside again he was making a guess.

Devika walked by on her way toward the gym, and got hit with a wave of fear so bad she almost stumbled. Turning her head, it was clear who it had come from. She stepped closer to the terrified looking girl, smiling a bit and trying not to show her discomfort. She spoke low and soothing, emanating a slow wave of calm to try and ease the girl. "Hey, hey... it's okay. Calm down, take a deep breath. From here." She touched her stomach, indicating that the girl should breathe from the diaphragm. Her boots were made for winter, and they were thick. The tingling water she was standing in had yet to even come to her attention. "What can I do to help? Do you not want to get wet?"

"I know" Kalinda said softly, but she feared the longer Arnold was in charge, the harder it would be for them to regain control. She didn't voice those fears, but instead said to Arnold's comment, "I will kick your butt if I find in anyway you are bad for them. And I won't even have to touch you. You all have different emotional wave lengths. Some slight tweeting....and you will be a blubbering ball of emotions" with that, she turned away. She contemplating not going to gym, but made her way there, going to long way around

At Makoto'z distressed call, Phoebe turned, and ran to Her, Devika getting there first. Phoebe pounded into water, the slight tingling an annoyance and nothing more as she automatically wrapped vines around her feet. She stopped, not wantin to cause any more distress, and letting Devika handle it. But she did say "it's okag"l

Makoto didn't recognize the girl at first and then remembered that they had fought Mimic together. Phoebe seemed to trust her so she took a breath and tried to explain. "I have little if any control over my powers," She began assuming that the girl remembered what her powers were. "...and i'm surrounded by water. I don't want to hurt anyone." She tried another deep breath. "Until I can get a hold of this, I don't think mixing me with water is a smart idea!"

-Five Minutes Earlier- "By the way...." Lee said slowly taking a step back. "Did I tell you my rule no. 3?" Lee asked taking yet another step back the grin on his face still visible beneath is dark hood. "Improvise!" with a twirl of his staff he slammed one of the ends resembling a wrench down causing both ends of the weapon to suddenly release its smoke bombs. Plumes of thick dark smoke quickly filled the hallway startling some of the students present watching the scene. Good the scene was now completely covered in smoke. With the students moving about in confusion he had to work quick. Pushing the door open wide enough to look suspicious. Before swinging his staff at the vent knocking the grate off and allowing it to hang by one screw. With his work done Lee quickly and silently began his next move as the sprinklers went off the sound of his staff retracting was heard with it being returned to his back. -Present Time- "Crap" He muttered under his breath struggling to return the book back into his coat. Being thin had its advantages but it still sucked being trapped in such a tight space dripping wet. At least on the bright side the book was not damaged nor even damp thanks to the inside lining of his coat. Then he heard it, sounded like something had just infiltrated the vent systems. "Time to go." He realized suddenly before something that he would not prefer to happen to him. Ever so gently Lee opened the door to the locker near where he used the smoke bomb. He had been hiding inside it the entire time while the others took the bait and left the scene. Thieving Rule No. 4: Always create a distraction. Even if it meant for his distractions to have distractions. Kat took the bait and entered the classroom and by the sound of things she's not even on this floor anymore. Though he didn't expect several others to join in on the hunt oh well that makes it even more fun. Pulling his hood down to look less suspicious Lee took his leave from the hallway. "Now to go the one place they would never dare to look." he said already pleased with how this was going. Slipping down the stairs Lee made his way to the ground floor.

Nicholas sighed he could not feel anything or anyone inside of the vent,He stopped his search for the person that Kat was looking for letting his vines return to him.Once the vines returned back to him he walked back out of the classroom because he thought that it would be useless to find the person and it wasn't even his problem in the first place,"Not my problem...why do...i even bother..." Nicholas said to himself while someone was following him back to his dorm.

Phoebe stepped in, and said softly "It's okay, Gale. See over there? Just outside? There's no water. Lets get over there" She said kindly, giving her a smile, and started that way herself, not offering her hand just yet in case Makoto's power was still active. "It's going to be okay. Don't worry. Just a few steps and we will be outside"

There was no sign of him about the grounds and no indication from Nicholas at having found anything. Ok, time for a little magic then. First she rid herself of all those small things she wore so often: taking off her necklace, her rings, the knife hidden in her boots, each faded into nothing. Next with a gentle wave of her hands a small smoking orb of magical energy appeared; it almost seemed alive as it moved about, circling her once before hovering in the air before her. "Go on then, show me the way." She whispered, to herself more than anyone. At this point she had to hope that book was so saturated with her magic that it was a stronger call than any other residue about the building as it lead her around and to the nearest entrance to the building.

Makoto's eyes focused first on the window, then the door as Phoebe moved towards it. She followed Phoebe outside shortly after. Makoto hadn't even realized there was a door from the cafeteria that lead outside. She felt silly an very embarrassed. It's what came with the immense amount of fear she was feeling, that only now as she stepped outside did she realize how strongly it came on. "Thank you, Phoebe."she half mumbled with flaming cheeks. Makoto looked back into the now nearly empty cafeteria. Some people had even left through the same door on the other side of the cafe. Having not known the available route to take to escape and the fact that she let fear over take her only fueled her embarrassment. "I'm sorry." Makoto said, hanging her head a little bit.

Lee was moving quick and quiet through the crowd of students. Some of which were soaked and complaining about how some idiot set off the sprinklers while fleeing from the local demigod...wait did they say Kat was some kind of demigod? Some were agreeing commenting how either brave or stupid someone was to bug a daughter of Loki no less. Oh crap whoever this Loki was did not sound good at all. Well no matter he still had the advantage! Or at least Lee did until a floating ball of energy stopped right in front of him. Sure enough in close pursuit of the orb was none other than the proper owner of the book. Welp Lee just broke Thieving Rule No.1: NEVER. GET. CAUGHT. With a small smile Lee chuckled a bit raising his hands up in defeat. "Ok ok you got me." He said before reaching into his coat and removing Kat's book.

Katherin made her way to the gym. She was looking for Phoebe and Makoto when she spotted then. It looked like Makoto was all wet. What on Earth had happened. The new girl looked very upset. "What happened? Is everyone alright? Can I help?" She asked. She didn't know what the problem was but she would do what she could to help.

Nicholas headed into his dorm licking the door behind him,He wanted to nap he had a long day and he needed the rest until he tomorrow when he can see Devika again.The thought disappeared when he heard a knock on the door,He usually does not opened the door for anyone but he thought it was Phoebe or Devika wanting to talk to him. Once he opened the door he saw not see Phoebe or Devika but a tall lanky man wearing what looked like a poorly made mask,In his heart he knew who it was and made his spine tingle with something he has not felt in a long time and that was fear. "You...." Nichols said but was knocked out by the masked man and walked into the room locking it behind him since the man had some unfinished bushiness with Nicholas.
