Flood had made his way out of the vents and burst out of the locker room with multiple wounds on him. "Adrenaline! Yeah!" He yelled as he ran around with an insane amount of energy. He saw a suspicious looking fellow with a hood and then a magical orb began followers my him. "Gotcha." Flood pulled out a gun and aimed it at Lee. He then saw the book. He recognized it as Kat's and he began formulating a plan. He noted his escape route, a nearby window, and looked at Lee. He mouthed the words, "Toss me the book."

Phoebe just gave Makoto a kind smile, and said "it's okay. You will learn how to control your powers soon, I'm sure" she now approached Makoto, and didn't hesitate, Giving her a hug. "It's going to be okay. Trust me" she smiled again, stepping back "do you want to go get changed?"

Makoto kind of half smiled at Katherin when she came over. "I-I'm just not feeling the greatest." she tried to explain. Then, Phoebe hugged her. It was calming and nice to have someone care for her, someone she could call friend. She hadn't been able to truly call someone that in years. Makoto gave a weak smile, cheeks still rosy. Since they were standing in the snow and both Phoebe and herself were wet, a change of clothes would be smart. Makoto shivered once, "Yeah, or at least dry off." In her room she had one extra bra and a weeks worth of underwear. She hoped it would be enough for now, or at least she could get some more clothes.

Or at least Lee did until a floating ball of energy stopped right in front of him. Sure enough in close pursuit of the orb was none other than the proper owner of the book. Welp Lee just broke Thieving Rule No.1: NEVER. GET. CAUGHT. With a small smile Lee chuckled a bit raising his hands up in defeat. "Ok ok you got me." He said before reaching into his coat and removing Kat's book.

It didn't take too long for Lee to be found as the orb sped faster the nearer they got. She arrived at the same time as Flood, watching as he drew his gun and Lee reached for the book. "Stop!" She shouted to the both of them, holding up her hands as if to freeze them in place. "You," she said, pointing at Flood, "put the gun away, I don't look innocent when you're waving that around. And you," now pointing to Lee, "I have reason not to trust you. I step forward to take back the book and then what?" Because the trap someone like that sounds very much like something she would do, unfortunately for him. She may not be a thief, generally, but she knew how to play dirty.

"Alright. Let's all just calm down." Flood put away his gun and looked at Lee. "You know what to do man." He said to him.

Phoebe shivered in the cold, it had always effected her strongly, and part of that, she thought, was the fact that plants didn't do well in cold. She smiled at Katherin and said, "You can try" She said, pulling back her hair from her face, and up in a pony tail.

Lee said politely slowly reaching to his back and removing his collapsed staff before dropping it onto the ground and kicking it away. "You did good Kat." Lee said with the grin forming back on his face. "You seemed to have followed the curiosity well. Most people would have given up the first five minutes in." he said reaching into his jacket and removing her book. "Now what happens next is I step forward and place this back in your hands." He said taking the step forward before doing exactly as he said returning the book to its owner. "Though the question of the matter is....you probably send me flying into a wall now don't you?" He asked the grin never leaving his face as he spoke.

After a few moments Nicholas came back out of his dorm his eyes blank look even more so then ever,His mind was filled with different desires walking down the hallway out of his dorm and was now walking around the hallway.The young youth walked down the hallway the vines slowly coming out of the shelves of his coat occasionally slamming studetns into the lockers without even noticing the student's excites.

Flood smiled. "Me pulling a gun on someone is calm. When I'm not calm, I pull the trigger." He replied with a grin and a small nod. "Nice to meet you new kid. I'm Flood."

Nicholas was making his way though the hallway moving or rather forcefully pushing students away with his vine,He didn't even look at Flood,Lee and Kalinda and was heading some place diffenrt.

Kat kept her eyes trained on him as he handed over the book; turning it over in her hands it then faded away. Hearing his question she gave a wry laugh. "I would hate to be so predictable." She purred playfully, wearing a smirk. Then in a split second her own staff was in her hand and she swung it low, sweeping his feet out from under him. As soon as he fell backwards the point was at his throat, the smirk was gone. "You patronising ass." Just as quickly it disappeared, and Kat with it as she began to walk to gym.

Connor didn't bother to tell her that the only way he would stop worry about her was if he was dead, or if she was. As the sprinklers went off, he looked up. Smoke? Or had someone let it off? Even though it was perhaps too late, given that they were both wet, he shrugged off his jacket, and made a makeshift umbrella out of it with his arms and easily matching his stride with Kijani's, so they could both be under it.

Kijani smiled wanly, leaning against Connor. He was offering help, even though it was completely useless. But then, that was Connor, putting his valuable energy into things that were too broken to fix, and lost causes. Hopefully one day he would rectify that before he really got hurt. "Never a dull day in this place. Heh." Her tone was sarcastic and dry, unlike her shoes which were becoming squishy.

Katherin nodded. She wasn't sure exactly what she could do. She had never tried to work with water before. She placed her hand on Makoto's arm. She concentrated. She tried to pull the water to her. Nothing happened. She frowned. Well she really hadn't expected much. Just became ice was water didn't mean that water was ice. "Looks like plan a didn't work so now we move on plan b." She told them. She took a deep breath. She slowly began freezing the water. She took her time not wanting to freeze Makoto completely. Slowly ice spread over the other girls clothes.

Phoebe watched Katherin work,trying to figure out what she was doing. She imagined that whatever it was, they would still be cold, and could curse whoe er had set the fire alarms off, set the water on them.she hugged herself to try and maintain some warmth, beginning to shiver violently, her fwce red with the cold wind slapping against the water plastering her hair to her head.

"If it was a dull moment, it wouod just be....a school. Frankly, the sprinklers going off is probably the most normal thing to happen. At least we didnt wake to find ourselves in an empty sch8ol and fighting our doubles, like a few months ago" Connor said, giving Kijani a smile

Kijani let out a faint snicker and shook her head. "I think the world might implode if there was more than one of me. You're right, though. I mean, the school could be on fire... so I'll take water in the halls over that." -- Devika watched as other people took care of the new girl, she'd heard the name 'Gale' in passing. It was nice that the girl had already made friends of Phoebe and Katherine. She tugged her gloves tight and tried to banish a sudden wave of sadness from her soul.

"Maybe the school was on fire and the water in the halls is a result of that" connor said musingly, before giving a shrug "or McCoy really wants to give us a weird gym session. Or most likely it's Flood playing a joke or the likes of that." He knew something was up, and it was a struggle not to ask, not to find out what he could so that he could figure out what it was. But if Kijani wanted to continue as if nothing had happen, he would. And just figure out what was wrong the harder way
