Flood looked over at Kaden when he entered. "The prodigal son returns. Good to see you." He stated with a smile. He was bleeding from several wounds and unconcious students surrounded him. They were all well known for bullying other weaker students. Flood's wounds were already closing up.

Phoebe bit her lip, shifting slightly and nodded, "Okay, okay." jeez, what did he even eat? Was he a vegetarian? Was he allergic to anything? She tried to think back to other lunches she had seen Nicholas have. She looked to Ryan, but knew Nick would be okay with him. She trotted over to the food, and grabbed a plate, filling it up with random food and coming back over.

Connor sighed, and headed out the gym when it was clear that they could go. He figured the morning lessons were over. He looked about, as if Kijani was just near by, but he figured she was still resting. And yet. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. As he walked, he began to debate what to do. Go and check on her, and leave her be.

Kat had gathered an extremely vague idea of what had occurred during the lock down; mostly those who were involved were foreign to her, the parents of the students. No matter where you are everyone seems to be dancing on the strings of those before them. Though what she had heard didn't concern her, this family feud was unlikely to affect her and she was more than happy to content herself with her own dramas. "Hello Kat, I heard you have been keeping busy since I've been gone" Well that was a tongue she hadn't heard in a while, and a voice she hadn't heard for even longer. She allowed herself a smile, but quickly swallowed it as she turned to face him. "What in the name of Hela are you doing here?"

Nicholas wrote down "Thank you" on the notepad handing it back to her,He let out a child like giggle using his vines to bring a peanut butter sandwich up of his mouth. Let out another child like giggle of joy chewing on the sandwich liking at Ryan.

Kaden gave a smile and a nod to Flood before turning his attention to Kat. "What is it a crime to come back to this place?" He asked giving her a playful pout before chuckling. Then the smile was gone aand once again he slipped back into the ancient tongue. "I succeeded in recovering my mother's weapon the Witchblade" he whispered, when Kaden prepared to leave the Academy two years ago Kat was the only person he told the actual reason for his abrupt departure. "It longer than intended, I have a couple of new scars but I can rest easier knowing that weapon will not fall into the wrong hands again." Then as if he merely took a breath his tongue reverted to English. "So I have no reason now to not come back and continue my studies...oh I did bring you a souviner by the way." He revealed with a grin.

She didn't seem as baleful or intimidating, but then she wasn't quite a ball of sunshine yet either. As his tone changed she matched it as she listened to the brief report of his two years. "If you have learnt anything, it is that you can never rest easy Kaden." She replied in the old tongue. For all the blood that had been spilt over that weapon she didn't believe it would be so easily forgotten. Kat only hoped he had the good sense to hide it somewhere it will not be easily found, where it would slowly pass to myth and legend. At the mention of a gift though Kat quickly brightened, a dazzling smile lighting her eyes. "Something for me? You really shouldn't have." Her mock humility easy to see through.

Makoto and Kathrin had been walking with Phoebe and Ryan to go to gym class when Pheobe took off, and Ryan soon after. The two girls assumed that they were either ditching class, witch seemed unlikely or that they went to get something before class. Maybe Phoebe had in fact decided to change. It wasn't until, Makoto was mid shower with Kathrin waiting that the lock-down happened and they realized something was terribly wrong. Fortunately there seemed to be towels in the change-room and a dryer. Makoto guessed it was for drying off the towels or clothing form after a workout. Kathrin so kindly put Makoto's clothes in the dryer when she was in the shower and for a time, since Makoto finished her quick shower just after the lock-down was invoked, and the two girls sat there killing time. Makoto was obviously in a towel until her clothes were dry, she was very self conscious about that but there was not much she could do and she felt it odd to stay and sit in the shower when Katherin was out sitting on a bench. The two girls talked until the lock-down was over. Afterwards it seemed like there was no point in going to the elective that was after lunch, all the teachers seemed to have disappeared too. That was unfortunate since while talking with, Katherin suggested that Makoto talk to Mimic to see exactly what her powers were. The two girls decided to head to the cafeteria for lunch, hopefully by now the sprinklers would be off and the place would be cleaned up. On the way to the cafeteria they stopped in to the library for Makoto to pick up a book to read. She was surprised at the massive selection of books. She chose a book about a Wetboy, which is apparently an Assassin that can use magic. From the page she read quickly, the book had amazing detail. "So, did you ever end up calling your father yesterday?" Makoto asked as they walked from the library to the cafeteria. It was a good moment to do so, since it was just them and Makoto felt like they had really hit it off during their morning adventures. somewhere in her consciousnesses she felt worry for Ryan and Phoebe, where were they? Makoto hoped to see them in the cafeteria for lunch.

"I probably shouldn't have...but something told me I should be nice." Kaden teased back. Turning his hand so his palm was facing up a small ornate box appeared in his hand. Opening the box up revealed what first seemed a small diamond the size of an egg. Upon closer inspection the diamond appeared to be glowing created by dozens if not hundreds of various colors making the gem appear as if it was glowing. "While I was following a lead I ended up on a world that was populated by dwarves. They had a dragon problem...they were kind enough to give this to me its called a Star Tear. Its forged by carving out the shape from pure diamond before it undergoes multiple enchantments so it gives off its aura. It will always remain cool to the touch and never break. " Kaden said handing the box to her. "Plus I have one more present." He added before holding up his other hand and an old worn book appeared in his hand. "I'm sure you would love to have the chance to examine this spell book I picked up as well." He said with a smile

Flood smiled at Kadens comment. "No, but its likely you may commit a crime when attending." He responded. When he began speaking the other language he tilted his head. Probably wasn't important anyways. He looked around. "Someone should get these guys a nurse."

Ryan looked over at Nick and just stared. "So Nick... Uhh this is an odd way for us to meet. How do you feel about the whole I'm going to be your brother in law?"

Nicholas finished a piece of his peanut butter sandwich looking over to Ryan,He quickly took the notebook into his hand jotting down quickly with his pen.He handed Ryan the notepad then going back to eating his sandwich,"I am fine with it but i would think it is a bit fast to pop the question,Although what do i know about love" It said on the notepad while Nicholas was eating his food.

Ryan looked over at Nick. "It's been about six to eight months. We've been together for that whole time. It's not like I asked her after meeting her today. Mr. Wayne seemed fine with it. "He said defending himself. "Hang on. "He said speeding off and coming back with his usual tray of food in hand. "So do you like it here yet?"

Phoebe retrived some food for hersel, returning to the two. She seemed to hesitate a moment, sitting down, trying to get the gist of the conversation. Ryan seemed on defense, and Phoebe sighed, stabbing a piece of lettuce with her fork, and didn't say anything

Nicholas closed his eyes for a moment writing down something on the notepad and handed it to Ryan,"Of course i apologize i only found out about Phoebe was my sister a few days ago" It said as Nicholas finished his sandwich and used his vines to put the small carton of chocolate milk to his mouth.

"It's beautiful." She whispered, carefully picking up the diamond regardless of him telling her it would not break. Turning it this way and that she watched the many colours dance about each other; she put it gently back away as he held up the book. At the sight of that she smirked. "You may regret giving me that someday." She teased, taking it just as carefully. Hearing Flood however Kat gave an annoyed sigh and turned to look at him. "Well someone should not have hurt them, and that someone should go clean up their own mess." None of them were in critical danger so she did not care to play his games right now, especially considering how the day had unfurled already. With a roll of her eyes she looked back to Kaden. "So, you're here now? No missions for the greater good in the near future?"

"Hostile right now huh? They attacked me first, so I'm not helping them" Flood replied smoothly.

Kijani closed her computer, her hands shaking. What she was writing hurt, but the truth had to be told. Still, before she finished with that, there was something she had to do. It made her stomach twist, but there was nothing in it to throw up anymore. She picked up her phone and stared at it, her finger hovering above the button to call Connor. At the very last second, she lost her nerve, and texted him instead. "Hey. Can we meet by the library? I want to talk."

Katherin had selected a couple of books. She could never seem to go to the library without getting atleast a couple of books. It had been nice to go with Makoto. She usually ended up going alone. She and Makoto had more in common than she had originally thought. They had literally talked for hours. "Yes I got ahold of him this morning. He is free this weekend. He told me to come and spend the weekend."

Phoebe watched this, frowning slightly. She looked to Nicholas and said, "Ryan makes me happy. He is who I want. I was content, and prepared, to go through life alone. And then he said hello to me, and made me laugh. He given me something I didn't even know I wanted. When you get to know him, I hope you'll get along well" She said, looking to Ryan and smile

Connor was just heading to the cafeteria when he received Kijani's text. He replied with an okay, and detoured towards the library, looking about in case she had got there first.

Arnold was pissed. The lock down had messed up his plans. He didn't get to show off his superiority the way he had wanted to. He took his anger out on Zack and Griffin. There was no one else around so they were the perfect targets. Plus there was no one to stop him. He changed back into his three piece suit and made his way to lunch. The day wasn't a complete loss. There was still power development.
