Kijani flinched as the newbie enthusiastically grabbed her hand and shook happily. She chuckled and shook back, but freed her hand as soon as possible. "Hey Connor. And... welcome, newbie." She hastily backed away, joining Connor and Austin. "You'd think I would stop being surprised at a school like this." She said out of the side of her mouth, so hopefully the odd new kid wouldn't hear her. "Hasn't happened yet."

"Let's go then! " Ryan said enthusiastically. He got some alone time. Nice. He held her hand as they walked. "So you only needed the laptop?" He asked probing for answers. Or a kiss. Either would work.

"Yes but we haven't had breakfast yet, and you really don't know how loud Austin stomach can growl" Connor said, poking Austin in the side, "we can grab something and eat it in minutes" he smiled, that somewhat y lopsided smile of his. He hadn't really spoken much outside of classes with kijani since the first power development class when she had run out.

"So, how is everything?" He asked, his demeanor shifting from confident to somewhat geeky. Like it normally did when he spoke with girls.
