Phoene giggled as he watchdd Sue, following his look to where she was. "Well, your father isn't exactly a fluffly bunny" she said

Anthony gives Phoebe a wry smile and says ruefully, "It's called survival of the fittest. Eat or be eaten. Kill or be killed." He turns his attention back to the game and finishes his little speech, "Either take or be taken advantage of."

The next word out of Austin's mouth was crap. He moved back quickly as his last teammate, Ben, was set out. Austin looked at the three on the opposing side and swallows. If he could have used his powers this wouldn't be as bad. But... He didn't have much of a choice now. He back as far back as he possibly could, swallowing again, clenching another dodgeball in his hands. All he could do was hope that one of his previously thrown got someone out.

There was a ball just before the boundary line that separated the two sides. She ran to get the ball, sweat dripping down onto her eyes, but heated in competitiveness. She grabbed it and somersaulted along the boundary line. With a jump she flung the ball wildly at Austin.

Estella had dodged the ball thrown at her. She snatches another ball and sends it after Sue's for good measure.

Austin simply resigned to his fate. He brought his knee up and arm down to protect his body somewhat from the blows of the dodgeball's, but they still stung like crazy against the bare skin. He said," ya got me good." He looked at the red marks forming on his skin from where the dodgeball's whacked into him. He quickly loosened the amulet, and took it off, shivering in relief as he returned back to his normal. Self. He said," much better...." He nodded, taking a moment to absorb all the influx of information. He then walked over to the half quart line and held out his hand for Sue to fist bump and he said," good game."

Connor saf on the benches, then hesitated, walking over to Kijani. "If you still want to work on the water and fire proofing, we could do it in Dr Connors class-he will let us, or after classes" he said, his demeanor shifting to his normally geeky way."This is such a confusing game" phoebe mused, before turning to look at Anthony, "what about you?"

Kijani was glad for the distraction from the game. It was utter pandemonium to her, she couldn't get a grip on what was happening. She turned to Connor with a little half smile. "After class sounds good, something tells me I'm going to need a break. So maybe an hour after classes end? Does that sound good to you?"

"You don't hve to be exactly like your dad" phoebe said smiling, trying to cheer him up, "if you were, what would be the point coming here? You are yoir own person. You already know how to control your powers. You are brillant" she took one of his hands in her own, "you are awesome" she repeated

connor nodded, and gave her a smile, "yeah, that will give me time to get everything ready" he said, "so, after classes" he said, a bit lamely

With a long blow on the whistle, McCoy yelled:

"And Sue's team wins!"

"Kijani, your team is up!"

Sue jumped in jubilation, running to her two remaining teammates. She hugged Jack, and hugged Estella even longer. She didn't care if she was sweaty and stunk like a skunk, she was happy. She ran back to a spot in the bleachers high up, she taking off her earmuffs to avoid them from being soaked in sweat.

Prof. McCoy claps his hands and says, "Good game everyone. Five minute break, then Kijani's team and Sue's team are up."

Jack was a but shocked when she hugged him. They had won. Go them. Teamwork had its perks. He walked back and flipped down on the bleachers next to Katherin. He was covered in sweat. "That was oddly fun. " He said laughing.

Katherin had watched the first game with interest. She had a few ideas on how to avoid balls coming at her, but she wasn't sure how to go about throwing them. She would have do her best. "It looks likefun I can hardly wait."

Phoene grinned, "so, its over" she said, "who goes now?" She wondered.

Kijani grinned and nodded. "Yeah. I'll bring food. And the paper, of course." Then the whistle blew. The game had been won, and her team was up next. Kijani started muttering several variations of 'bullsh*t' under her breath, one language after the next. "Okay. Uh... team...?" This was going to be torture. "We're officially the Warriors, if anyone cares. So... throw hard, don't get hit... and try not to screw up." She stood and started to do some stretches, dropping down into a full split before starting to carefully twist and warm up. She knew she'd be able to dodge with ease, but someone else was going to have to throw for her.

"Johnnie Boy- I'm gonna need your beefcake self to do the heavy lifting. Katherine, you just keep them guessing, you seem pretty quick on your feet. Everyone else..." She addressed the rest of her team, and flinched slightly. "Good luck."

Leading was hard.
