You know how at the very beginning of some movies, you're shown a climatic scene from the end of the movie, then later on you're shown the events leading up to it? This was similar. I showed you the climatic event, the simulation, then afterwards, the students remember going into the Battle Simulation class. I don't think I'm explaining myself very well...
I get that part. It works for movies. But it doesn't work for writers. You're having us write our characters reacting as if they knew something... that we as writers didn't know. It's an impossibility.
Anyway, what's done is done, I must rest.
