Name: Orin Thorson

Gender: male

Age: 20

Parents: Thor Odinson and Jane Foster

Powers: superhuman: strength, durability, speed, stamina, senses. Longevity( not to the amount of his father, but still longer then normal people), flight( he can more levitate rather then fly when he doesn't have Mjölinr, electrokinesis( control of lightning ), all tongue( when he speaks people will hear the language of their hearts. Despite all of this, he is about as half as powerful as his father, slightly below Asgardian standards but not too far.

Bio: Soon after he was born and the permission of his mother, he went to Asgard, to learn and grow. He was raised to the standards of the asgardians, and was kept him on a tight rein to try to keep him from acting like his father did as he grew. He grew quickly in the way of the sword, and of fighting. He trained for years, practicing as often as possible. He was looked down on by the people his age, simply because of being wearer then them. He had occasional visits to midguard, but not very much, not seeing his mom very much. His father decided he could learn only so much from him, and decided for him to come to midguard to learn the ways of midguardians due to him in later years to someday become its protector, and learn from others and have more people with powers to practice against. Before he left however, his father gave him Mjölinr to support him along the way.

You're probably more or less a given but for the sake of it.. yep, I have no problem! Obviously with the Asgardian thing you have to be careful not to GM but it would be pretty hypocritical for me to say no for that! Plus you know about the all-tongue so that's like all the bonus points from me :)

Er... I'm on the fence. The idea of the character is something I like, but... the graduation age for the Academy is 24... It doesn't make sense to me that Thor would put his adult son into the school for one year and expect him to pick things up that fast. Maybe if you dialed him back a few years?

Also, "slightly weaker" than Thor is still probably enough power to take down a whole army...

The concept is good so far, but you'd need to reduce his power a lot before I could give my thumbs up, sorry.

I'm really available to changing his powers, age and whatnot. That was something that I was uncertain of, his powers and stuff. I didn't want him to be too overpowered, because I hate people that seem like they are invincible, and can not no harm and practically be a god. What I might do is to change his mother and have Jane Foster be it, simply because it will decrease his power quite a bit. Age, easy change, I made him as old as he was because of how old the person in the picture looked, so I was trying to match it. Originally, he was ment to be 20, but changed because of the picture.

I'll add those changes to it now, and let you all know when I'm finished.

Ok, I went through it and edited, took out and changed some powers, changed his mother, as well as his bio to match the changes. Hopefully this will work better.

*nod* Alright, that's definitely looking more like a student.

2 things, though: We have Thor teaching an ancient weapons class in the school. Like, anything before the invention of gunpowder.

Also, what does 'language of the heart' mean? Does it mean that when Orin talks, everyone can automatically understand him, regardless of what languages they actually understand? Because that is kind of an awesome minor superpower. ^_^; I have a character who I'm still working on, that has this power in reverse. He can understand any language.

Oh! One more thing! /Uncle

Kylix is playing the daughter of Loki. So... yeah. You all should talk, because there is SO much potential for interaction there.
