OK, I'm calling all available sources of help for Ultraman's backstory. I have literally EVERYTHING else ready to go.

Until Dick sleeps with them first.Oh, my bad mate, must've read it wrong.I think what Gowi's trying to say is that the implementation of Kitty Pryde into a Batman character makes seemingly little sense considering Batman's already got such a colorful cast of characters to work with, Kitty Pryde just seems a little "out-there".Now you're just going a too far off left base.

If Batman didn't work with Marvwl characters, what significance would she have in THIS game, where the only difference from DC is that there's also Marvel.

There's working with Marvel characters and shoehorning them in; I think is the concern. I'm still going to objectively look at your app with an open mind.

I also thought of using Kraven to make a doorway for interaction later on.

See, that's just it, he can work with Marvel characters, but with Kitty Pryde it feels like you're forcing it. See, for when I ran Iron Man in one of these RPs, I made Stark Industries business partners with Wayne Enterprises and Queen Consolidated, and the Bruce-Tony-Ollie relationship was marvelous after Tony came out as Iron Man. Batman can work perfectly fine with Marvel characters, you just have to be mindful of which ones you use.

Kitty is trained in ninjutsu in Marvel 616. Not too far of a stretch to incorporate her into Batman's story if done right.

I'm only commenting, by the way, because I had been considering Kitty as a character should I decide to join this. Oh well, though. Not like I was planning on participating in this RP so soon anyways.

Almost every hero in the history of comic books is trained in some form of martial arts.

Even Beast Boy is trained in Eskrima.

@NR: Hmm?

@Sloth: Kitty has near master combatant level. Granted it's constantly ignored by writers, but still. Mainly, though, she has history with groups such as The Hand. Serious history that could easily be incorporated into Batman stories. As I said, if done right it'd be a great intertangling of characters. It's not like he's throwing in an X-men character for the hell of it.

People argue that while Batman is the most realistic of the superheroes, he's still a superhuman in a lot of ways.

What true comic book reader has ever called Batman realistic?

Literally nobody I know calls Batman realistic in any way outside of "no superpowers".

The only laughable thing I've heard from my friends is "that he's relatable" which I find hilarious.

Lurk around a few Batman message boards and you'll be surprised at what you find. That and the ongoing prep-time batgod debates..
