I agree, Elara seems best suited for leadership. She's got my vote.

Ayessa's farsight may come in useful for the leader, but I don't think she would make a very good leader herself.

I agree that Elara or Valsil would make the better leaders though.

Renny said My real choice here was Traest Krey’lis, he has that militant knowledge that we all need. But you I figured the Jedi senior officer needed to be a Jedi.

The Jedi in charge is just in charge of the jedi, and probably not as firmly in charge of other Jedi knights as Traest is of the entire IRSOG. You see, he's in command, the Jedi are under him (for the moment) and it's not a welcome relationship from his perspective...and the Jedi aren't entirely happy with the situation either, as Jedi have this other whole frequency they sense and integrate into their decisionmaking.

So, just for reference, does anyone/could anyone help out with writing Lightsaber combat? I'm rusty on that point.

Edit:Nevermind, I have a few references to go by.

I think I get what you're saying. If that's the case, I'm voting Elara, just to see the two interact and such. That would be hilarious.

The only real change I made was giving his style roots in Djem So and Makashi. It's for a reason, as I want Valek to be more of a Lightsaber Combat specialist.

Edit: I'm gonna leave my sheet alone from now on unless others wish to have known him in the past.

If Valsil is put in charge you're all going to hate him even more (and that's okay, really!). I don't think Valsil would really be the guy who spearheads a Mercy Corps group on purpose, but then again he *is* the sort of guy that a reluctant council would appoint, to sorta keep a leash on their assorted Jedi. Elara is the more natural fit, but if like you guys need me to do it, I'm down.... Really though you don't want him in charge of anything.... it would be....... bad.......

Y'all under Traest now.

Y'all gonna have a hard time especially when he gets told the people with glowy swords and magic powers are apparently "Non Combatants" and for "Mercy Missions".
I actually think he'll get along with Elara reasonably well, with her tendency to dive into situations, not the most tactical way to always do things but it works when you have glowy swords and magic powers.

Seems our third-hearted ploy to get someone else to take leadership failed. We could probably let Elara be in charge of the Jedi. No idea how well she'll do... But there's only one way to find that out.

Well he'll like her when in a mission if she's running around stabbing people. But depends how much she philosophies outside. Traest isn't going to be a fan of Jedi anyway, it's just to what level thats what is going on.

At this point I'm waiting on one more sheet, but I am pretty much getting things rolling.

Also, Ayessa could easily be stuck with the role as a consular. Because dealing with the Bothan might require a trained diplomat.

Which means as her Padawan, the 7" Kaleesh will be there as well. Having Ayessa there to say peaceful stuff, while the really tall, well built Padawan is there might be bad. Cuz he has not one, but two glowy swords. It might piss Traest off more.

That would be fun. Jedi, Mystic and a Diplomat... Oh he wouldn't like her.

Why does he not work well with Jedi? The history in his bio wasn't clear. It seems like he'd just hate the banner of the Mercy Corps, seeing the "Non-Combatants" as wasted potential.

Partially because the Jedi haven't gotten involved until this point, he thinks it's their way of seeing themselves as "superior". I think the main distaste will come out when Revan takes charge and Jedi start getting put in charge of things.

Blame the Jedi Council. We all do,anyway. They were holding back even though they knew what was happening on Cathar.

He'll be fine with them the now, as long as they won't be argue philosophy all the time which means he'll be fine with most the Jedi. Though don't expect no preferential treatment, the main divide will happen once Revan gets supreme commander and Jedi all over the place start to take charge. I actually expect some Jedi within Traests group to start giving out orders/not obeying orders just from what they're used to doing. ALl these lovely things will create some fun.
