And in the second place, we weren't waiting on that; we were waiting specifically on Samus.

Pretty much the crux of it really. People chose to interact with Samus. As such they need to get a response before messing somewhere else. Really plenty of ways of messing about, otherwise. Plenty of ways to end up to Middle Earth.

All right, I'll try and post up from my phone. I mean, Grand manages with a 3DS, so I figure I can get a short little post up to get people out of the hole. May take a while. I was just feeling like people didn't think I'm trying, which is why I got a bit defensive. I do apologize for that. I'll get at least a daily post starting if not Wednesday, then definitely Thursday, depending on when the phone arrives.

Technically Ajax is waiting on Gaunt to talk back. I'm sorry to say but I'm pretty much going to entirely ignore your characters until I can see that you've got a more workable post schedule up Kalamadea, this shit's ridiculous. Anyone interacts with your characters and they get stuck in limbo for days on end, where the only way of getting out is going "well fuck that guy I was interacting with, moving on".

Which is why I'm working out a quick post to get you free, so you don't have to just pull out like that. EDIT: Not my best post ever, but it ought to free up Ajax, Okuu, and Cirno to go mess around elsewhere. Or give leeway for me to post tomorrow, depending on how those characters respond.

I imagine this is always open, and we currently have some 14 people in the roleplay, with varying degrees of posting regularity but all still technically playing. Right now we're at a lull between worlds, having completed Ocarina of Time Legend of Zelda and about to move on to First Age Middle Earth any day now. We use Cynosure, a pan-dimensional city from the Grimjack series of comics, as a hub world. Something to note is that our GM, Kalamadea, technically isn't. Since he's quite busy and has an erratic posting schedule pretty much anyone can act as a GM and introduce changes to the world or shape encounters and whatnot beyond boss enemies, which are usually placed under control of a player and are supposed to be a challenge.

Ah, a man who appears completely normal, a 'player' like you... who pulls out science fiction items, throws master-level spells with abandon, and has Spyro and Fox on his side, along with a small aggravating horde of Zerg and MechWarrior walkers

this is hardly what I would consider a "hacker" or relate to the word "hacker". It mostly just looks like "well I can do or summon all this stuff I think is cool".

You misunderstand. Ever read James Dashner's (The Maze Runner guy) book "The Eye of Minds"? It's really interesting, and provides some very unique plot-twisters. No, he's a hacker not because he's summoning them, but because he stuck his virtual hand through the firewalls and the virtual world itself, and pulled different things from different, other 'realms' or whatever, to serve his purpose. For example, he may just reappear elsewhere every time you try to throw a fireball at him, or try to shoot him, neatly avoiding you. He may pull the armor from your very shoulders, and leave you in a pink kitty outfit for his personal amusement. Not summoning- breaking and entering in an instant, more like.

We're not in a virtual universe anymore. Almost everyone agreed it was dumb, and we ditched the idea.

Then get the GM to update the OP- that would be really nice. For example, you can start by telling newcomers that the OP isn't accurate anymore, instead of letting them go on from faulty information. And, don't expect people to already know- most don't sift through all the pages before posting.
