I feel as if Bal'Tazor and the Flesh That Hates would be good friends.

Let's say that Dahlia and her Iron Brigade are roughly six miles south of the northernmost Town/Small City on the map. I assume you're just curious.

Speaking of curiosity, are @Cale Tucker, @The 42nd Gecko, or @yoshua171 still around? I'd assume not, since they haven't even been online in some days, which is quite disappointing.

If Bal'Tazor and The Flesh That Hates ever met, I would actually think the interactions would be quite swell for the two as they are both horrid abominations. It would be funny if the person that Bal'Tazor was chasing was actually heading towards the village that the Snatcher originally attacked.

*Is still quite present* I'll hopefully have time to begin here soon enough. Just been working on the RPs I GM and working out my RL situation. I still have this RP in my subscriptions and I look at it here and there.

My my, this thread has been busy.

Welcome to the team, @Nthitho12.

BBeast, I was going to wait until either the villages or Reginaldus responded to the creepy crawlies coming out and killing those two guys.


I'll cover that in my next IC post then, along with other things (we've got the military checking up on The Flesh (so good timing with that new Rogue), and responses to the missing family, although Tecknonik may have something planned first so I'll let him do that first). I hadn't covered it yet because no response would be made until the following day, but I think that's come by now.

The Keepers are currently unknown, by and large. Currently, knowledge of beings which are Keepers rests with the Journeymen, the town near Naoto, the town near the Flesh, and (vaguely) Reginaldus. There have been no further cases of discovery yet, and even those cases are pretty minor in magnitude, nothing to make a random bunch of cultists aware of an existential threat. That said, random cultists could summon Bal'Tazor for some other random reason (eg. secretly been plotting against the Cypriots and having guarded their dreams to prevent discovery).

And Lugubrious, would you be able to make a short compendium entry summarising the Journeymen? They're important NPCs, so they should be recorded.

I may have time for an IC post tomorrow. If not, maybe Sunday.

For Naoto, it is still night time. After my next post they should be inside the dungeon, where a timeskip could happen, leading to the morning.

But, before that point, I wouldn't mind the guards following the trail left behind. So far the trail consists of the family's house being empty, a broken door, a man that spotted the group leaving town, a guard having returned from the warehouse sitting several minutes outside of town, a possibly dead body at said warehouse, burn marks at said warehouse, and then a trail from the carts being pushed into the forest.

I'll be responding tomorrow (I think) to make my post of them making their way to the dungeon, and starting the construction through the night. So, any response towards Naoto's wake that he left is alright, as long as it doesn't prevent said plans I had planned from happening. Unless you want to disrupt that, being GM and all you have the right to.

Oh yeah, if you saw in my last post there were the guards slowly making their way to the warehouse. So you can always control that if you want to, control the investigation!

I joined a low-fantasy nation RP (its link is in my sig) and we're still looking to get a few more people before we start. If any of you feel that you could take on another RP I encourage you to check it out; it's an advanced RP rather than a casual one like this, but I think that you guys could handle it.

I am sorry, Cyclone, but I am already too involved with a bunch of RPs. if I'm able to shake one or two off I'll certainly check it out.

My next post will come after Kaben responds. By the way, Kaben, you could stand to post on HOB. Something very attention-grabbing has just happened in Survival class.

If you have an idea for a rogue being that someone else can control, I don't see a prob with that. But its up to Bbeast or one of the others to decide that.

Remember, I did offer a while back to be your first construct. As once a rogue being serves a keeper, they essentially becaome a construct of theirs, but with the difference of not being under their control fully or other negatives. Also the choice of leaving the keeper, if I'm correct.

EDIT: Every time I do this I feel like I'm, I don't know, not in my place. So let me know if i go out of bounds, so to speak.

Rogue Beings are made by one player and serve the Keeper of another. For reasons of balance and interaction, you are not allowed to pair your own Keeper and Rogue Being. The nature of a Rogue Being's servitude and bond to a Keeper is entirely up to the players involved. It could vary from verbal agreement to work together to the Rogue Being becoming permanently bound to the Keeper like a Construct.

While the Journeymen have rejected her, some sort of understanding might still be come to with the spirit Providence itself.
