Do you really think I am so cruel that I would give you such a bull experice? Well, maybe i have given that impression, but no, you can fight, you can struggle, and you can win. The odds will be stacked against you and against better logic, you may lose. But there's always a chance to win, to turn a situation around from bad to better. It just requires all of us to work together as friends rather than opponents. The worse thing you can do is give up; there is no mercy for quitters. Victory needs to be earned, defeat can be denied.

She is a burned sack of meat and broken bones. What am I supposed to do, bleed at them? II couldn't even get my 1x1 with Grey, people had to keep 'helping' and demons had to keep jumping in.

I cant speak for the others, but Lucilia is just making sure that Orleah doesn't take potshots at Grey. The fact he's still alive makes him much more useful to Lucilia, since she now has someone who can match Heus strength while she deals with finishing off the demons. Besides, she's a support type anyways. Of course she's going to help out however she can.

As for Alaira, she's done her part. More demons will come, sure, but now were ready to defend the Infirmary from them. The guards and healers can bunker down the hatches until reinforcements arrive, which should be soon.

All of this has really inspired me with ideas for Ssarak, and the whole building the story thing Lucius is talking about. With what I mentioned before about communication, I think I should probably talk about it, but it's 3 AM and I don't really have time. Practically everyone should expect messages from me at some point. Goodnight.

First off, you choose Alaira's end result which Lucius told you that it won't take much magic to take out the demon and would leave Alaira with some energy. That was your choice, not ours. We only lessen the damage as we can't account or be responsible for every single PC reaction while IC. If you didn't want it to happen, then Please, next time don't do it when we suggest not to.

Grey can't really win against Heus, first off you're hitting him in the head. It won't knock him out even with 10 hits because it's literally hollow, merely makes him pissed and if Grey kills Heus, Khan dies. Which to be honest, he's already crippled from Lucilia's current actions so too much more he's not waking up. So forgive me for preventing that Free as I don't think Grey will forgive himself for killing the Headmaster.

To be honest, it isn't really. How would she know it'd only take a little bit? That's meta-gaming. If it turns out badly there's nothing I can do about it. Could I just have her jolt it a bit and walk away unscathed? Yes. Would I prefer to do that? yes. Would she do that? no. Alaira's personality flaws must end badly for her, otherwise she is merely a power fantasy jerk-sue.

Heus.

Wait, If I can't non-lethally subdue him then how can we stop him? What's the point of fighting? I was thinking that while enormously powerful, Heus is significantly less dangerous alone than when directed by Khan thanks to his stupidity. Is it possible to win in direct confrontation? No, but Grey should be able to utilize superior cunning and mobility to knock him out or at least tire him out by himself, with some luck.

Lucius explained this already...

In exchanged for basically physical invincibility, it has a major flaw: Elemental magic. That doesn't include Vitamancy as it's magic for the body, look at what Althalus's decay did to it? The arm was decayed completely off and Althalus is a novice, with little to no training. Mar tried to crush the demon, nothing. I didn't just let that happen for just kicks you know, it's because she doesn't have its weakness. Lucius thought she had pyromancy, but when I pointed it out, he didn't change it instead we thought about bring in Alaira as it would easier for her handle then Mar or Althalus, even Aramir who is throwing up blood from blood sickness. Even she caused it massive pain in her state.

He's also in a blind rage, with no direction and is lashing out at everyone, including the other demons. Orleah is about to be crushed which might kill Khan from that fact alone, not to mention Rathel's trying to strangle himself, so two demons deaths are going to be hell on those runes. There is a way to subdue him but you can't expect just trying the same boring tactic will work. All you've tried is bopping him on the head thinking that even though it didn't work the first time, it would work the 2nd or 3rd. Free come on, how is that cunning?

If you're not sure how to subdue him, pm me a bit. Ask questions and figure out what might work and what doesn't before making a post.

And to answer your question with tiring him out, think about who Heus was. You have a better chance out smarting and out maneuvering him. However...repeating the same thing over and over won't cut it.

How would I know if it works or not if I missed all those other times? :I
Aaand if we're gonna get technical, he isn't all that cunning, just more cunning. Which isn't saying much. It's like saying I can outsmart drywall.

My process with big foes is this: Try something five times. If it doesn't seem to have an effect, he's immune. I would do only one try, but some enemies are so large you can't significantly damage a weak point in one blow, thus I continually strike somewhere until I am SURE it doesn't work.

So, I was thinking of buying a new model tank, and which one of these looks better,

It's for the Dark angels, which is why I didn't immediately go with the flamethrower one.

The Tearing Claw Cabal was an exceptionally fierce cabal from Commoragh. They were notorious for launching massive, surprise attacks on poorly defended worlds. The entire Cabal would attack in one fell swoop, overwhelming the defense of the world and carrying off its hapless denizens as slaves. This tactic would prove their undoing, however, when they attacked the Imperial world Aenean Scalamus.

It was a backwater hive world, whose manufactora provided the sector's naval and guard forces with ladders and folding chairs (an essential if inglorious service). The world seemed easy pickings, its defenses consisting only of some twenty thousand PDF personnel, and a small middle aged man with a baby.

Only ten members of the Tearing Claw Cabal survived the assault on Aenean Scalamus. All quite mad, their tales of the attack were clearly nonsense. To this day they provide endless amusement for the Dark Eldar, and some consternation for their torturers. "I've tried everything, but nothing makes them freak out more than holding a ladder and saying, 'I don't want no trouble.'

Rtron's NPC was made to more of a team effort villain then solo Cross, not to mention even the Masters would have trouble with him when battling alone. Annabeth's coming to join the fray and I'm only waiting on you to tell me when you need help as I still have Frost and Abaddon on standby to give Cynn a little pick up and bring him down to her level a bit.

Keep in mind the NPC Teachers are there not to steal anyone's thunder but to assist. Frost would lower his speed and Abaddon would heal and quicken Cynn in an attempt to even the field.

I know that. I sent Lucius the pad URL, I figure where I stopped is a good enough space for Annabeth to jump in.
