If Athalus does give Keri blood she will definately get Lyn out of there. As well as a protect her. Keri is what I like to call a flawed character. When I say her body remembers specific traumatic events I mean it. It's like her sixth sense in a way. As well as a warning system to others as well as her 4 different eye colors which are red, crimson, blood, and black. With Ellys it will be pain in her limbs. With her maker her scar become as clear as the day she was turned. And so forth... Granted she does tends to go beserker mode when her eyes are pitch black and so much amount of pain snaps her out but it's instinct so she can learn. Ex: Ellys used her tail mainly then her spear. If Keri ever faces her again she'll know what attacks to do and what attacks not to do. It's how I make my pcs. This is one of the reason I don't put my heart fully into the CS.

This is just my opinion plus some adivse and it seems to work for me though I'm not quite sure about you since you maybe different. The CS is just more of guidelines. Pretty much ideas that are placed with bits of details added in. There will never really be a "perfect character" in any RPG. If there is then either one or two things will be noticed, that is if your paying close attention. One is they may seem to be in god mode. Always perfectly dodging attacks no matter how impossible it maybe. Or two they can't make them come to life completely. Take Mar for example. She was at one point nothing but voiolent towards Athalus for wanting to be in Lyn's life but as time went on she learned she had to change. Another example is the ever so lovely Colette. From what I understand she has never shown anger like she has now in the catacombs. What I'm trying to say is that it's not so much the CS you should let get close to it's the character themselves. Once a character touches your heart you will never truly lose them. In a way they will be as if they are a real person. Each flaw, tick, problem, or event will help grow the love. That's what happened with Keri and another RPG character of mine. It's also fine being pumped about an RPG. My advice make the CS how you want it as well as the GMs advise, take your time, if you have to throw ideas in the ooc just to see what people will suggest, and if, luck this helped, put your heart for your PC in the IC. I don't really think you can find goofier and cooler people anyway else. As well as GMs who are willing to help you and at time joke around as well. Hope this helps you. All in all just have fun with it :D

Not sure but does the blood Keri might need to heal, have to be human @Lucius Cypher or will Cosh blood work as well? *hints at @Demonic Angel* I know animal blood works which the Cosh are monsters, but still flesh and blood in a sense.

It doesn't have to be human, but it does have to be mortal. Elves, Dwarves, Eyesires, Naga even. But not Cosh, as I'd assume they're some sort of animal. Basically, if it can't be a vampire (Or already is a vampire), a vampire can't feed from it.

Naga can't become Vampires though, but I assume they can still provide some substance due their heritage origins. Yes, which is why I had to ask. I swore you mentioned animals were able to be devoured by vampires but maybe that was another conversation completely. I thought I might've gotten an idea for solving Keri's issue and possibly killing off some enemies in the same stroke, but meh.

I can't say I know enough about the naga to give a yes/no about them being vampires. What matters is if Aarem is willing to accept their souls/has a soul to give, so assuming nagas are not soulless beings they're free to give it to whomever, be it Aarem or their creator deity. Or so I figured. But generally, yeah, I'd assume nagas can be fed off by a vampire for the purpose of feeding.

And a vampire can try to feed off animals to trick their hunger, but not to gain the actual benefits of drinking blood. If keri were to say, mortally injured and needs to drink, she can survive off of animal blood for a few days to prevent herself from going feral due to her injuries. But drinking animal blood won't help her heal her wounds any quicker nor would it actually help make her feel less hungry.

I'd compare it to say you wanting to eat some real food, but all you're doing is drinking water. Sure it's not bad for you (Relatively speaking), but it's not going to solve the problem you have right now.

If keri does drink the Cosh Blood, it may help her get over some of the more psychological blocks she's having, like the possible pain of having broken bones. But it won't heal them. It'll just let her ignore them as if they weren't broken.
