@Darcs: Okay, there's still some other issues I have after some thought.

I honestly don't see the point in making her half-Nem. ^^; It's just that, well, you made her part Nem and then don't really give her any traits of them? Aside from black hair and being lightly built but those aren't exactly unique to Nem.

And I'm still kind of unsure of random effects like that, but I'm having trouble making a decision there given I don't know exactly what you'd be going for. I think I'd prefer a less chance-based form of magic. I'm sorry for making this many more requests after you've been cooperative so far.

@Lugubrious: The dungeon looks cool(tree dungeons are awesome really) but I have some questions. Since there's definitely no Jungles in Velt, I assume they'd be heading South to reach this place? Also what is your idea for the Biomancer guild?

@Lord Santa: Hmm. I am worried about there being some overlap that's too direct, in this case. Maybe work on him playing off of our dwarf rather than overlapping too much?

@NobleArchangel: Okay, I'm going to ask something of you as a general thing to High Elf players. It's not a negative point on your bio or anything, it's more just since most High Elf settlements are beyond the Veil of Tears in the far west I think it would be a good idea to get some backstory explanation. There's some on this side of the Veil(which will get an entry once I decide more beyond its elvish name being Lethienvel), but they're few and far between and likely more hidden. Basically, for High Elves I'd like a bit of explanation on their backstory. It's not required but I recommend it. Your bio looks fine, though.

@ThePatriarch: I'll look at this bio when it's completed.

@Scarifar: I like the base idea(thought it reminds me I should get some stuff up about undead), but I'm a little sketchy in involving another dimension entirely in this case. There are some pretty terrible things in deep places of the world, so it could be something potentially called from there?

South, sure. As for the Guild, it's just a small society of mages based in the city of Virens that are responsible for planting and magically growing both crops and trees to be cut down for lumber.

Alright, here he is.
Name: Alrik Ironheart
Age: 36
Gender: Male
Race: Human (from Barukstaed, which I assumed had a Nordic influence to it.)
Class: Champion

Appearance:
Standing at 6'4" with a build of pure, large muscle, he's quite the intimidating/comanding figure. He's got a strong face to mach, with a pronounced chin and large nose, thick eyebrows, and blue-grey eyes. A long scar runs diagonally alongside the bridge of his nose, just under his right eye, and down to the edge of his face. His long, dark hair is tied back, and keeps his face trimmed to a thick stubble.

Personality:
Alrik is an example of the classic 'grizzly with a teddy bear underneath.' Despite his outward appearance and sometimes gruff mannerisms, he's a big old softie (especially for children). He isn't known for his intelligence (not to say he's dumb), though he's just short of a strategic genius. Those who know him personally remember him for his good humor and overall jolly-ness, and those who meet him on he battlefield remember him for his courage and the fervor with which he swings his mighty axe.

He was raised with a particular set of values honoring family, honesty, hard work, and helping others. Definitely Lawful-Good.



Equipment:
In addition to his heavy armor and thick black cloak, he carries a battleaxe and large tower shield, named Astrid and Ingrid (after his sisters) respectively.

Abilities:
With the heavy axe and tower shield, he's obviously not he most agile combatant, though his crushing blows are powerful. Basically the slow bruiser / mighty glacier with some party support thrown in.

Yeah, it was mostly for flavor, I mean, she also had trouble pronouncing 'b's, and I didn't write it, but I wanted her to have slight dark vision.

Still, fixed, made her Half-Wood Elf/Half-Human. (I'm still having her spend some of her formative years around the New though, because that 'b' thing seems like a really fun quick to play with)

Made her less of a random Gambler, more of a Witch with a Gambling attitude and occasionally unreliable magic.

Updated Alrik's profile. Mostly just added a real bio, but I made some changes in other places. I actually typed the profile up on the way home from a Christmas Eve party last night, so I wasn't 100% there originally. Now he's pretty solid, I think.

@Vita: I edited my character's backstory. It's not much, but throughout the RP I'll fill in the rest with dialogue and such. I also changed his name. If there is anything else I need to edit, feel free to let me know.

@Exodus: Going to give you some time to find pictures, but the bio seems mostly fine. I do have a question, though, why is he called a Warlord? It's a little misleading, I'd go with something like "Tower Warrior" because of his shield.

I'd really have liked if you discussed vampires with me beforehand, I do want everyone intending to bring in a new race to do so. Shadow manipulation is also rather vague, and while I said backstory is optional I'd like to know what this promise he made is.

@NobleArchangel: Okay, most of it is fine but there's one glaring thing that I am sorry is not yet in the first post. High Elves probably do not fight one another due to the origins of the Veil of Tears. At the very least High Elves beyond the Veil don't.

I'm sorry, I'll be getting up an entry on why very soon.

Alright, I was drawing inspiration from the Ayleids from the Elder Scrolls. A lot of times the Ayleid city states would fight amongst themselves. I have nothing to go by in terms of lore so that is what I fell back on.

Crippling Wave: Slow enemies attack speed
Concussion: Enemies deal less damage
Scorpion Sting: Chance to stun
Blinding Flash: Blinds
Penitent Flame: Instil fear
Arcane Mines: Place mines of magical energy
