Seems okay to me. I'd be nitpicking if I complained about how convenient it is that Hanlon's treachery was never uncovered.

The rest depends on how much Aaron wants to involve the Courier. I am under the impression that Courier involvement is being kept to a minimum (pretty much limited to chasing Ulysses) so as to avoid contradictions and prevent people from making claims involving the Courier that don't really make sense or fit with what has been decided for the plot. Like, it'd be weird if one player claims the Courier helped the NCR, and then another player says the Courier helped the Legion. To avoid that, I figured we'd be limiting Courier involvement to following Ulysses. But again, it's up to Aaron. We'll see what he says when he's back.

Pretty much.

We can assume that he followed one of the paths that involved the Platinum chip but ultimately did not side with House for certain. He also destroyed the Securitron army so he probably wouldn't be in deep with Yes Man. In the end his endeavors didn't really matter as they did since he fell to, or Ulysses convinced him to destroy the NCR and Legion's missions in the Mojave. Ulysses himself disappeared.

Probably the only parties who in the end would have an idea oh the scale of The Courier's actions would be NCR intelligence or the Legion Scouts. But the actions of the former Courier wouldn't matter since the Legion is broken down into a collection of squabbling claimants and the NCR is dealing with intensive self-examination and the Mojave has basically fallen off their long-term map.

So I hope it isn't too much of a bother if I hop on in here. I don't want it back or anything- I was merely the creator of the title. You made everything else, so I merely wish to be a part of this. Experience NRP for the first time.

I've played FallOut 2 before. Great game.

I know for a fact that FallOut games always have weird, mutated beasts roaming all over. I was wondering if I could play as a nation full of my own original sentient race.

They will be very very physically strong and its army will consist of the tankiest tanks in this RP. But I will make it so that they are absolute simpletons barely capable of basic arithmetic or military tactics. They will be warlike, and will be savage in combat capable of great physical feats.

So... can it be accepted?

Nation: The Enclave
Location: Pearl Harbor
Icon:
History: After the fall of the oil rig. As some of the forces moved east or stayed in the west trying to hide among the citizens Captain Luke Conrad a ace Vertibird pilot took his squadron of 3 Vertibirds to Pearl Harbor. After it had been such a hope in World War 2 Once again he hoped it would inspire Nationalism among the population. With the 2 Vault in Hawaii filled with pure Americans the Captain easily got them to rejoin the New United States with Honolulu as it's capital. Through the generations The Enclave was able to find more working armor in Pearl Harbor and some bombers however they didn't have the materials to make more and the populace is growing to large they must expand east once more. Also what started as a military dictatorship is slowly turning into a republic with a small senate of 15 chosen leaders and one Supreme Chancellor. While the Supreme Chancellor is normally a civilian leader it's most recent one was a general by the name of James Conrad. His promise of expansion and reclaiming american earned him the votes soon he'll need the senate support.

Name:The American Reunification Effort (NCR)
Location: The Hub
History: After the fall of the nukes and lose of the Dam these Patriotic Americans wish to find the enclave and reunite with them while the numbers are small with power declining and food shortage this small rag tag group may rise to the leadership role of the NCR. (The Leader Mena Daily was implanted by the enclave forces to secure support for the arrival)

Only one. And if you could write more, that's be appreciated.

Not to mention no one likes the Enclave anymore. They're widely known as being genocidal and no matter their shift in policies any faction in the NCR is very likely to knock them out. Being affiliated with the Enclave or its goals of American reunification is likely to not make you very popular and lacking proper support (the world is two-hundred years removed from the concept of America and it's not going to be a very strong popular claim anymore). So you could certainly try, but Hub police are going to be busting down some doors and pulling you off to court.

I'd rather not since the races involved in the Fallout world have pretty much remained consistent and it'd be weird to have to try and fit in something else. Not to mention I don't usually have good opinion or experience with non-conventional races in the first place. Fallout's races have the benefit of them being very well defined since the game came out and introduced the current core ones since the 90's (humans, ghouls, and super-mutants). Anything new that gets added tend to be more monsters than anything with a social structure akin to humans (Deathclaws*, Yao-quai, Tunnelers).

*There were Inteligent Deathclaws that have appeared in FO2, but they were presented as a super-minority of sort and I don't imagine would have branched out of the Vault the Enclave assigned them to guard or got assimilated well into existing communities. In all likelihood they would have been mixed in with the glorified retirement communities of The Master's army outside the reach of NCR.

@Dhin, what's your opinion on collaboration posts made on Sync.in or MeetingWords?

I've always used PMs myself. I never understood having to use something third party.

But, you have no personal objection to others using it? Also, I use Sync.in because it allows me and the other player to edit each other's words, as well as makes things easier to copy-paste.

Anyway, opinions on my longer Ranger History?

I think you're good.

And I personally don't mind. I've just never seen the point personally. And the guy whose going to post the post can do that anyways when they paste it and stitch it together in Word, Open Office, Notepad, or whatever.

Depends on if he'll go with them or the Enclave outpost. He can only have one. And even if I do accept him I still want one other major NCR faction. It'd be too loaded if it were the Rangers and some prospective building company.

I am considering picking up The Hub, but I am wary about finding myself overwhelmed since at this point The Hub is pretty much the most powerful state in the Republic.

Point taken. Anyway, a thought: Couldn't ViK select a nation of Super Mutants instead?
