[He is supposed to be absolutely perfect at everything he does](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXYfnWRp1Q0), because he is everything that the main Rimmer isn't. I just love the idea of him doing something awesome and then having somebody like Saber or Raiden go "What a guy..."

> Alrighty, I think people have missed the point of what I wanted to do with this character.

> Ace Rimmer is a stereotype, a James Bond through and through. He is both a blessing and an obstacle for his allies. being that he is human for all intents and purposes, he can't take on most of these big supervillains in a straight fight, as such, he is a support character.

> He is a character that provides moral support to the crew and a character that you may or may not choose to deal with. And dealing with him will be a challenge for your characters. You have to say to yourself "This is the most charming man in the universe, a man that can charm a zombie woman into becoming a vegetarian. How do I deal with him, yet stay true to the character?" See, one thing I love about Multiverse RP's is that they are throwing characters into situations that they have never dealt with before and seeing how they get out of it. Example, in one of the RP's on the old forum, we had Ezio from Assassins Creed getting chucked into the Pokemon world. He caught a bunch of bird pokemon to help himself, then used them to help him try to defeat Darth Vader. In the same RP, Tommy from Power Rangers had to go up against some Stormtroopers, and there was a whole moral dilemma part, since Tommy has never actually killed a human being before.

> So, the rules have changed. This man is like nothing your characters have ever encountered before. Most of you don't believe he can exist outside of a badly written spy novel. The big dilemma for those around Ace is "How does your character react to a black-hole sue? Do they fight him? Embrace him? Try to kill him before he can infect you?" I specifically love the idea of one character becoming aware of Aces effect on them and trying, every time they see him, not to start giggling like a lovesick schoolgirl.

> >"Oh god there he is... I'm not going to do it this time." thought Ryuko. "Not this time."
> >
> >"Well hello there, little lady." Ryuko started to giggle before grabbing her own mouth shut. Ace looked puzzled at her but simply patted her on the head and walked away. Ryuko continued to hold her mouth.

> >"What a guy." Senketsu sighed. Ryuko then let her hand down from her mouth and, with a lovesick expression mumbled

> I dunno, I thought it could be a bit of fun. If people really don't like him, i'll leave him out, but I thought he could be a fun character for people to play off. I mean, people absolutely love Deadpool being in RP's like this. Deadpool is a gamechanger for any character outside of Marvel... And most characters inside Marvel...
Absolutely despise Deadpool being in things like this, because 99% of the time, people get it horribly, *horribly* wrong. And what you're saying is that you think it's amusing to force everyone to act massively OOC around a character that exists just to be a comedic parody. Have you considered that maybe, just maybe, enforced stupidity in a non-100%-comedy RP is bad?
