Unfortunately until I figure the issue out, I'm left restarting the servers every once in a while or catching the issue live since I keep the server analytics open in a tab.

Tomorrow I will make some bigger changes in an effort to narrow down the issue.

Edit: I'm beginning to think that these issues are caused by updates in the Guild's underlying dependencies.

I think it's fair for people to be able to delete messages on their own wall, I just must've never implemented it.

I turned on signatures for the first time in a year (forgot about it) and noticed that some people's signatures are broken or massive or — like mine was — outdated.

I'm going to change the system so that you always see your own signature even if you have your preferences configured so that you can't see others. It's only fair.

A feature to see Friend's Only statuses, please.

Recently I noticed a lot of statuses that are, uh, let's just say mood-dampening, and it's ruining my chill time every time I get to the homepage.

Blocking someone's status messages was my first thought but it seems a bit harsh. I'm just here to roleplay, not blacklist people because their attention-mongering tendencies remind me of midteen days.

I wouldn't mind looking at statuses that are negative if they're my friends or acquaintances who feel down - I know them so I care.

But randoms who seem to have conversations on the sidebar back and forth, back and forth, when there's Chat, PM, Spam, Off Roleplay, and VM are ... annoying? Not chronic, but still awry to see when I wake up. Especially when the status is meant to rib someone or shame a particular group with differing opinion. There's Facebook for that, folks!

There's a lot that needs to be done with the VMs, PMs and the Statuses.

From what it feels like, the Statuses are meant to be a bit like a twitter feed, a place to just mention something silly and fun, or promote a Roleplay. What could be added is a system, similar to Facebook's feeds, where you can select your favourite users and their feeds will come up before others. Its not blocking, but it'll help promote your friend's statuses and if you don't like seeing the negative comments, just deselect them so their status messages go back into the normal rotation.

That way the side bar can be used for your friends, and clicking on a link will expand that out to the forum's listings.

Yeah! I was upset that my suggestion will make me lose out on potentially interesting roleplay ads! Guess I'll go back to my first plan: option to block someone's status appearing on my feed, please. I liked making funny Status posts and looking at other Status posts.

I stopped because I don't know wtf people were thinking when things started to get a lot more personal with Statuses. An option to modify the list really would be helpful for myself to see what my friends have to say.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's experiencing frustration / mood drops because of the same 2-3 people have decided to use the status bar as their dumping ground to vent about their middle-school level, oh so important internet culture related problems. Or you know, hating on certain groups of people.

But yeah, a way to unsubscribe from someone's statuses would be appreciated. Or a way to hide the status sidebar altogether, even though that's a shame because there is a lot of positive and fun stuff that happens there!

1) I'm getting the application error about 50% of the time.

2) For the status bar, a dislike button the hides that specific status, with the option to black list players that you keep hiding. Restricting it to just your friends would make it rarely if ever move (I know none of mine update their status) but there are a couple of people that are constantly annoying me. Even better would be a system to allow you to pick one (or more) of these options. However, @Mahz we don't need any of this before you get everything stabilized, so don't worry about this until your ready.

Idk, dislike button to me opens up a can of worms, like gang-bullying. It also cuts them off their own cliques which is kinda oppressive. I mean, yeah, I'm allergic to teendom, but I never want to ostracize any folk. Loneliness breeds a darn load of emotional issues.

Wouldn't it be easier to just have a 'hide all statuses from user' option? Fully anonymous, so no worries about fermenting rivalries or whatnot, and you can always enable and disable it at will.
