[OOC] Massive Multiversal Crossover

Well... to be frank, I don't think any of our player UMMA characters were particularly available for that scene anyway? At least out of the ones I've posted, I could be wrong. At the moment I'm kind of stretched thin, so, um... It might be better to go for a stealthier approach for a lot of reasons, one of which being that it lightens my potential load as GM a bit. ^^;

By all means, feel free to continue the assault. Just know that Hampus and Our Hero weren't designed to take a bullet, and so will largely be staying back and trying not to be targeted.

To be fair, it does seem to be in Medic's personality to behave this way. I mean he is of the TF2 universe after all. However yeah Ridley won't enjoy the overly aggressive maneuver, especially when things could be negotiated. But he's also realist, there's no way the Red Queen nor the C Virus would be given for free. So conflict was bound to happen. As for fodderizing. Well the soldier NPC's in Resident Evil are quite lackluster next to the Multiverse standards so it's only normal that they get ass raped. Plus they're not killing innocents who didn't ask for anything, they're associated with Umbrella (Or Neo). If anything, UMMA should kill them off too. The BOW's however are going to kill most of the soldiers quite easily, leaving the main protagonists of the invasion the freedom of elaborating whatever they want. I trust CourierSix will find great monsters for you all to play around with. I'll wait for Flamelord to post as Cinder Fall. If in a few hours it isn't done I'll just post with Ridley.

Also yeah, if the UMMA gets involved they're... probably there to take out Umbrella if anything. ^^; That's kind of a good point. I'll also be making another IC post later, ideally.

The reason I'm complaining is because nonstop combat that boils down to barely selling attacks from other players and killing droves of nameless npcs isn't very fun to me.

Believe me, I'm going to be ending the fights that I am directly involved in as soon as it makes sense IC. ^^; I hardly want this RP to be endless combat. That's not very fun and it's also difficult to GM.

Sorry Earnest. With the characters I'm using, I'm pretty much forced to go "shoot first and ask questions later" if I'm to be true (enough) to their characters. And, admittedly, perhaps endless combat is not the best way to go in rp's. And, sadly, I'm the type to have characters that prefer violence over talking things through, so I apologize if all I do is create violence.

Shame Ridley's planning to shake UMMA a bit, however it will be under the form of a planet siege, so there'll be time to be free of stuff. UMMA OC's could come if some think it's best or if anyone's free. I'm not promising a fight, however, as circumstances could make tables shift quite easily.

I mean sure he'd gleefully let his test subjects/allies get into horrible firefights if it meant he could see how his experiments and creations stack up but still, he hardly seems the type to get a bunch of random mooks and lead an assault, more like he'd take interest in and hang around the Ork, the Wizard or Ridley to discern how they work and maybe use the first two as infinite test subjects and the like. Just my 2 cents on Medic, "shoot first and ask questions later" seems like it defines everyone in TF2 but him and Spy.
