Energon is the life blood that flows through all Cybertronians, and they use it as weaponry, food, currency and much more. It also is part of the blood of Primus, a divine entity that exists to oppose Unicron. It also has been shown to be harmful to human/organic life. Also, does that technically make all Cybertronians demigods?

Then yes, it is harmful, although he would have to be very close. Soundwave will be most relieved by that fact, as his weapons are powered by Energon (that's how he doesn't have to reload.). May he never be exposed to Dark Energon.

Hey, Vita? What limitations are there on powers? Because I was considering using a character with some kind of art-based power. The whole 'creating other superpowers' thing would need to be removed or limited, obviously, but what do you think?

Powers are judged on a case-by-case basis. Mind control, time control(aside from the World's severe nerf), reality warping, and a very few others are absolutely unacceptable, though.

It's pretty powerful, and would be a one-hit-kill for a lot of characters (the wording of it makes it seem like Aura, etc, wouldn't block it, at least to me). So long as characters can still dodge it and it's not spam-able, though, it should work out alright.

It can be dodged and it's impossible to spam since it's got a fairly long cooldown. I was thinking magical weapons(best example is Excalibur right off the top of my head, I'm sure there's others in our bios) or active defenses can block it, but passive barriers can't. So dodging is the safest defense.
