He does his best in classes but his best tends not to be just barely good enough. His outwards personality is in part because of this, as he tries to counter what he deems his own lack of intelligence with an extroverted personality. - Weapon: Cyrul is equipped with the Cheshire Grievance, a transforming weapon. It has three modes. Active, Melee Mode: In its melee mode, Cheshire Grievance is made up of two large machete like blades facing inwards like a pair of scissors, with the last half of the backside of the blade being edged and serrated as well. They attach to a pair of mechanical arms connected to a large, two handed hilt approximately half the length of the blades. (Blade length: 4’6”. Handle length: 2’8”. Total length with arms fully extended forward: 8’) Active, Ranged Mode: In ranged mode, one of the blades pulls back along the hilt, the back of it being a grip, including a trigger. The top blade aligns with the hilt, extending the barrel and allowing it to function as a light machine gun. Lastly, the hilt flips up into a sort of carrying handle. Stored Mode: In stored mode both blades pull back against the hilt, latching into a slots (built around the main handholds and leaving enough space for it to be grabbed) while the far half of both blades retracts inside the closer half, leaving it approximately the size of a mid-size shield which can be attached to a clamp worn on Cyrul’s back. - Semblance: Damage reversal, which when activated will rapidly drain Cyrul’s aura, making it dangerous to use too much in a short period, but while active, any attack taken by Cyrul will instead hit the enemy, manifesting as an equal amount of force striking the same point as struck on Cyrul. - Backstory: Cyrul grew up loving adventure, even as a young child he would always venture too far from his house, and would be the first to try new things. So when he was old enough to attend Signal academy it wasn’t even a question for him if he was going to try and become a Huntsman. Now he’s finally reached Beacon, the last obstacle between him and his chosen career.

- **Name:** Timothy Raminov - **Age:** 17 - **Race:** Human - **Appearance:** Tim has spiky, unkept brown hair which covers his left eye. He wears square rimmed glasses that don’t really do anything for his vision. He usually sports a brown coat with an eye motif on the back of it, as well as black jeans and sabatons. Has a white world peace shirt. His right eye colour is brown, but his left eyeball is black and has a gold iris. That’s why he hides it. - **Personality:** Tim is an awkward and introverted and likes to keep his distance from people. In battle and tense situations, however, he tends to favour speed and efficiency. His awkwardness disappears and is seemingly replaced with skill. Tim is very analytical but he’s more of a follower than a leader. - **Weapon:** Tim’s weapon of choice is a massive great sword left behind by his older brother who was once a great huntsman, which he calls Carnage. Quite the contrary weapon to the seemingly meek Timothy. Turns into a light machine gun. When unneeded, Tim keeps the belt in an ammo box, but if he's prepared for battle, he wraps it around his right sleeve and it acts as a makeshift chain. - **Semblance:** Tim dubs his semblance the Soul Burn on account of the fact that it burns through his aura, but he mostly just calls it his power. When activated, his left eye seems to glow and his capabilities are greatly increased. The most apparent effect is the heightened regeneration capabilities which heal most wounds quickly. It also provides a boost to reflexes, speed and strength. The downside of Soul Burn is that the stronger the effects, the faster he drains his aura. He can also use it to have heightened perceptive powers (so he can see better) and reflexes, and he can also add cool effects like seeing all the living things and night vision. One thing to note is the fact that when Soul Burn is active, Tim can only use as much power as necessary. Another thing to note is that Soul Burn has the ability to regenerate severed limbs and damaged or partially destroyed internal organs, but this usually takes a lot of time and puts Tim in a coma-like state until fully healed. This can take anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks. That said, destroyed organs cannot be replaced, only damaged organs can be regenerated. The last thing to note is that using Soul Burn causes a certain degree of pain to Tim and makes him more aggressive and snappy. - **Backstory:** Tim was the second son of a family of successful hunters. Even though he was thin and weak, he had a good relationship with his older sister who was the best hunter of the family who believed in Tim’s potential. The family’s skill brought jealousy from those around them and their enemies conspired against them. One day, the enemies of Tim’s family trapped and killed the all of his family (including his older sister) and were about to kill Tim when a pack of Ursa ambushed and slaughtered everyone in the village. Tim became gravely wounded but his power activated to save him. Picking up Carnage, Tim went on an ursa hunting rampage destroying the pack of Ursa and then fell unconscious. When Tim came to, he was the only one left aive in a field of blood, carnage at his side. He was sent off to live with his distant aunty and uncle in another country and Tim works to be a hunter so that he can do his dead sister proud and be a good huntsman. No pictures, though. Name: Silus Kuroi Age: 18 Race: Reptilian Faunus Appearance: Silus is a tall and slight man, roughly 6'5 and weighing about 70 kg. He has long dark red hair, usually tied back in a low lying ponytail. His eyes are a blazing yellow colour with a black slit instead of pupils. His face is marked with slight bronze scales across his cheeks. Silus is built slight and compact, coiled muscles and a posture like he always is about to strike out. He generally wears scuffed up green jeans, a black leather jacket with no shirt underneath and a necklace with a snake's tooth upon it. Silus' Faunus features include a long reptilian tongue, scales adorning a few parts of his body and a scaled tail that requires him to cut a hole in his jeans. Personality: Silus is a unique case in terms of personality. He can vary from cold and silent to loving and happy. This all depends on whether or not he has spent some time in the sun. He adores laying in the sun and relaxing, warming up to anyone that talks to him in this state. As he cools down, his smile leaves and he becomes silent. Weapon: Dragon Rush is a set of two bracelets and two anklets. They are bronze in colour and look rather inconspicuous in their carry state. In battle state, they fold out becoming larger. The anklets fold out barrels pointing away backwards and the bracelets fold barrels out to reach his elbow. The end effect resembles metallic scales over his forearms and lower legs. Silus uses these barrels to fire out and using the momentum in his martial arts. His fighting style is very similar to Capoeira. Semblance: Dragon's Breath. A dangerous semblance that is usually formed in the Kuroi family. Silus has the ability to chew on Dust and breath out a violent storm of whatever type of Dust he has been chewing. This drains Silus incredibly and can be quite dangerous as many Kuroi have died due to Dust exploding in their mouth. Backstory: Silus was born to the Kuroi family, a long line reptile Faunus that generally were allied with Beacon in attempts to get Faunus accepted in normal society. Having the first born son, Silus become the first Reptilian Faunus to become a hunter is their greatest goal. Silus was groomed to be a perfect student, always attentive and always studying. This...failed. Silus is far from that and generally loves to work on instinct. Backstory to be finished.

In battle this can mean a small freak accident that trips up his opponent and gets him on top. - **Backstory**: Son of a deadbeat single father with a gambling addiction, Vincent got sold to an organised crime syndicate to pay of debts. But his old man kept on going, and the mafia decided the deadbeat was a liability. In the end it was Vincent that filled his father full of holes. The family required protection from him, and used his abilities in all manner of scams. In the end he was allowed, after he paid his father's debt tenfold back to the family, to attend Signal academy and become a hunter... Under the understanding that he would always be in their pocket. But before this he was required to do one final scam, he had to infiltrate the white fang. The family was relay one of the most progressive places for a faunus to work, they didn't care as long as you pledged yourself to them, but as a mainly human organisation they did at times feel threatened by the white fang. So he infiltrated the white fang and fed information to the family, which they used to make deals with the feds. In the end he was forced to leave the white fang, he couldn't agree with their radical views. When he got into the school, he made a mask of his own design to represent himself. - **Colour**: Vantablack

Probably a bit of a smart-ass. Foxes can be social and affectionate creatures, but often they aren't good at it, or don't know how at first. As such, Seilber can fall into this pattern. May become aggressive when an opponent is perceived as weak. **Weapon:** Spin Blade form, Bow (ranged, handles join in middle, string is energy, fires Dust based energy packets, regular or modified arrows), can be joined and thrown like a double bladed short spear/javelin. Carry mode: The necks telescope down, and the teardrop shaped heads join the handles, the handles swing out and snap into place, covering the blades, and each one can be slipped away into pockets, pouches, or kept with the blade heads out, but in short handle mode, or can simply be threaded through a belt. Can be used to leave behind an afterimage, or multiple images (such as Mirror Image spell), but can be used with a weapon to disguise which incoming attack is the real one, or can treat each illusion as 'real', but only the true weapon can kill. It allows rapid follow-up shots or strikes as the afterimage/mirage catches up and follows through. Very useful in confusing opponents, and providing a defensive and offensive edge. At high levels of use, aura can be manifested to be solid or semi-solid, but only for short periods. (more detail to follow) **Backstory:** Sielber has grown up under the racial persecution that plagues her kind, able to avoid much of it because of her more acceptable looks. Often perceived as 'cute' because of the pointy ears and a tail, this has lessened the blow somewhat. Still, it has lead her to be cautious, and perhaps even a bit fearful, hearing the horror stories told by other Faunas. Keeping people at arms length has been something of a defense mechanism, at least against humans. Finding more acceptance in the ranks of the Faunas, and at least one organization she has deigned to omit from her record she began to focus on some basic but rigorous combat training. Her natural agility, speed, sharp senses, and cunning allowed her to do well. Well enough that she applied to Beacon. Her main hope, was to protect her fellow Faunas, as well as provide something of a buffer against the racism experienced for her kind, by becoming an example (good or bad is unknown, but hopefuly good). She hopes that her kind do not take on sort of a guard-dog role for Humankind, as that would be a step in the wrong direction, but is instead seen on more equal footing. That's something worth fighting for. Is this the only reason for going to Beacon... maybe, maybe not. (GM if you want more info, I'll be happy to PM you the things I have in mind, and the details.)

Useful at various ranges. Dust can be used to modify the type of damage it does. Carry Mode: the blade folds in half, and the whole thing telescopes into a handle or stick about a foot, to a foot and a half long, like an Escrima stick. (can be a self defense tool in this form) usually carried on a thigh holster, boot/calf holster, or can be threaded through a belt, or something. ** Semblance:** Force Lance - This semblance creates a shaft of force, typically 3 feet wide, by sixty feet long, but can vary down to half an inch wide, but as width is narrowed, length can be extended. If the length is shorted, the width can be widened. It can be sent in any direction. This is pure force, or kinetic energy, which can be manifested in any direction, and the point of origin to the terminus can be determined at will. **Color:** Sage ** Backstory:** Salvia was born the daughter of a wealthy merchant, a man who used his abilities to travel and trade wares. When she was 6 her father was killed by the white fang, all because of a labor dispute. Her father wasn't really that bad to his faunus workers, times were just lean for all of them and they happened to be some of the only people he could hire. While many humans would have used this as an excuse for blatant speciesism. Instead, Salvia from that age on, fought for the rights of faunus. She believed that the only way that her father could have been saved would have been for the white fang to have never been needed. She hopes that she can rid the world of need for such measures, that's the only way.

Name - Nahbi Cho Age - 17 Race- Human Appearance - Personality - Nahbi can almost always be seen sporting a wicked grin, and is very easily entertained. She's not always the easiest to get along with, what with her obnoxious amount of energy and sarcastic remarks, but if she decides she likes you enough, you can be sure she'll stick with you through thick and thin – not that others often decide they like her. She enjoys messing with people, and is often too obtuse to read the situation and know when enough is enough. Nahbi's juvenile, falling easily into pettiness, but this also contributes to her child-like nature. She's a bit too naive for a world overrun by Grimm, and doesn't always seem to understand consequences or risks. Despite coming across as tactless and insensitive, she's actually very trusting. Weapon - Scatter and Flare Nahbi uses dual blades combined with her aura, which are incapable of changing form. For melee battles, Nahbi wields them in tandem, using fast, spinning movements. She uses them as conductors for her aura for ranged attacks: when slashed, Scatter shoots out razor sharp arcs of aura, to either cut or blow enemies away, and Flare creates a line of spikes made from her aura when stabbed into the ground. Overall, her fighting style is hit first, hit hard, and do it with style. Semblance - Vertical Teleportation Nahbi can teleport either straight up or straight down. She typically uses this for evasion, getting some altitude on an attack, or dropping down heights that would be too dangerous to fall. History - Nahbi chose to become a huntress because it sounds badass, plain and simple. Nahbi grew up watching the heroic deeds of hunters and huntresses on the news, and even took to playing "hunters and Grimm" with her two older brothers – though of course, the news reporters never covered the gruesome aftermath of battles they showed, or what happened when a huntress wasn't quite fast or strong enough to defeat her opponent. When Nahbi decided she wanted to be a huntress, her parents understandably shot the idea down. Her mom and dad were both very loving, if overprotective, and refused to even entertain the thought of their little girl fighting the monsters that haunted their dreams. Pouting and frustrated, Nahbi refused to let the issue drop, constantly bringing it up and even talking to her brothers about what sort of huntress she would be. Nahbi would run into the forest nearby in secret to practice, and actually got… pretty darn good. When her parents discovered dual blades hidden under her bed, along with books explaining how to utilize aura, it was the last straw. The fight was grand and gruesome enough to rival those that Nahbi always saw on the news, and when it ended with her parents confiscating her swords, Nahbi knew what she would do. That night she packed her things, stole back her swords, and ran away to Beacon, to officially start her training as a huntress and achieve her dream. Other - Nahbi likes butterflies. That's her thing. The windowsill in her room is lined with various butterfly figurines she's collected over the years, made of glass, metal, gemstones, wood, tissue paper… whatever she's managed to find, really. She likes figuring out new ways to fold paper into butterfly shapes when she's bored, and the meticulous nature in which she does so would surprise those who know her.

He is a feminist who believes in equality regardless of gender or rank. Due to his somewhat effeminate nature, high voice, and androgynous looks, he is often mistaken for a girl and admits to having a bit of a complex towards these questions. Nonetheless, Pim is a very motherly individual, typically protective and worrisome over the well-being of others. He is often seen making graceful expressions such as clasping his hands together and being tenderly affectionate. Like his grandmother, he has developed a green thumb and love of music and is fond of flowers and nature and playing his clarinet. Though preferring diplomatic resolutions and being slightly demure, he won't hesitate to snap at others for slipping with their manners or being impolite or selfish. Nonetheless, he is a social butterfly who feeds off the positive energy of others. In some instances, he can behave like an overprotective parent. -**Weapon**: Brilliance; This weapon is a Dust infused clarinet that shoots bullets which burst into what looks like fireworks or colourful sparkles. The strength of the bullets varies in degrees of power and intensity, and can range from a multitude of colorful sparkles capable of temporarily blinding a person to a powerful detonation capable of smashing objects and destroying property. He shoots the bullets by blowing into the clarinet. Furthermore, the clarinet has a blade attachment that can quickly protrude from the mouth. (After all is said and done, he can still just use his clarinet to play music.) -**Semblance**: Butterfly on Display; His semblance causes a pair of butterfly wings to appear out of the area of his back where the shoulder blades would be. These wings allow him to fly, are semi-transparent, iridescent, and luminescent, so it appears they give off a faint light and are made of some kind of tinted energy. Although the wings usually disappear when Pim lands, he can make them reappear if needed. If Pim is attacked and hit while in flight, the wings will disappear, and he will have to wait a short time before he can reform them. Sustained flight will slowly, but steadily drain his aura. So while he can fly for extended periods of time, he can't fly for too long. Increasing his speed of flight and carrying someone else while flying will further hasten the depletion of his aura and once that happens, his wings disappear. -**Colour**: Peach -**Backstory**: Pim is the son of Agatha Teagarden, a long time inventor of the modern era who re-devoted herself to the research of scientific and technological advancements after the death of her husband, Creed. When Pim was a very young boy, his mother became a employee of the academy, hired to further advance the technological efficiency of the school. Unfortunately, because this job was so time consuming, Pim was left to stay with his grandmother and 5 older brothers, some of whom are actually senior academy students themselves. Pim, although 16, was accepted into the academy because of his mother and his birthday being very soon. He hopes to live up to the reputation that his mother and older brothers set before him. The baby isn't as weak as everyone thinks. Like his grandmother would always tell him, "You are beautiful and you are brilliant". -Quote: "There there, you always having the sunrise and morning dew to look forward to..."

He is not particularly interested in whatever is going on around him, though he is observant and capable analyst. Unlike other Hunters he is not inherently violent or overly arrogant. Despite all this, he has a strong, deep routed sense of duty. On the handle, there are 2 triggers, the one on the right side fires the bottom right gun, and vise versa. Semblance: Nico has the ability to manipulate Kentic energy of a moving object. On a small scale, Nico can simply slow an attack down or push it of mark by a little, but on large scale, he can force an objects Kentic energy into potential, and cause it to explode. Color: Grey Backstory: Nico was born, adopted and raised in the great lands of Mistral. Ever since Nico was a child, he always avoided a relationship with his parents, choosing to stay in his room that to talk with them due to the fact that he was bullied at school by humans, and his parents were humans. He assumed that all of them were the same. This way of thinking did not get him far in life, he was always picking fights with humans, and always losing, by the time the fight started, he was already uninterested in what was happening. By the time Nico was 13, his parents traveled to the ruins of the old city, and never came back. Apparently, the group was attacked by Ursa, and we're not able to hold them back. This triggered and other fire of hatred in his heart, the hatred for the Grimm. Although his relationship with his adoptive parents may have been nonexistent, they still choose to adopt him, and the Grimm took them away. By age 15 Nico was sent to Signal, and forged weapon Ragnorok there. As time went on, Nico gradually began to change his opinion about humans, and began to be friend them. After about 2 years, Nico applied for Beacon, and was chosen to enroll in the school.

Adventurous. Loves to fight. Quite violent, and has a temper like a volcano, it simmers quietly until something pushes him past the edge and he just blows his top. He’s also kind, hates bullies. Little lazy when it comes to study. Partly nocturnal. Gets along fine with most people, but simply can’t stand others. Stays to himself mostly. **Weapon:** Tears of Blood, a pair of three, foot long claws, worn on the hands, that can down scale into spiked knuckledusters, or a sort of double knife. Also shrinks to a fingerless glove in its dormant form. **Semblance: ** **Backstory: **Asa was razed in a traveling caravan as a guard dog. Literally. He was treated like a wild animal, and so he became one. Living in a cage for part of the time and chained to it for the rest, the only time he was freed was to fight off Grimm. For him to survive was to fight. He became strong fast, he had to, it was kill, or be killed. He got his hands on a pair of knives at one point and created his own fighting style, quick and dirty, violent, close quarters, so that by the time he was finished he was drenched in Grimm blood, until, like the rest of the Grimm, it simply dissolved into a swirling cloud of dust. It was from that that he received his name, Karmozijn, meaning crimson. One time when they were heading to Vale they picked up a stranger also traveling there. This stranger was an ex-hunter, not that Asa knew that. Part way along their journey, Grimm attacked. Asa was let off his chain like usual and he fought with the Grimm, watched ever so intently by Oir the ex-hunter. When they reached Vale, Oir offered to buy Asa from the caravan, and with the amount of money he offered, there was no way the leader of the caravan could refuse. So Asa changed hands, and while he was no longer kept in a literal cage, he was confined to the house, and might as well have been in one. The collar, and chain however didn’t seem to change. Oir taught Asa more fighting, some etiquette, table manners, talking real words and understanding them. Basically Oir taught Asa to live in the human world. When Asa was sixteen, Oir, who had friends in high places, managed to secure Asa a spot at Beacon a year early, in the hope that Asa would be able to fight, and also, hopefully learn something. Whenever he runs into a situation that he can’t manage by himself, he conciders it a point of pride to get it done by himself, and as such he rarely asks for help, and never accepts it when it’s offered. He lives his life in waves, with varrying periods of long rests and intensive activities, so he is rather hard to predict. The long bow uses dust infused arrows that explode on contact. **Semblance**: Cognition *Passive*: When his semblance is first activated it starts to slowly drain aura, but drains more for each target he is analyzing. With this Zedong is compiling a large amount of data, from things as simple as mannerisms and attire, to as complicated as state of health and combat strategy. The longer he stays in this mode the more data he acquires. During this state his eyes are tinted violet. *Active*: Once he feels he has enough information to get the job done he can fully activates his semblance, which causes him to quickly loose aura. With this he can predict his targets movements accurately for as long as he keeps his eyes open. Due to how much aura this drains he can only keep his eyes open for a short amount of time, and as such using it against multiple targets is dangerous. While active his eyes shine a bright violet. **Backstory**: Not being born in a city, Zedong only knew the wild side of Vytal until a much later age. He never complained about living with a traveling band of nomads, always eager to help and even more eager to play he was popular among his fellow travelers. His father was a hunter, the kind that gathers food, and would take Zedong on trips to teach him all he needed to know about surviving outside the walls of civilization. To him this was a good life, honest and free, full of gain and loss, his life was what he believed to be truly living. During one night, when the guard was exchanging shifts, a herd of Grimm attacked. This was nothing new, since the wilds were full of them, and each time there were casualties, but none hit closer to home than this night. While he ran to the north of the camp to help fight them off. Some Grimm fought their way through the south of the camp, and when the dust settled and the day was won, his younger sister was nowhere to be seen. For five days he searched, but he had to come to terms that she was too young to survive on her own, and he grieved for five more days. It was not easy for him to forgive himself, and most would say he still has to do so. His life had changed, and he changed with it. He would become a Hunter and uphold the peace, for he now knew that with the ever growing presence of the Grimm, his people would never know true freedom. He left his home and his family, applied and was accepted into Beacon Academy.

Isn't much for talking and believes in hard work over all else. He wants to be the strongest Hunter in the world and is determined that the only way to get there is to work harder than anyone else. If he had any friends then he would protect them with his life. He has a strict code of morals he has set for himself, He won't hit a girl, He will help anyone in need of it, and he will never back down from a challenge. Weapon: Quicksilver. The sides of the katana has open-able slits that hide small jet boosters that can quickly increase speed and change direction and can fire bullets from the hilt. Semblance: Can increase the gravity of in a 5m radius of him by up to x2 currently. Backstory: Yasuri was born into an easy life style, his parents had won the lottery the day before his birth and had been well set up for life. Due to this neither of his parents had a job and Yasuri was able to get whatever he wanted. However Yasuri was a very smart child for his age and realized that without a job the family would eventually run out of money, something his parents failed to understand even when he tried to explain it. So Yasuri determined that he would have to be able to take care of the family once the money ran out and applied himself vigorously to his studies at his school. When he was 16 his parents were taken yet another of their ridiculous vacations into the mountains or the woods or wherever they felt like going at the time and they were attacked by Grimm. Being to lazy to hire guards and not believing in the forces of Grimm they were killed and Yasuri was left to fend for himself for several weeks before he even realized they were dead. Yasuri changed his goal in life to exterminating all Grimm, so in order to do this he decided to became a Hunter. Yasuri quickly proved himself to be quite adept at combat and a very fast learner quickly out pacing his tutors and seeking information on his own in addition to developing his own style of fighting. Now having graduated top of his class he has arrived at Beacon.

She usually takes to wearing blue, indigo, or black colors usually, and prefers her longer trench-coat style jacket with a plain black T-shirt and black or navy blue jeans. Annie thus far has shown to have a major lacking in confidense, the only source of the opposite of this is while she is fighting- in which case, she seems to be uncaring at the level she or others might think herself at, and only concentrates on the fight itself. Annie has shown signs of possibly being Psychopathic, and overall *has* shown to be relatively cold-hearted and indifferent to the pleas and struggles of others. While she does have a "Code of Honor" of her own, she doesn't seem willing to share it, or her ideals with anyone outside of combat, in which case, many dismiss them, thinking she's merely caught up in the moment and only saying her cold-hearted, cynical, and ruthless points-of-view. When given a job or task, she will complete it, with no exception. The only times this is found to be not true, is when she does not accept the task or job and instead chooses to pass it along, being lazy whenever possible outside of fighting, strategy, and her allies. Annie seems to be more of a thinker than anything else, seemingly unable to always quickly come to the solution that will solve a problem, however when she does, it always seems to be the most efficient, and/or laziest, easiest way possible. She takes her studies with a moderation of seriousness and lack of importance, focusing on trying to expand her abilities overall more than her already existant testable know-how. Annie has overall seemed to be a selfish person, and while this wouldn't usually be a good trait for a Huntress, she does still abide by rules and regulations of her own that she will follow to her upmost, and usually keep innocents and unfortunates from further harm and danger. She has stated herself that she is a more 'evil' individual than most others seeking to become Hunters and Huntresses for real. This can be as much as a benifit, as it is a liability. •Weapon: **Indigo Stormcrest**: Dual wielded Longsword-Pistols. Names aren't my thing anyways. Annie built his weapon of choice to be a Longsword and pistol hybrid, seeking some range to go with her prefered type of sword: the (semi)oridinary longsword. She personally helped craft and design her weapons of choice, however as she is, nor was, a blacksmith of any kind, she saught help in her weapons construction, so as to not make flawed blades or insult the greatness she knew her weapons would become. Annie's semblance allows her to increase or decrease the Velocity of anything within a 5 foot radius of herself. She can manipulate her own velocity and that of her weapons, and anyone who remains within 5 feet of her. "Velocity is the rate at which an object covers some distance, in a particular direction. Or in other words, it's the 'speed' at which an object travels along with the direction it's traveling." (Best explaination for velocity that I could find, that didn't make my brain hurt). Annie's semblance is on the heavier side of Aura usuage, but it is also not as bad as most aura-heavy semblances, allowing her plenty of use before tiring herself out, but still more Aura-consumtious than most semblances might be. She has some tricks she can do with her weapons that help with her style while using her semblance. •Backstory: Annie Reese is a simple, book smarts, and tomboyish kind of girl. She's completely normal up till he joined Signal Academy. She didn't even have any experience with an actual fight before, as she had grown up on the outskirts of Valor. Having only the life skills of a bookworm, when she decided to apply to Signal, she had to undergo a major lifestyle change. Mainly: Doing Work for once. Laziness was something that had constantly kept Annie unbusy, usually only reading or writting and pondering about the world she lived in and the rules that governed it. However, she had to start becoming something if she ever wanted to survive the Academy, let alone the Grimm. So, she made a decision- She'd start working out. She'd start practicing, asking for tips, finding allies who could help her. It took her a very (VERY) long year before she thought she was ready to apply to Signal. She had taken a year off of when she could change from a normal school to Signal, and as such, was a year older than most of those who had started attending Signal. She managed to breeze her way through the classes, like usual, and even found herself capable of keeping up with some of the more experienced and praiseworthy students in her year. She managed to help forge her weapons of choice, the pair of them- Indigo Stormcrest during her time at Signal, and when it came time to graduate, she decided that the life of a Huntress would be just fine with her....at least for a while, and as such applied for Beacon as well. She's pretty sure she that if she did make it in, she did so barely. She seems to continue to Hope that she will find what will make being a Huntress even more fun than just the fighting if/while she attends Beacon. (Note: Annie is capable of being both a Beacon student or a villain depending on which is preferred.)

Her normal apparel is the dress she wears in the above picture. Personality: Warm, cheerful, elegant, and genuinely kindhearted; At least on the surface. Upon meeting her, she seems reserved, but in truth she craves contact, and the warmth that comes with sentient interaction. Not a very touchy-feely person, and shys away from it on instict, though she secretly enjoys it. Weapon: Dust infused tattoos and clothing. Semblance: Ice. Backstory: Parsey was born into a family that couldn't support another child, so she her parents abandoned her at a monastery. She spent a majority of her childhood in this institution, though she spent a year, when she was six, on the street. Once she returned to the nun's eager embraces, she was taught to defend herself using dust (in its raw form). Then at the age of eleven, in spite of the nun's wishes, she went out and got dust tattoos covering her torso, arms, and legs. These spiraling tattoos were not found out for a while, as she was forced to wear the nun's habits while inside the monastery. After three months though, they saw the tattoos. She was heavily shamed by the mother superior for these "monuments to vanity" and swore a vow to never reveal them to a soul. After three uneventful years, at the age of fourteen, she abandoned the monastery. She lived on her own for three years before applying to beacon at the age of seventeen. Her training in _self defense_ is limited, but it was enough to be accepted into beacon.
