"Tim Drake is not Bruce Wayne. He isn't Grayson, or even Damian. Drake is different. Look behind his eyes. I suspect he's already won."
- Timothy Drake
- Red Robin
- 22
- CEO of WayneTec International
**- Skills & Abilities**
Tim has undergone advanced training in many martial arts. He has mastered many unarmed styles of fighting, including Leopard kung fu, Savate, Judo, capoeria, karate, dragon Kung Fu and Biangan .Tim was taught these arts by Batman, Nightwing and Lady Shiva. Tim's fighting style is less acrobatic than Dick's, but more unpredictable and fluid than Bruce's. He is one of the three people in the world to have mastered the deadly martial art technique of Leopard Blow; the other two being Batman and Lady Shiva.
While he is a very competent unarmed fighter, Tim uses a bo as his primary weapon and usually engages his opponents using the art of Bojutsu -- or staff technique. He is so skilled with the bo that he once defeated Lady Shiva in a sparring match, and has been known to be able to take on multiple enemies at once.
Tim is in prime physical condition for a young man his age. He trains constantly with Bruce and Dick and continually seeks to hone his skills. Tim is accomplished in the acrobatic arts, though not as skilled as Dick, and has mastered the arts of escapology and stealth.Tim is also very fluent in several languages such as , Japanese, Mandarin, German, English, Russian and French.
Tim possesses a genius-level intellect. He is an exceptional detective, having deduced the identities of both Bruce and Dick when he was just a young boy. His high level of intelligence makes Tim a natural student and self-taught practitioner of many disciplines. He has studied computer science and is a highly skilled programmer and hacker. He has an in-depth knowledge of the natural sciences, which he puts to use in the crime lab; the extent of his expertise was illustrated when he made an attempt to re-clone his best friend, Conner Kent, after his death. He has studied the behavioral sciences, specifically criminology, and is very well-read and literate.
**- Weapons & Equipment**
- _Bo:_ a custom-made, retractable bo staff that serves as Tim's primary weapon. The bo has small holes drilled in either end to create a whistling effect when wielded, which disorients opponents and keeps them off guard. It can deploy a basic shield at the touch of a button, and contains a retractable blade at the top, effectively making it a spear when needed.
- _Batarang, throwing discs and 'R'-shurikens:_ offensive weapons that can be thrown.
- _Bolas:_ cords with weighted ends designed to ensnare opponents when throwing in a gyrating motion.
- _Grappling gun:_ a sidearm that fires a projectile with a metal-laced paracord attached to it.
- _Cuffs:_ handcuffs and zip-cuffs used to contain criminals.
- _Tracking devices:_ miniature devices that connect to WayneTech satellites planted on people or objects.
- _Communications device:_ a small device designed to sit in the outer ear canal that maintains an open line of communication.
- _First aid kits:_ used to administer to the wounded or to temporary heal injuries to his own body.
- _Gas mask and re-breather:_ devices used to aid breathing in hostile environments or underwater.
- _Plasma torch:_ a cutting torch used to 'slice' through metal.
- _Lock picking tools:_ a set of tools used to gain entry into otherwise inaccessible areas.
- _Micro-camera:_ a small camera primarily used to collect photographic evidence.
- _Micro-computer:_ a small fully-functional computer.
- _Cryptographic sequencer:_ a peripheral device used to aid in hacking and decoding cyphers.
- _Explosive pellets:_ miniature explosives that can be used offensively, but are primarily used to escape.
- _Smoke pellets:_ miniature explosives that create a smoke screen for the user and disorientate targets.
- _Flashbangs:_ small explosive devices that create a blinding flash and an ear-piercing bang.
- _Plastic explosive:_ sticky explosives that are used to destroy structures.
- _Taser:_ a device used to deliver an intense electric shock to an opponent in emergency situations.
**- Personality**
Throughout his life, Tim Drake has gone through a number of events that have altered his personality. Though Tim has always been a serious child, a number of events he had experienced has only intensified his already serious nature. A once balanced child was turned into a dark man. Before becoming Robin, he had built up a good life for himself and good friends with people he could trust, even his father has accepted what he was doing with his life. he was friendly and likable that he had been able to enjoy life. He cares about innocent people, and would never stand by and watch someone be hurt or killed. He has a strong moral compass.
**- History**
Tim Drake is the son of Jack and Janet Drake. When he was a child, he visited the circus with his parents and managed to get a photo with the Graysons before the show. That night, Tim met Dick Grayson before the young acrobat's parents were assassinated.
Tim Drake had followed Batman and Robin's career ever since the murder of the Flying Graysons. One day, he saw the original Robin on television performing a move he had seen Dick Grayson perform at the circus; he quickly made the connection that Dick Grayson was Robin, and after learning that Dick Grayson was the ward of Bruce Wayne, he realized that Bruce Wayne was Batman.
After the death of Jason Todd, Batman grew more violent and reckless. Tim noticed that this wasn't in Batman’s true character, and he sought Dick's help. At this time, Dick was going by the code-name Nightwing. Tim tried to convince Dick to retake the mantle of Robin, saying it was the only way to keep Batman sane. Dick partially agreed to this, but said that he would only help Batman as Nightwing. Tim did not like Dick’s decision, maintaining that Batman needed a Robin. Eventually, he was able to get Fox to assist in altering the Robin costume so that he could help Batman himself. Fox and Dick gave Tim their approval as the new Robin, but only so he could keep Batman sane. However, Batman protested that he did not want a new partner, while noting Tim's potential. Eventually, Batman accepted Tim as Robin under one condition: Tim had to endure physical and mental training before he could become Robin so that he would not suffer the same fate as Jason Todd.
While Tim was training, his parents were kidnapped. Tim continued to focus on his work and foiled the plans of a hacker thief. Meanwhile, Batman went to rescue Tim’s parents. However, Batman arrived too late. They had been poisoned -- his mother killed, and his father in a coma. Batman worried the tragedy might cloud Tim's mind with thoughts of revenge, but he was reassured when Tim saved Batman and Vicki Vale from the Scarecrow. Afterwards, Batman allowed Tim to take on the mantle of the Boy Wonder, and gave him a modernized version of the costume.
The transition from Boy Wonder to Red Robin was not as simple as changing costumes. Between the change was a large overhaul in the Bat families public face. Having been consumed by his night job and time with the JL. Bruce was nearly removed from his own companies board of directors. Their move not unreasonable as the inflated budget for next generation toys was literally sucking the profits of the company. Seeing the weakness and vulnerability this position gave Batman Tim stepped up and set a plan into motion. The plan involved a lot of work with Fox, and several key members of the WayneTech family who were still on the families side. It called for Bruce to relinquish his shares of the company and pass them to Tim who would take over WayneTech with the intention to bring it into the 21st century.
Five weeks later and enough paperwork to make the Joke go sane Tim was introducing WayneTech International to the world along with the acquisitions of several break out companies that show a deep investment to both new and promising fields of business. What those in the public didn't know is several of these companies are being brought into the fold for a much grander reason. Tim and Bruce will soon unveil Batman Incorporated. With a new position to those that live in the day Tim felt a new persona was needed for those that live at night. Since becoming the Red Robin Tim has somewhat followed in Bruce's steps with the creation of the Teen Titans. He has also begun his own contingency plans along with starting to develop a Hit List of the worlds and Gotham's most wanted.
**- Story Arcs**
_The Target_ - After delivering a near crippling blow to the League of Assassins network the balance of power among the different assassins guild has been thrown into chaos. The only way for order to be restored. A competition to decide the best assassin group. The target. The one who took down the demon, Red Robin.
_The Hit List_ - Through careful planning and detective work Tim outlines a plan that wont just capture one villain, but immediately set in motion plans to capture several other most wanted. The plan starts off without a hitch, but what happens when the plan gets flipped and suddenly the Hit List leads the Bat family into a trap?
Character Connection
**Dick Grayson**
- Threat Level - Low
- Friendship Status - Brotherly
Dick was the only person who wore a mask that supported Tim becoming Robin and since then has formed a brotherly bond that has led to both of them supporting each other completely when one has called upon the other. He is also the only member to understand the honest loss of family outside of Bruce though that talk has never and will never occur.
During their times they both wore a mask the two had teamed up multiple times to take down gangs, drug lords, and even a weekend where they stopped a team of cheerleader bank robbers. Thankfully when Dick became a cop he still relied on Tim from time to time. The two working several of Dick's cases together. The two will still spar and practice with each other as they are their own best support in maintaining their bodies for the constant trials fighting crime throws at them. After awhile the two couldn't go to a regular gym as the oglers of all types got to be too much.
**Barbara Gordon**
- Threat Level - Low
- Friendship Status - Friend of a Friend
Having joined the bat family before Tim first arrived the two only know each other through Richard. He understands her personality and knows she hasn’t been as quiet in fighting crime as she leads on. In what capacity she continues the good fight is still unknown to Tim.
Tim's connection with Orical has been a professional one. Finding her, yes he has worked out her gender, was not easy and involved joining several dark sections of the world wide web. Still her abilities with a keyboard put her above the rest. She has recently assisted in helping rewrite a program that Gotham has implemented involving emergency crime call boxes. Tim has been in contact with her using an alias of a mid level tech within Wayne International, but is confident she has seen through it. He has been careful.
**Stephanie Brown:**
- Threat Level - To the city; low, to Tim’s focus, High.
- Friendship Status - It’s complicated but I think friend is somewhere in the title.
Everyone has that person in their life that makes everything fall into chaos. Her recent inclusion to the Bat family has him more on edge then when Damian was going around try to kill people. The first time the two met was during her time as Spoiler where the two had a romantic fling. The no real identity wall between the two was the relationships undoing. Especially considering how irritating it is for her to hide things from a guy with detective skills nearly on par with Batman.
The biggest stress between the two has to do with each others views on wearing a mask. Tim had made Steph promise to give up her life as Spoiler and during that time they were good. The relationship had its moments but the two were happy. It wasn't until Tim realized she had broken this promise that he saw the relationship as unacceptable. Perhaps it was him over thinking things or maybe a internal fear that these masks were the only thing they truly could love now. Either way the fissure it created was deep. They have been able to work alongside each other since then with random swings of banter bordering on flirting. Still it has yet to go anywhere due to Tim keeping or attempting to keep his distance. Though the weakness of man has often seem to be a beautiful blonde.
**Damian Wayne:**
- Threat Level - High
- Friendship Status - Violent
Saying Damian was a sucker punch to the Bat family. He very well could be the undoing of the family if he kills while wearing the Robin everything would change. Tim has never allowed this thought to escape him when dealing with the supposed son of Batman.
Recently Tim has been taking the high road when Damian cuts him down with words. Especially in public. He knows what the young boy's goal is. He isn't only after the acceptance to be Robin, but also wants to be involved in Wayne International. It wasn't going to happen on Tim's watch, but it also seems to be a place where they can battle it out without the use of swords and kicks. That said there have still been numerous times where both had been used and then subdued by Tim.
**Kate Kane:**
- Threat Level - Unknown
- Friendship Status - None Save for one rooftop warning he gave her.
Tim and Bruce have been tracking Kate since the bat inspired vigilant first showed up in Gotham. After working on her identity they came up with a basic understanding of Kate. Bruce seemed to have seen another member possibly to welcome into the fold; however, Tim’s opinion is somewhat different. With Damian already throwing a wrench into the organization he is much more hesitant to add another.
Still her obvious military style has Tim believing she dawned the outfit more out of an understanding of camouflage. When you wear the bat you gain an upper hand in a street fight, but your actions are immediately noticed by the biggest players in the city. Shortly after Kate began working Batman and Red Robin made a rooftop visit. The message was clear. "We are watching. And one false move means you get taken down." After Bruce left Tim gave one more piece of advice/warning. "We aren't the only ones interested when a new bat joins..." The implication being Gotham's most wanted would be looking to test Kate as well.
**Cassandra Cain-Wayne:**
- Threat Level - Low
- Friendship Status - Another complicated one; unlikely to try and kill me again though.
Seriously what is what the Bat family using the League of Assassins to recruit for a 'no kill rule' crime fighting family? Putting that aside Tim respects the fact that Cassandra has had a hard life, like many who don a mask, and doesn’t bring it up. He has his own history he doesn't like drudged up and the fact that Cassandra respects that leads to an unspoken closeness many could see as an awkward silence. In most cases they have a perfectly professional relationship save for that a time or two when she was trying to kill him. Since then she had left and Tim made several trips to Hong Kong with the intention of getting her back to Gotham.
Since their last team up, where they took down an advanced tech version of the Royal Flush gang, The awkward silences between the two have been a lot louder then normal for Tim. This isn't because he or she had been talking more, but because he had been thinking a lot more. Several things happened during her time under the influence of the brainwashing drug that Tim had yet to explain or ask about. Among them a rather intimate declaration that had Tim's mind running in circles.

*"Sorry, the tapes aren’t online. Grossly unfair to us cybervigilantes, if you ask me. I’m thinking of writing my congressman."*
- Name: Barbara Gordon
- Alias: Oracle, formerly Batgirl I
- Age: 27
- Occupation: Unemployed/Vigilante
- Skills & Abilities: Before becoming Batgirl Barbara Gordon was a proficient martial artist, and during her ten year tenure as Batgirl was well-trained by Batman in more advanced martial skills, stealth, and a number of weapons. In addition she is highly intelligent, has a strong memory enhanced by meditative techniques, and has a grasp of computer software second to few. Her time since then has only enhanced her other talents. She has a nearly completed master's degree in Forensic Psychology, and the two years since becoming the Oracle have honed her skills with computers to a razor's edge. She is only boasting a little when she says that every system has a vulnerability and she can and probably already has found that weakness. Since her injury she has supplemented her weakened martial capabilities with a gun, and while she has not yet had occasion to use it in combat she keeps in considerable practice with it.
- Equipment: An old, well-used Colt M1911 in excellent repair, with a number of after-market modifications to enhance accuracy and better manage recoil. The Oracle's Tablet, Oracle's answer to the Bat Computer, a largish but otherwise typical looking laptop computer whose case conceals an array of custom-made and prototype hardware and software, including a theoretically impenetrable permanent link to the Bat Computer.
- Personality & History: Despite being the daughter of the GCPD's most, and periodically only both competent and honest cop Barbara Gordon's early life wasn't exactly superheroic fare - the most horrific tragedy in her early life being her parents divorcing when she was twelve. That said her youth wasn't exactly typical, Jim Gordon had a reasonably paranoid bent regarding the city of Gotham, and insisted on Barbara learning how to protect herself - and she was determined that if she was going to do anything, she would do it well. From the age of five she studied martial arts four days a week, principally Wing Chun Kung Fu.
As she developed physically she also grew psychologically - the Sifu taught that the power he was giving them should only be used righteously, and every day she witnessed her father's frustration at the degeneration of the city, while also hearing whispers and rumors and stories of the actions of Gotham's dark knight.
Her transformation from Barbara Gordon to Batgirl was a gradual thing, shifting from interfering with evil acts in progress if she witnessed them to subconsciously seeking them out to eventually donning a (crude) mask in emulation of the Bat-Man. It wasn't two weeks after she donned the mask that she was sought out, first by the Batman's young protege known as Robin, and soon after by the man himself. It would not be long before she would be properly inducted, beginning two of the most important relationships in her life.
Four years after her induction Robin departed, leaving Barbara behind in Gotham, alone with Batman...for less than a week. To say she was a little annoyed at Bruce for getting a new Robin faster than most people replace a goldfish is a bit of an understatement. Despite that she did her best to adjust to Jason Todd as the new third member of their team, although she felt that she was being pushed into the background. At this point Batman and Batgirl became less of a team and more a pair of heroes who regularly worked together, although unlike Dick - she retained the moniker of Batgirl. The divide between Batman and Barbara only grew following the loss of Jason Todd, and his similarly swift replacement by Tim Drake. Despite the growing estrangement between her and Bruce she established a friendship with the young detective, but spent considerable amounts of time assisting Nightwing in Bludhaven.
As her later years as Batgirl were going on she began to fray a bit, the strain of pursuing a degree in forensic psychology at Gotham University while simultaneously crimefighting and making some token effort to have a social life -and- sleep required the day to be about twelve hours longer than it actually was, and Batgirl's work became sloppier as a result. Forced to choose, she elected to hang up the cowl on July 3rd, 2009, although she vowed that it was just a leave of absence, not permanent. While for the next several years she would re-don the costume often in times of need the days of being the Batgirl on a nightly basis were at an end.
Just over a year later - on July 10th of 2010 - her and her father were attacked at a family dinner by thugs working for the Joker, gassed and captured. Despite Barbara's training and her father's considerable abilities they were unable to escape from their captors, and the Joker began to enact his plan to drive Jim Gordon insane, brutally torturing Barbara, beating her to the point of death and shattering her legs. By the time Batman arrived on the scene the damage was done. Barbara and Gordon were rushed to Gotham Mercy, and while Jim Gordon made a full recovery from his physical injuries Barbara Gordon would not be so lucky. She had escaped injury to her brain, and would survive her wounds, but even with extensive surgery and physical therapy, it would take years for her to even begin to regain the ability to move, if she ever did - the doctors gave it a less than ten percent chance that she would regain her full mobility, and most doubted she would ever walk again without crutches.
The psychological wounds from her ordeal, combined with the trauma of losing her ability to run, climb, fight, or even go to the bathroom without help nearly broke Barbara, and for the better part of a year she moped, any excitement from her and Dick finally getting a place together killed by the humiliating helplessness, needing his help to do even the most basic tasks. She threw herself into her recovery, quickly mastering the use of a wheelchair, her already strong upper body growing used to the task of hauling herself around as necessary. The surgeries, paid for by Bruce Wayne, reassembled her legs into proper order with enough titanium screws to build a Terminator, allowed her to begin the arduous process of regaining the ability to walk, a process that never seemed to get any faster or easier, the best she ever managed being able to hobble her way to the bathroom without needing to climb into her wheelchair.
A year after receiving her injury she was contacted by Batman, who needed assistance with a mission, assistance she could provide with her technical expertise. At first she took it as an insulting piece of charity, but despite that she agreed, using her information gathering skills to assist Batman in foiling a plot by Riddler from her home. Such missions would happen again and again, and she gradually came to accept and even enjoy the role, beginning to train herself on the computer like she had once trained with staff and fist, and that more than anything helped her in her recovery from the injury, her near-berserk focus on regaining her legs abating to more healthy levels. She could still do something worthwhile, even from a chair.
Over the past three years Oracle has become legendary, effectively becoming the technical wizard of the superhero community. Despite that, she maintained her anonymity, keeping her activities as Oracle secret even from Dick, allowing the Oracle to gain a legend around it like Batman had once had, a myth among hackers. She perpetuated the theory that Oracle was some kind of net-consciousness, a benevolent ghost in the system.
- Character Impressions:
Bruce Wayne/Batman: "I think I'm the only one in this family who sees him clearly. I'm the only one of us who really chose this life, the others had it forced on them - and not by Bruce. Dick resents him, I think, for bringing him into this, but I think if Dick really looked at it he'd realize that Bruce saved him. What do I think about him? He's a good man, and he's doing the best he can, with us and with this world." - Frustrating Mentor
Selina Kyle/Catwoman: "Jesus H. Christ, if I ever needed an argument that Bruce dressing up as a bat and going out at night to punch bank robbers in the face was a sex thing, she was it. Selina Kyle's a higher class of criminal than the usual lunatics we have to deal with, I'd take her any day over Scarecrow or Zsasz, but she's still a criminal. Jeeesus, Bruce." - Not a Fan
Dick Grayson: "Dick Grayson is the only man I've ever met who has a harder head than Batman. After the Fries Incident burned him - no surprise - he decided he never wanted to be a hero, and if you believe that...well, I'd loudly dispute it, but we agreed to stop discussing it. Maybe I'm biased - he talks about regretting ever putting on the mask, and I wish I could put it on again. Not a recipe for a good talk. So we don't talk about it anymore." - Strained Lover
Jason Todd/Red Hood: "We used to be friends, he and I. Odd friends, but friends. I don't know what he's been through, but I know where it started...I wonder if I might have become the same, if Joker had known I was Batgirl. I just wish Jason had taken the opportunity he had and killed that son of a bitch...enough blood already stained Jason's hands at that point, would one more really have hurt?" - Wayward Friend
Tim Drake/Red Robin: "I didn't have a good start with Tim. After Jason died, Batman replaced him so quickly as Robin that it felt like we were more like Batman's hired goons than his family and friends, like Jason was a goldfish that needed replacing. But...Tim's more than earned his place among us. I question his choice of nom de guerre, but who am I to talk, I called myself Batgirl for over a decade." - Respected Comrade
Damian Wayne/Robin V: "I think he can be trusted, but I don't like him much. Everyone else figured out pretty quick that the last thing I want is their pity, and somehow it's even more unpleasant from him, like a shark empathizing with you. There's something not right about him, which I suppose isn't surprising given his mother and grandfather." - Distasteful Ally
Stephanie Brown/Batgirl II: Pending
Cassandra Cain/Blackbat: Pending
Batwoman: "I've been nudging Bruce to bring her into the fold almost since she turned up in Gotham. I think he doesn't like that she took the Bat-moniker without his okay, but what of it? I did the same thing. Admittedly I was a kid and I'm pretty sure Batwoman isn't, but what of it? She does good work, and I think we'd all feel more comfortable with her if we knew more about her. Right now all we know for certain is that she's got resources and doesn't mind throwing the odd crook through a plate-glass window." - Potential Ally
- Story Arc: Revenge. Barbara Gordon may have begun to cope with her disabilities, she may have made great strides on the path to both physical and emotional recovery, but the trauma of what was done to her and her father that fateful night four years ago is still a raw, open wound in her mind. For the last four years she has subconsciously done everything in her power to avert her eyes from the Joker, let Batman deal with him, but if he should fall into her sights could anything stop her from unleashing all her technical prowess on him and destroying him as thoroughly as he tried to destroy her?
- In Costume Appearance: Sometimes Barbara puts on her Bat-Sweater before she does Oracle stuff.
> **Name:** T1 and T2
> **Alias:** TANDEM
> **Age:** Unknown
> **Gender:** Both male
>
> **Occupation:** Killbots
>
> **Skills & Abilities:** TANDEM can be programmed to do just about anything. On default, they only know their own basic maintenance.
>
> **Equipment:** They both have tons of built in features, such as EMP devices, night vision, electroshocks, build in chat interface, ect. Their bodies are almost as much machine as they are flesh and blood. A lot of their suits is removable. The plating and armor can be taken off to perform maintenance and such.
>
> Aside from what's built into them, they have a plethora of weapons that they are given, depending on the assignment. They don't actually own any of them.
>
> **Personality:**
> Although neither cyborg has very much in the way of personality, they each have their little quirks that set them apart. Both are almost void of emotion and humanity. Whatever personality the two subjects had before being experimented on has been saved on a hard drive and locked away somewhere. They are little more than blank interfaces now.
> T1 is the risk taker. He's more willing to take a chance in the field, risk injury for the sake of their mission.
> T2 is the strategist. He doesn't like taking chances, because he's probably already got a plan that eliminates the need to risk anything.
>
>** Subject information:**
>
> TANDEM - Cyborgs
>
> Once humans, TANDEM has bridged the gap between man and machine. Working perfectly as one unit, TANDEM are the soldiers of the future. Their design would no doubt brings a good load of money into the lab if sold, but right now, there's too much red tape over their creation being 'inhumane'. Its arguable that, since they were dead when they were found, that they no longer had human rights.
>
> TANDEM communicates with others via The Interface. Users with access to the interface can type in commands, which then read out across the cyborgs' enhanced retinas. They use this same interface to communicate with each other, speak with one another like users in a chat room. They don't talk at all. The cyborgs are punished if they are found to be using their interface to talk about anything not work-related. However, TANDEM is clever. Together, they have created a separate channel, apart from the one made for them, where they are free to communicate without their handlers' prying eyes. Their conversations on this secret channel are usually more relaxed than those viewable by their creators.
>
> The physical enhancements done to the cyborgs are advanced. Both have super strength, with a limit of lifting 2 tons. However, the unfortunate thing about machines is that, when they hit limits, they cannot push further. The cyborgs will never be able to lift more than 2 tons, and trying will result in damage.
>
> They can reach up to 50 MPH on foot, and maintain that speed for 10 minutes before they will begin to overheat. That is their upper limit, and like said before, it can't be pushed.
>
> Both have enhanced reflexes. Their reaction time depends on how much they were paying attention.
>
> Both are very intelligent. Able to store up to 100 terabytes of information on their hard drives, which is said to be the limit of the human brain. The difference is that TANDEM never forgets. The information they store is constantly available to them. However, their hard drives are usually kept pretty vacant, to prevent them from developing their own opinions, preferences, and other human needs. That's the drawback. While TANDEM is unique because of their ability to mix the intelligence of a machine with the instinct of a man, they are still technically human. If left unchecked, they will slowly become _more_ human.
>
> **Appearance:**
>![enter image description here](https://36.media.tumblr.com/785add423d986414a3f6248b021ce403/tumblr_ngab3imv5T1rrvoero1_r1_1280.jpg "enter image title here")
> TANDEM share the same design. It's not clear just how much is left of either of their human bodies, but it's obvious that some heavy modifications have been made. The cyborgs' eyes have been replaced with high tech machines. Their retinas contain screens that allow them to interact and receive commands via an interface that is programed into them. They are both 6 feet even.
>
> T1 has brown hair, shaved with only the top of his left left with hair, exactly like T2. He is the smaller of the two, with his shoulders being less broad and his build less bulky. His skin is pallor, as if the blood has been drained from his face. He has a constant, blank expression when interacting with others. However, he is much better at conveying himself via facial expressions than T2. He only uses these facial expressions with T2, often able to communicate through them alone.
>
> T2 has blond hair in the same style as T1. He has broad shoulders. It's clear that, when he was still human, he was the bigger man out of the two. He was probably taller at one time, too. His skin, too, is pallor. He usually wears a blank and stony expression, except when communicating with T1.
>
> **History:**
> Names long forgotten, James Fuller and Robert Vans were once decorated war heroes. They were an unstoppable team, trained in black ops for missions that most men would call a suicide run. Even as real people, they worked together flawlessly. The two soldiers finally met their demise while running an op. Their bodies were recovered by a villainous tech genuis, and the experiments began.
>
> Having only been dead for mere minutes, most of their brain tissue was still recoverable. Whatever had received damage could be replaced. It took years for the two cyborgs to become what they today. Neither of them remember their past life.

**Alias:** Batwoman
**Age:** 25
**Occupation:** trust fund baby
**Skills & Abilities**
- advance military training
- firearms
- hand to hand combat
- interrogation
- stealth
**Equipment**
- standard bat-gear (glide cape, batarangs, grapple gun, etc.)
- Batpod
**Personality and History**
**Twice Born Daughter: **
Jacob and Gabi Kane had twins, Beth and Kate. Although, Kate would claim she's older albeit only by a few seconds. The two were identical in appearance, even their parents having a hard time telling them apart sometimes. But their personalities couldn't be more different. Beth was sweet and shy, while Kate was intense and hyper. The two always stuck together, inseparable since birth. Kate would often act as Beth's protector, since her meekness made her an easy target for bullies. In fact it seemed like Kate was always getting in a fight for one reason or another. But on their 6th birthday Kate failed to protect her sister. Her family was kidnapped by an unknown organization and held hostage. It is believed terrorists were after her father for military secrets. Kate's mother and sister were killed during the incident.
**Dishonorably Discharged: **
When she became of age Kate enlisted in the military like her parents. Unfortunately she never got to serve. She was discharged after it came to light that she had a relationship with another woman. When questioned she didn't deny anything, she refused to lie. She spent the next few months of her life lost in a daze. Her whole life she thought she would enlist and fight for something worth fighting for. Suddenly her clear vision of the future was engulfed in shadows. And it didn't help that her father wasn't so accepting of the situation. It wasn't all bad tho, her "uncles" (her dad's army buddies who helped raise her ever since her mother died) all offered her comfort and acceptance.
**Donning the Uniform: **
During her dark days, Kate spent too much time and money on booze and in clubs. But one night in particular she decided to check out a club located in the dirtier side of Gotham, the side she rarely if ever visited. Before she even reached the club she saw someone getting mugged. The loser wannabe criminal with a knife didn't last long against her fashionable boots. She ended up stopping 3 attacks that night. It opened her eyes to the chaos and fear that has razed Gotham. Using her numerous military contacts, notably her "uncles", she spent the next two years traveling abroad and training. When she returned she was ready for war. She took on the symbol of the bat because she saw it as a uniform, to let people know she was one of the good guys. Kate never asked for permission from Batman, and she didn't care if she had it. Getting funds wasn't difficult since the Kane family owned the half of Gotham that the Waynes didn't.
**The Batwoman: **
Batwoman is the black sheep of the Bat-family, if you can even consider her a member. She is really only a bat in name and mask. Unlike other Bat-family members Batwoman wasn't inspired by Batman. The uniform was chosen so the cops knew not to shoot her and so the people knew they could trust her. Kate isn't in the loop with the rest of the Bat-family either. She doesn't have access to the cave, she doesn't know any of their identities, she's only met a few of them in person. All her gear and equipment are her own, she's a completely independent agent. Batman and her have an understanding. They're on the same side but try to stay out of each others' way, which can be difficult sometimes considering Batwoman's extreme methods. Kate is a soldier, and sometimes in war lives are lost. Her time spent as Batwoman has been hard and lonely. Being estranged from her father, her only immediate family, hasn't been easy. She had no one to rely on but herself, both in crime fighting and in life.

**Story Arc**
The war on crime has been wearing Kate down. There's only so much she can do alone. For once in her life she is reconsidering her own stubbornness. Maybe she should be nicer to the Bat-family whose name she stole. And maybe she should set Batwoman aside and work on Kate and all her perfect relationships. She never did call that cute waitress she met the other night. Maybe go back to college perhaps? But little does she know there are people out there more interested in Kate than Batwoman.
**Extra**
- Favorite drink is red wine.
- She wears a wig as part of her disguise. Even the World's Greatest Detective fell for it the first time.

_My Little Robin_
Young Dick Grayson was born on the first day of spring, March 21st. His mother nicknamed him "little Robin." Little did she know how prophetic this term of endearment would be in her son's life. The Flying Graysons were a Romany family whose act was based around an unrivalled mastery of acrobatics. Dick had been trained from birth to join them and was the star if the show by age ten. Before a very significant appearance in Gotham City, in which The Flying Graysons were the main attraction of Haly’s Circus, they were asked to pose for a photo opportunity with Jack Drake and his family, including their young son, Tim Drake. On that evening, he overheard "Boss" Tony Zucco, a well-known and feared crime lord, threaten the performers unless the circus's owner paid protection money. The owner refused, and that night Dick watched in horror as his parents' high wire snapped, sending his parents hurtling to their deaths, all while many of Gotham's elite watched on. Young Dick felt responsible, because he failed to warn his parents in time. Shortly after, billionaire Bruce Wayne sensing a kindred spirit, approaches the boy and offers to adopt him. Thus a lifelong friendship is born.
_Becoming the Boy Wonder_
Shortly after moving into Wayne Manor, Dick became suspicious of his new friend when he noted that he never saw Bruce after 7pm every night. One evening he used his acrobatic skills to follow Bruce undetected…or so he thought. Eventually, tailing the philanthropist brought Dick to the Batcave where Bruce discovered the young boy and decided to share his secret. Bruce then offered to help Dick in bringing Tony Zucco. The orphan accepted and Bruce trained him for months. After initially having trouble accepting a name, he finally settled on his moniker being Robin, the name his mother had given him. The Boy Wonder had arrived and a legacy was born. Forming a secondary team and a long standing bond with a girl calling herself Batgirl, Dick protects Gotham alongside Bruce for six years.
_College – Enter Nightwing_
At age sixteen, Dick finally began to feel the strain of being Robin. He began to realise that he never actually wanted to be a hero, he only became one because he realised that it was something Bruce needed. Bruce needed someone to stop him from crossing the line. After more and more conflicts, the dynamic duo finally went their separate ways. Dick dropped the Robin mantle and headed off to college in Bludhaven. Once there, he signed up for veterinarian classes and roomed with a kid from Keystone called Wally West (who would become his life long friend) he even tried to put Barbara out of his mind by dating Helena Bertinelli (another person who would play a vital part in his future). Eventually the call for justice became too strong and Dick dropped out of college to enrol in the police academy. Knowing full well he could no longer use the Robin name (especially since Bruce had given it to Jason and then Tim in the intervening years) Dick took up a new name; Nightwing. Barbara soon joined him in Bludhaven and helped him protect the city as best they could whilst also rekindling their on/off romance.
_A Normal Life?_
After graduating the police academy, Dick began is dual life as cop and vigilante. For over a year, the two fought tooth and nail to clean up its streets and corrupt police force until eventually they had done it. Of course there was still crime but they had made a serious dent and we’re more or less happy with their work. Resolving that they had done all they could, the couple hung up their cowls and for the first time in twelve years they simply were Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon. The two moved back to Gotham and Barbara asked her father to give Dick a job with the GCPD. Commissioner Gordon, aware of his daughters and her boyfriend’s identities, allowed him to join up. Four years on, Dick and Babs are still a happy, normal couple living a normal life. At least they were until an invitation to a certain wedding comes in the mail…
**Character Impressions**
• Bruce Wayne: My mentor, my father, my burden. We've barely spoken since the incident with Victor and Nora Fries three years ago. Little shocked he invited me to the wedding. I'll do my best not to punch him in the face.
•Tandem: ?
•Barbra Gordon: I have loved Barb since we I first discovered who was under her mask. She's so distant lately. I've done everything I can to be there for her. She won't let me in completely. Then again, I've never let her into my heart completely either.
•Stephanie Brown: She's like the sister I always wanted. Little dork.
•Tim Drake: Tim is......Tim is what I should've been. He's the Robin Bruce always wanted.
•Damian Wayne: Little brat but he's changing slowly, it's a good thing.
•Cassandra Cain: Haven't had a chance to get to know her yet.
•Catwoman: So Selina and Bruce are finally getting together? Well I'm just glad he decided on Selina rather than someone like Talia.
**Extra:**
- Dick is a huge music fan, he does everything with headphones in, including police and vigilante work.
- He is well known as a civilian in the gotham underworld for his trademark converse shoes.
- Despite not talking to Bruce for years, Dick has managed to stay in the loop in regards to other members of the family, he has helped train and select several of the Robins
**Story Arc:**
_The Gray Son of Gotham:_
For the first time in nearly twenty years, Haly’s Circus returns to Gotham City. Dick is torn whether to return, at least to see if any of the old faces are still there. Barbara on the other hand thinks it a great idea for the entire extended Wayne family to head off for a night at the circus in order to reconnect. Upon their arrival, they are greeted by CC Haly who takes Dick off to the side for a private word. Haly says nothing other than an old nursery rhyme he used to tell Dick as a boy before disappearing into the shadows. Unnerved, he returns to the others with horrible feeling that history is going to repeat.
"Beware The Court of Owls, that watches all the time,
Ruling Gotham from a shadow perch, behind granite and lime.
They watch you at your hearth, they watch you in your bed,
Speak not a whispered word of them or they'll send The Talon for your head."

**Name:** Jason Peter "Jay" Todd
**Alias:** The Red Hood, Formerly the second Robin
**Age:** 24
**Occupation:** Unemployed
---
**Skills & Abilities:**
- A naturally gifted athlete trained by the likes of Batman, Ducra, and the League of Shadows in a wide array of skills ranging from martial arts to acrobatics and espionage.
- Retains a vast amount of knowledge regarding Gotham's underworld and even the Black Market from his childhood and first stint as the Red Hood. As can be expected, he also has a fearful reputation lingering over him.
- Spends his spare time building and repairing certain vehicles. Everyone needs a hobby.
- Though not on the level of Bruce or Tim, Jason possesses a fairly analytical and perceptive mind that elevates him above certain members of the Batfamily when paired with his personal experience in the less pretty side of Gotham.
- Though he's recently begun turning away from firearms, Jason is still a crack shot with his pistol, and is a little too knowledgeable with explosives and military hardware. He also claims to be the best knife fighter in the Batcave.
---
**Equipment:**
- A variety of knives, guns, tear gas, and other military grade knickknacks usually kept in his almost innumerable jackets.
- A customized Ducati Diavel specced to recreate Jason's R-Cycle.
- Jason's helmet is effectively toxin proof and allows him to breathe underwater, coming with its own explosive defense system and numerous vision settings. You know, average Batman upgrades.
---
**Personality & History:**
_Straight outta Gotham_
Born to Catherine Haywood and Willis Todd, Jason never knew his father, who not only abandoned his new family but was in and out of Blackgate before Jason ever learned how to walk. Childhood in Crime Alley is rough, rougher yet when you don't have a father figure. Young Jason resorted to petty theft and fell in with a number of street gangs in order to survive, which imbued him with a certain level of grit and toughness not found in the other members of the Batfamily. Well, at least until Bruce started accepting assassins. And Stephanie Brown.
Growing up with a drug addict for a mother was hard, but Jason tended to stay away from home as often as possible, leaving Catherine to her devices while Jason built his reputation as the local street menace. Before long, Catherine fell into a deep bout of depression, and when Jason returned home from one of Gotham's secondary schools, he found his mother's body strewn out across the bathroom floor. Notifying the authorities, Jason sat there for a good twenty minutes before an ambulance arrived. Interviewed and shuffled off to the nearest orphanage by the police, Jason would escape only weeks later.
_Boosting the Batmobile_
As expected, Jason fell back into a lifestyle of petty crime in order to feed himself, the only major difference being that he generally avoided the numerous street gangs of the area. Just why he chose to steal the tires off of Batman's personal mode of transportation is a thing of mystery, even to Jason himself, who shrugs it off as something he had to do when asked by others.
To his dismay, or rather, extreme luck, Batman would arrive before he'd finished on the third tire, catching the then fourteen year old red-handed with the tool used to do the job. Rather than reprimand him, Batman offered to give him a spin. One bad decision after another led to Jason's first time seeing the Batcave, and soon enough, he had donned the red and green tights and yellow cape to begin training as Robin, despite one Lucius Fox's dismay at Bruce's approval of such.
Thrust from the life of a street urchin into the halls of Wayne Manor, Jason took to his new role in gusto, seeing as he had no biological family he cared for, and before long was legally adopted by Bruce Wayne, though he's obviously stopped adding Wayne to the end of his name, for rather blatant reasons.
_A Death in The Family_
Jason, unlike those who have since donned the mantle, did not have a particularly long and dignified run as Robin, but rather a short and tumultuous six months of heated arguments with Bruce and trying to prove to himself that he deserved the costume just as much as his predecessor. Jason was particularly unforgiving to Gotham's street criminals than his contemporaries, partially due to his troubled past and partially due to his naturally aggressive demeanor.
The only particularly noteworthy event during his time as the Boy Wonder was when he foolishly chased a lead regarding a weapons shipment to an abandoned warehouse in the Bowery. Caught in a trap by the laughing man of Gotham, Jason was beaten nearly to death with a crowbar and trapped in the building with a large pile of explosives.
His last thought was one of regret when he heard Bruce pull up in the Batmobile.
_Resurrection_
Dead for almost four years, Jason's body was recovered by Talia and Ra's al Ghul for unknown purposes. Jason does not know just how long they maintained his corpse, but after they had dipped him in a Lazarus Pit everything came flooding back to him. Manipulated by the Demon's Head, Jason trained with the League of Shadows for a period of roughly three months before he managed to learn of the Joker's still being alive. Jason managed to escape the League's compound without being discovered by Talia or Ra's, though it was rather obvious to both just where he intended to go.
Jason maintains that he never intended to enact vengeance on Bruce; the man was still the closest thing he ever had to a father figure, but he needed to learn a lesson Jason himself had learned all those years ago on Gotham's streets. Crime can never truly be stopped, only controlled and regulated.
Integrating himself into Gotham's drug trade rather violently, the Red Hood quickly gained the Dark Knight's attention, and before long, Jason was leading his former mentor on a goose chase to one final showdown. Stuck in his old apartment in Crime Alley with Batman and The Joker, just above where he'd attempted to steal the tires of the Batmobile all those years ago, Jason presented Bruce an ultimatum: His life, or The Joker's.
Of course, Bruce being Bruce, managed to get the gun out of Jason's hand. Betrayed and feeling truly alone, Jason activated a timed bomb and made his escape from the area, never to be seen in Gotham again until years later.
_The Lost Days_
Following his encounter with Bruce and The Joker, Jason chose to travel the world, seeing as Gotham was no longer worth his time or his anger. The next three or so years would be something of an adventure for Batman's fallen son, who would end up spending time in a number of situations; From Freedom Fighting in Qurac, mercenary work in Vlatava, freelance vigilantism in Zandia and even a trip to Santa Prisca just to screw with one of Batman's foremost adversaries.
While on a trip in Bhutran, Jason was approached by Talia, and after making a right fool of himself by shooting at her, Jason was hauled off to an unknown mountain range in the northernmost region of the country and delivered unceremoniously to Ducra, otherwise known as the head of the All-Caste, an ancient order of Monks, or something. Though reluctant, Ducra agreed to train Jason and help him master his anger and sorrow. It was Jason's time in the Chamber of All, reliving all of his past memories and coming to terms with them, that he saw that his time spent trying to find a purpose in anywhere but Gotham was the exact opposite of what he needed to do.
Deciding the life of a monk wasn't for him, Jason left the All-Caste with a new sense of understanding. Ducra gave him a letter from Bruce informing him of his wedding to Catwoman. Though he'd already made up his mind, seeing that Bruce was willing to build bridges after everything Jason had done was a reassuring thought.
He packed his bags and made his way back home. Hopefully he won't be greeted with a Batarang when he arrives without so much as a phone call.

### Character Impressions
_Bruce Wayne, Batman_: "It's taken me a long time to figure out just what the relationship between Bruce and his so called children is. Before, it felt like I hadn't even existed. Killed by the Joker, replaced by someone that perfectly fit the ideal that was Robin, and before that, forced to emulate Grayson in every possible way rather than being myself. I went into that apartment expecting to die. Instead, I went on a four year brooding trip to get my head straight. Bruce may never openly admit it, but he needs us even more than we need him."
_Selina Kyle, Catwoman_: "Here I thought Lucius would've talked Bruce out of it. Honestly, Catwoman? Of all the drop-dead sexy femme fatales we've run into over the years? Shit, why not Wonder Woman or Black Canary? At least they make fighting Penguin and Two-Face a lot easier."
_Dick Grayson_: "One of the only cave crawlers to accept me for who I was, rather than what I was expected to be. I never quite got to have a brotherly bond with my predecessor like Tim has; "Busy with the Titans" was always the excuse, but we did have our moments. If there was anyone who I felt guilty for betraying all those years ago, it was him."
_Barbara Gordon_: "Ahh Barbie, if there was anything that proves that I should've pulled that trigger rather than...trying to wrench the truth out of Bruce, it's you. I don't expect you to forgive me, or to understand my misguided state of mind at the time, but I do hope we can be friends again, some day, but I understand if you never want to talk to me again."
_Tim Drake, Red Robin_: "My golden child of a replacement. Luckily enough for him, Tim wasn't in town during my little tirade, I'd hate to think what would've happened if he was. I do wonder why he named himself after a restaurant though, was "Big Belly" too obvious?"
_Damian Wayne, Robin_: "I wonder what the bride to be thinks about Bruce's dalliance with Talia? Were they even dating at the time? Honestly, Bruce needs to come to terms with his sexual frustration before it results in more kids that consider their katana their best friend. Do wish the kid luck with the cape though, thing was always tight on me."
_Stephanie Brown, Batgirl_: "Cluemaster had a kid?"
_Cassandra Cain, Blackbat_: "Did I miss the memo that in order to be Robin and or Batgirl you had to have a minimum of five years training under international assassins?"
---
**Extra**
- Perhaps as a carry over from his time on the streets, Jason likes to assign nicknames to his closer acquaintances, such as "Barbie" for Barbara and "Circus" for Dick.
- Frequently caught talking to inanimate objects, such as [his bed](http://33.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m73u9pmIkc1r9pw60o1_1280.png).

**Story Arc:**
_Making Amends_
After four years away from Gotham, Jason Todd has returned to the city of his birth on the day of Batman's wedding in order to reintegrate himself into the lives of the only family he has ever known. His time with the All-Caste allowed Jason to deal with and even understand his anger, and he now seeks something he'd never thought he'd seek out again: Redemption, a true sense of belonging, a place to call home. But past actions are hardly ever forgotten and even less so forgiven in Gotham, and Jason's got a long list of people to make amends with, and some less than friendly people are gunning for his helmet.

_Gotham Royalty_
February 19th 1968. Solomon Wayne Hospital. It is a particularly stormy night in Gotham City. A clown attempts to make his son laugh. Haly’s circus rolls into town and renowned surgeon Thomas Wayne and his wife Martha welcome baby Bruce into the world. The Wayne family more or less owned half of Gotham, the other half being held by the Kane family of which Martha was a distant relative. Young Bruce was doted on by his father, mother and godfather Alfred Pennyworth (whom also acted as the family butler). The Wayne’s were the stars in the eyes of all of Gotham, they were so loved. One of Bruce’s favourite memories is one night when he was nine, he and his mother were at a train platform and conversed with a young drifter named Joe (unbeknownst to all, the father of Superman). Everything was great for the Wayne family until that cold wintery night in December 1977, outside the Monarch theatre when Martha was gunned down in the coldest blood by a mugger after her pearls.
_The First Dark Knight._
Upon the murder of his wife, something inside Thomas Wayne snapped and he donned a dark costume and with influence and aid from his friend Alfred, he became the first Batman. The two men fought the corruption of Gotham for six years, all the while young Bruce watched them meticulously, intent on following in his father’s footsteps. In 1984, Wayne Manor burned to the ground with Thomas and Wayne inside it. Bruce had lost everyone. Lucius Fox, another friend of the late Thomas took Bruce in and while the manor was slowly being rebuilt, Fox helped to immerse Bruce even further into his father’s legacy by taking him off on a trip around the world.
_Year One_
In January of 1993, the Gotham Gazette reports strange sitings of a bat like creature. The reports were similar to that of a creature supposedly seen in Gotham between 1977 and 1984. Shortly after, a now adult Bruce Wayne returned to Gotham. After a particularly hostile hostage situation, rookie beat cop James Gordon comes face to face with the Batman and a lifelong partnership is born. In his first year as the dark knight, Bruce seems to cause the manifestation of a new kind of criminal. A man in clown paint. A woman in a cat costume. A portly fella with a crooked nose and an umbrella. Here cometh the rogues.
_My Family_
A trip to the circus changed everything. When Bruce Wayne attended the circus that night with Selina Kyle, little did he expect to stare into the face of his past and his future. The Graysons were murdered in front of their only child’s eyes, just like Bruce’s years before. A connection was formed instantly and Bruce took in the child. From that moment on, nothing was the same as shortly after, the first Robin was born. Grayson. Gordon. Todd. Drake. Kane. Brown. Cain and Wayne. From the ashes of Gotham, a family of heroes was born. Now Bruce looks to add to that family with the addition of Selina Kyle.
A white wedding? Or blood in the snow perhaps?

The time has come for this bond to be tested for the final time and it is to tested in the most unexpected and tragic of ways…

Appearance:
- Quote "I have done all that has been asked of me! I control aspects of my upbringing that neither of you could beginto understand -- and I am dismissed -- by him -- as a threat to be monitored for some hidden agenda? It isn't fair"
-Name Damian Wayne
-Alias: Robin, Occasionally Ibn al Xu'ffasch
-Age 12
-Occupation: Middle Schooler, Vigilante
- Skills & Abilities: Even before becoming Robin the League of Assassins trained Damian in stealth, acrobatics, martial arts and other skills essential to an assassin from an unhealthily young age. His more recent training with Batman has further sharpened his skills and added limited knowledge of escapology, investigation, and hacking to his repertoire, though the non-lethal methods used by the majority of the Bat-Family still constantly clash with his prior training. In addition, though he's relatively inexperienced he possesses a genius level intellect and a natural talent for mimicry that make him a fast learner.
-Equipment Robin suit and utility belt
-Personality & History
Son of the Bat
Allegedly the result of a passionate night between Talia Al Ghul and Bruce Wayne, Damian was the product of a long term plan of Ra's Al'Ghul formed in order to create a perfect tool and heir for his legacy after Bruce turned down his offers to take up the position himself rather forcefully on multiple occasions. The idea was to have not only a potential heir but also a source of leverage against The Batman in future attempts to convert him to Ra's way of thinking. To that end Talia seduced Bruce through questionable circumstances then hid away until Damian was born, concealing his existence and raising him within the League of Assassins.
Heir to the Demon
Damian was trained ruthlessly in the ways of the League of Assassins from nearly the time he could walk and instilled with the ideologies of Ra's Al Ghul almost as early. But outside of his training he was treated as a prince, the son of Ra's Al Ghul's favored heir if not the heir himself, showered with gifts, surrounded by servants and never wanting for anything his heart desired. As a result he took to his lessons and lifestyle within the League passionately, becoming arrogant, ruthless, accustomed to power and convinced he was on a righteous path. More than anything though, he idolized stories his mother told him of his father Bruce Wayne-The Batman a powerful warrior who punished the wicked and would someday join him and his mother in saving the world. It wasn't until Talia revealed Damian's existence to Bruce and supposedly left him under his father's protection against the wishes of an increasingly unstable Ra's Al Ghul that he learned how different reality was from his dreams.
One of the Family
Since coming under his father's tutelage Damian earned the position of Robin mainly through stubbornness, sneaking out to "help" with Batman's nocturnal activities no matter how often he was denied the privilege. Over the past year or so he's struggled not only to be accepted by Bruce's inner circle but also with his own shift in identity and the former lack of rules in his life, especially his willingness to kill. Much of his former arrogance has been forcibly stripped from him.

However, one night while on patrol as Robin he is forcibly sidetracked by a mysterious assailant claiming to be a messenger from the League of Assassins and more importantly, from Ra's Al Ghul himself. Ra's has declared that Damian's time with his father must come to an end, that he wants Damian to return to the League as his favored grandchild and stand by his side once more. What will happen when he's forced to choose between his old life and his new-found family?
Extras
Damian has a major weak spot towards animals of all kinds, would likely bring pets back to the batcave on a regular basis if he were allowed to do so and has even begun considering vegetarianism.
The closest thing he has to a hobby is probably drawing, initially done as an exercise in observational skill but now as something to do when bored or as an emotional outlet.
Damian made a promise to Bruce that he wouldn't kill anyone as a condition of becoming Robin. Despite not always understanding the point of it and what others might believe he actually takes it very seriously.

_A Stray Kitten_
Selina Kyle's early life was defined by tragedy. When she was just a girl, her brutalized mother Maria committed suicide and her violent father Brian drank himself to death soon after. Selina was separated from her younger sister Maggie and she remanded to the Sprang Hall Juvenile Detention Centre, an abusive state home for orphaned or delinquent girls. Eventually, she escaped the Centre and tried pickpocketing the crowd at a carnival outside Gotham City but failed. She was caught by the man who run the place and he offered her to join the carnival. Selina agreed and soon she learned the art of contortionism, gymnastics, magic and trickery. Using her new learned skills, Selina also improved her pickpocketing skills. When the owner of the carnival died in a tragic accident, Selina decided to take her chances on the streets of Gotham City. On her first night alone, she witnessed the murder of Martha Wayne, unbeknownst to Selina, the little boy at the centre of the event would have a great effect on her life.
_Gotham City Siren_
In the intervening years, Selina graduated from picking pockets to full blown robbery and her personal favourite; confidence schemes. Her reputation became so great, the papers labelled her the Gotham City Siren. Unfortunately for Selina, she always wasted whatever score she had taken and had to keep robbing and robbing. When the Batman surfaced, he inspired Selina. This tall dark mystery man completely overtook her interest. After stealing a prototype combat suit from Waynetech, Selina transformed herself into Catwoman. Whilst as the Cat she stalked the Bat, as Selina she stalked Bruce Wayne, the little boy from all those years ago.
_Love Story_
Targeting Bruce was always just supposed to be a con. Selina never had any intention of falling in love with the man. However an unspoken bond that neither could explain was too strong to ignore, it was like gravity pulling them together. Whilst Bruce taught Selina the fine art of money handling, their respective alter egos were also drawn together. For years, the Bat and the Cat danced around each other, the emotions so thick, so powerful. Finally after so long, Batman and Catwoman give into their feelings and a night of passion leads to the discovery of their civilian identities. After much deliberation, the two decided to look away from the past and look to a bright future, a future together…
The two are looking at a White Christmas wedding but with all of Bruce’s “children” coming home for the wedding, Selina is worried. Once upon a time she had fought every single one of them, how could they accept her as their new mom?

_“My heart is cold, unfeeling. What little humanity was left in me has been stolen. It was stolen by YOU! Let me show you how harsh winter can be…” – Victor Fries_

_Born from Ice_
Victor Fries was born in Lowell, Nebraska. As a boy, he and his mother Lorraine would enter the city's annual snowman contest at the first snow. On one such occasion, they were crossing a frozen lake when his mother fell through the ice. Though she survived the experience, she was never the same. For a year, she was confined to a wheelchair with severe brain damage. When the snowman contest came that next year, she had become such a burden on him that Victor’s abusive father Charles led her across the same frozen lake, and allowed her to break through the ice again and drown.
_Nora_
After further years of abuse and after repressing all his rage, Victor moved to Gotham City. In college, he felt that he may never feel a warm touch, but then came [Nora](http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120624173039/truebloodfanfic/images/thumb/a/a8/Mandy-Moore-2012.jpg/500px-Mandy-Moore-2012.jpg), a beautiful athlete, with whom he fell deeply in love with and ultimately married. He later got a job teaching cryogenics at the local college. Nora later fell terminally ill with a rare malady. Fries left teaching and took on a job working for a large drug company called GothCorp, run by the ruthless Ferris Boyle, so he could find a cure. Using his great intellect and passion for cryogenics, Fries discovered a way to put Nora into cryo-stasis (using company equipment), hoping to sustain her until a cure could be found.
_Heart of Ice_
Boyle found out about the experiment and cancelled the funding, attempting to have Nora brought out of stasis and overruling Fries' frantic objections. A struggle ensued, which resulted in Fries becoming engulfed in his own cryogenic coolants and being left for dead. Fries survived, but the chemicals had altered his body chemistry and his body temperature was lowered dramatically; he could now only survive at sub-zero temperatures. Fries escaped, unnoticed with the frozen Nora. The process not only effected Victor physically but emotionally too. Fries became even more emotionally withdrawn and colder than normal, his love for Nora transforming into a borderline obsessive psychosis. Seeing no other option, Victor built a suit to sustain his life and turned to crime. He became a long-time nemesis of Batman in his constant misguided search for a cure for his wife.
_Incident on Robert Kane Bridge_
After years at war with the Batman and in his desperate search for a cure, Victor finally made a break through. Unfortunately fate stepped in. On the run with Nora in the back of his truck, Freeze was speeding out of Gotham only to be stopped on the Robert Kane Bridge by Batman. Soon enough a wave of Freeze’s goons descended on the old red bridge, Batman was overwhelmed until an old friend returned. Dick appeared amongst the fray and helped Batman fight off his attackers. During the course of the fight, Batman forced the cure into Victor which surprisingly cured his biology from its icy infection. A stray bullet deflected by Dick lit up a gas tanker and the frozen Nora was blown into the river where she was forever lost.
_Blood in the Snow_
Victor managed to escape the battle and retreated to the Alaskan wilderness. After a year of isolation, Victor had lost the little humanity left in his cold soul. Using one of his underworld contacts, Fries secretly returned to Gotham and began conducting his experiments. Enter James Fuller and Robert Vans, to black ops soldiers known for their synergy in battle. When the duo were killed in a firefight, their bodies were stolen and delivered to the cold hearted villain for experimentation. Fries’s benefactor wanted weapons for his own personal gain but Victor had another agenda on his mind; revenge. Developing a communication and control network named the Interface, Victor would use this tool to manipulate his newest creations, the Tandem. Now all he needed was platform for his vengeance.
The wedding of Gotham’s favourite son was the perfect option…

_**“And it was only then that young Stephanie truly realized...gravity would forever be her enemy."**_
**Name:**
Stephanie Brown
**Alias:**
Batgirl, formerly Spoiler, formerly Robin
**Age:**
19
**Occupation:**
College student.
**Skills & Abilities**
- Trained by Batman, Richard Dragon, and O-Sensei in martial arts and the ninja arts.
- Trained by Zatanna Zatara in escape and sleight of hand.
- Possibly the best driver in the Batcave.
- Knows the Gotham Underworld from her father.
- Can fake her death like NO ONE'S business.
**Equipment**
- Whatever she 'steals' from the Cave.
- Batgirl suit.
**Personality & History:**
Stephanie Brown started life as just another smart-assed Gotham City girl, born in the lower middle class scrum of inner Gotham City living to Arthur and Crystal Brown. For the majority of her young life, Arthur Brown was more an absentee father than proper parent. Arthur was no dead beat dad, no alcoholic, or womanizer--he was a masked villain that went by the alias of Cluemaster. Though the Cluemaster was able to confound the Gotham City Police Department, there would be no out foxing Gotham's new Dark Knight.
Thanks to Batman, Stephanie's father would spend the vast majority of her childhood behind bars for one crime, or another. Interestingly enough, Stephanie never blamed Batman for this--she blamed her idiot father. Despite this, Steph and her mother had a decent life, all things considered. Her mother worked as a nurse and took enough shifts to take care of their needs, and to take care that Steph barely saw her, too. This lifestyle would turn Steph into an incredibly independent young woman, learning she could never depend on anyone but herself.
Later in her adolesence Arthur Brown would finally return home, and declare himself a reformed man. Happy to hear it and hoping it was a new leaf for her father, but refusing to trust him, Stephanie began stalking her father due to her suspicions. It wasn't long before her father disappointed his little girl yet again, this time for the last time. This time it wasn't the Batman who put an end to Cluemaster's newest crime spree...it was a purple clad, never born seen, vigilante that simply called herself 'the Spoiler.'
Though unsanctioned by the Bat or his Cavelings, Steph found quitting the vigilante game much more difficult than she expected. It wasn't long before she was brushing capes with the likes of Robin and Nightwing. After a friendship and partnership developed with Tim Drake, then Robin, even Batman himself was forced to contend with the fearless daughter of Arthur Brown--a daughter that had inherited Arthur's intellect. In short time even Batman would have to admit her talents, leading to multiple stints for Stephanie as Robin, and multiple 'firings', before the big man finally trusted Steph enough to bring her on full time, not as Spoiler or Robin, but the new Batgirl.
A mantle Stephanie is determined to put her unique 'stamp' on...
**Impressions**
_Batman:_ You gotta feel for this guy, right? Talk about a bad hand of cards dealt to you at the start of the game. Bruce is getting better, I think; starting to realize there's either a life AFTER Batman, or there simply will never be life AFTER Batman, and that choice is entirely his...
_Catwoman:_ My bad girl icon. It's actually a little sad to think that the Catwoman I grew up watching from a distance is likely gone from Gotham City for good. Good for private art collections all over the city, bad for having cool anti-heroes in the shadows of Gotham City nights.
_Grayson:_ The boy scout with a bad side. I'm always a little worried his true focus left Gotham City ages ago, instead worrying after star-crossed Titans, and being a reservist for the Justice League. But considering I may know Dick the least out of all the Bat-fam, best to wait and see what comes of this one.
_Barbara:_ My living, breathing, Warning Sign. Wonder what happens to the Robins and Batgirls that get taken out? Look no further than Babs; both for what happens, and how to turn getting taken out into anything but the END of your story. Sure as hell not the end of Bab's story, as she continues to re-write what's possible seemingly using nothing but the power of her own human will. You go, girl. And, hey, she gave me her blessing for Batgirl.
_Jason Todd:_ Sometimes I think Jason's around the Cave JUST IN CASE anyone here forgets how to brood. Because, you know, can't be having Batcaves without brooding. It just would not do, as Alfred was so fond of saying. So that's my suspicion why Todd's still hanging around. It's either that, or not even death gets you out of the Batcave rollcall. Needless to say, I don't trust him.
_Tim:_ The gorgeous guy with the super-fine mind and the athleticism, not to mention body, of an NFL All-Star. Not a bad ex-boyfriend, even if I say so myself--which I TOTALLY do! Tim's still the same sweet soul I remembered before I shocked everyone by suddenly appearing as if by magic, and taking on the Batgirl mantle. To say this confused Tim is something of an understatement, I'm afraid. He knows I dig the superhero game. He knows I'm probably in it for the rest of my life. Let's just hope 'the rest of my life' at least lets me reach my 30s.
_Kate Kane:_ Oh, just an uber-wealthy red haired hottie that's decided I'm her college campus pal. And here I thought the Cave was where all the weird shit in my life would go down. Whatever Kane's reasons, I'm actually glad to be her campus pal; she's fun, likes talking as much as I do, and is utterly fearless. Sometimes I think there's more to her than meet's the eye...although judging by Kate's many campus admirers, what does meet the eye on Kate Kane might just keep her plenty busy.
_Damian:_ Talk about rough starts to life. I'm not sure which is worse; having the Cluemaster as your father, or having the Batman as your father. At least the Cluemaster would eventually give it up. The Batman? May only 'give it up' if he dies. That's the cold, harsh, black and white reality in which this kid exists. And in a competition between mothers, I'm well aware my mom is a huge win over Damian's crazy-fuck mom. Believe it or not, I think women kinda freak him out, especially strong women who AREN'T crazy-fuck and evil. It's like the poor kid's brain just can't compute such a thing.
Oh well. I'm nice to him when he lets me be.
**Story Arc:**
_The New Bird._
As the newest addition to the Bat family, Stephanie is still trying to find her place, feeling as if she has to 'justify' the decision to hand her the 'Batgirl' mantle. For the first time in her life, Steph wants to see this through to the end--and having already 'died' as Robin once, she knows exactly what 'the end' means for members of the Bat family. Something of a mixture of all past Robins and Batgirls; with a smarter mouth than all past members combined...lucky Bruce. Despite her reputation, the new Batgirl has proven herself equal parts resourceful, cunning, and too violent to be ignored.
Whether she likes it or not, Gotham's goons, and their villain bosses, have begun to talk about the new bird in the Gotham night sky. It's only a matter of time until Batgirl is tested to her core by the likes of the Joker, or Two-Face. Whether Batman thinks she's ready for that, or not.

Due to the clashes with his father Luke grew closer to his mother Tanya who was more understanding of his rebellion. He now strives to be his own man, to make his own path in life. Because of this Luke will not easily accept handouts or gifts of charity.
History:
Born to Lucius and Tanya after the couple had graduated from college he was the first addition to the Fox lineage. His birth was a source of unbelievable joy for his parents and Lucius in particular who dreamed his son would follow in his footsteps. Already living in Wayne Manor, Lucius served as Bruce’s legal guardian. As Luke aged Lucius began to convey his wishes for his son to follow in his footsteps, to become another engineer under Bruce Wayne’s employ. But Lucius had other ideas, he wanted to start his own business, Luke wanted to design and forge his own ideas. Eventually Lucius sought to make a deal with Luke, asking him to at least finish college. True to his word Luke Fox finished his education at MIT College, while picking up martial arts skills he would employ in tournaments or as a masked vigilante later in his life.
But Luke’s college life was far from uneventful, getting mixed up in gang territory Luke and his friend Russel were forced to defend themselves. After this night Luke realized the rush he gained from fighting and would fight with Batman later on against the same gang. Luke continued to fight as a masked crime fighter, even saving Bruce Wayne at a party. Unbeknownst to Luke however the Batman had his eyes on him and was the Dark Knight’s first choice for the Batwing mantle, however Bruce had no wish to put his friend Lucius’s son in danger, instead of Luke Fox receiving the mantle it was David Zavimbe who received the suit.
With the resignation of David Batman approached Luke with the suit and the chance to be Batwing. After his recruitment Batman trained Luke for months before deploying him with a power suit, designed to safeguard his identity and grant him protection, the irony lies with the fact that Luke’s father had made the suit. His first Mission sent him to Africa where he faced Lady Marabunta whom he eventually defeated before disobeying Batman and shutting down the warlord Lion-Mane. Returning from a bumpy but successful mission Luke came back to Gotham without notifying his family and started his own business, Foxtecha. Of course as another business surfaced, one with such an obvious name, Lucius knew his son had returned. Seeking to make amends with his son he attempted to find him, simply to speak to him. But on his way to Luke his father Lucius had been kidnapped, teaming up with Batman once more the duo hunted down the Marabunta and struck a major blow to the gang while rescuing their common friend.
Discovering his mother had been kidnapped Luke as Batwing teamed up with the legionary. Her abduction left Batwing emotional and brutal as he tore through Gotham’s underground searching for his mother. Discovering his friend Russel, who had turned to using Venom for power, had been the mastermind behind the kidnapping Luke vowed revenge. Making his way through an army of thugs and gangsters Luke eventually found his old friend Russel, now known as Menace. Engaging each other in a deadly one on one Luke was able to apprehend his friend but not without serious damage to his own power suit, damage that would take days to repair. Instead of a simple repair job Luke saw it as a chance to use his own genius and improved the suit far beyond its previous abilities. As for his mother she left the family as the kidnapping had scared her, she felt that being rich drew attention to her and so she divorced her husband Lucius. Feeling alone Lucius sought to make amends with his only remaining family, his son Luke.

Edwin Dorrance | Twenty-three | Dark Cloak
Stats:
6'3 (Without venom) 6'7 (With venom)
195 lbs (Without venom) 279 lbs. (With venom)
Black hair
Brown eyes
Occupation: Waiter, vigilante
Skills & Abilities:Combat: Trained under Bane from an early age, Edwin is a capable martial artist and wrestler - yet, he still has much to learn.
Bane taught Dark Cloak a number of martial arts, including some the warrior had formed on his own. Edwin's fighting style is less stationary than Bane's, but still appears rather slow and bulky when put alongside the likes of Batman and the Robins. He is trained to observe his enemies movements and is capable of blocking most kicks and punches that he can see coming. Edwin is also a skilled wrestler; Bane trained him to use his size to his advantage, specifically by using counter-grapples to catch his enemies in various choke holds when Edwin blocks their attacks.
Without his venom, Edwin mostly relies on his defensive abilities to tire his opponents until they are too exhausted to defend themselves against Edwin's own assault. He generally uses light punches and heavy combinations, rarely using his feet unless absolutely necessary.
On venom, however, Dark Cloak becomes much more offensive. He's much quicker to counter attack his opponents than without his steroids, and uses more grappling techniques. He generally goes for grabs and takedowns, only punching when he needs to tag much more agile opponents, or if his enemy is a better wrestler than he is. He'll occasionally use mix-ups instead of counter-grappling to keep his opponents on their toes.
Mental: Like most members of the Dorrance family, Edwin has a photographic memory. While not on par with Bane's, Edwin is capable of remembering most anything he tries to. He can usually recall most things he sees or hears without much difficultly. This has allowed him to excel in his schooling, as well as his martial arts training.
Unlike the other Dorrances', however, Edwin lacks a genius level intellect. While he is considered above average, Edwin struggles with subjects like Calculus, Algebgra, and Physics. He tends to have trouble paying attention during lessons, and when he does he usually becomes rather frustrated at the simplest of problems. Bane chided his student for his lack of discipline in this area, but never pushed him to his limit as he did with Edwin's body.
Being from Santa Prisca, Edwin is fluent in Spanish. His father Charles, however, made sure that he was able to communicate in both English and Mandarin as well. Edwin is now fluent in all three languages, thanks in part to his photographic memory.
Bane passed on his tactical ability and extensive strategic knowledge down to his nephew during their training sessions. Edwin has memorized the likes of "The Art of War" and "On War," both of which are considered the venerable Bibles of the greatest generals of history. Edwin is slowly learning to use these teachings to fight crime, however he struggles to make connections on his own and generally requires a few beatings before he realizes how he can win a certain fight.
Edwin's crowning achievement in regards to his intellect comes in the form of his Dark Cloak suit. It required quite a bit of research, sweat, and money to create, but he was able to do so. Hopefully without arousing suspicion.
Venom: Edwin's use of the Super-steroid Venom allowed him to temporarily enhance his physical functions to superhuman levels, particularly his strength, endurance, and speed. His body's senses and healing abilities are also augmented to a degree. Dark Cloak needs to periodically inject himself with Venom to retain these abilities, although overuse can result in temporary insanity.
As a side note, every dosage of Venom tends to affect Edwin's frame permanently. With each use, his muscles become more solid and his stamina increases. However, each dosage also makes Edwin even more addicted to the substance.
Superhuman Strength: The primary effect of Venom is that it enhances strength to low superhuman levels, depending on how much venom is injected. Edwin has been shown to be just as strong if not even stronger than Batman without the Venom, and while injected is able to bend thick steel. When Bane injects the maximum amount of Venom that is considered healthy into himself, he becomes capable of lifting about 3 tons. He is ultimately capable of exceeding his limit to 5 tons, though not without temporarily losing control over himself.
Enhanced Reflexes: Under the effects of Venom, Edwin can react just as fast as the fittest human can. Able to react as fast if not a margin faster than Batman, Edwin has fought many opponents while applying his tactics and supporting his massive frame.
Enhanced Speed: Under the effects of Venom, Edwin can run as fast as the fittest human can. Running on par with Olympic runners, Bane can support his weight while maintaining a high rate of speed.
Superhuman Stamina: Under the effects of Venom, Dark Cloak can fight almost forever. As long as he can continue to pump Venom into his veins he can continue fighting indefinitely. While on a single dose of venom Edwin has fought many battles for many hours and never seemingly stopped.
Superhuman Durability: Under the effects of Venom, Dark Cloak can withstand powerful blows from metahumans, multiple bullets and explosions. With mere scratches and bruises Bane has withstood extreme torment at the hands of his enemies.
Accelerated Healing: Bane can also use his Venom as a form of medicine to heal from injuries, poisons and diseases. Depending on how devastating the injury, Edwin needs to inject a certain amount of Venom into himself. When faced with extreme wounds, such as many broken bones, excessive blood loss, or terminal poisons or diseases, Edwin needs to inject an unhealthy amount of venom which will cause him to temporarily go berserk in order to heal properly.
Shamelessly stole most of that from the wiki. I updated it to cut out Bane's name, as well as changed some of the factors to be more consistent with New 52 Venom.
Equipment: Improved Venom Delivery System: Edwin has developed a tubing system linked directly to his body, similar to the one his uncle uses. However, there are a few key differences: The tubing itself is left underneath Dark Cloak's armor and clothing, to prevent the tubes from being easily accessed by opponents looking to stop Edwin's flow of Venom. Secondly, the button used to send bursts of Venom into Edwin's system is on his belt buckle, not his wrist. There is also an emergency button located on the back of his neck.
Personality & History: Charles Dorrance is the son of Edmund and one of King Snake's many prostitutes. At first, Edmund saw the child as a threat to his legitimacy and forced the whore into an abortion. Luckily for Charles, the doctors had chosen a technique that lacked a 100% kill rate. This small chance allowed Charles to survive; his mother, seeing this as a sign from above, took Charles in and raised him. Charles grew up hating and resenting his father, planning to exact revenge against King Snake for his attempted murder. As an adult, Charles was a wealthy businessman, one of the few in Hong Kong not in Edmund Dorrance's pocket. When Charles approached his father, claiming to be Edmund's bastard child, King Snake tried to kill him. King Snake pushed his own son out of a window; yet again, however, Charles survived.
The battered man left Hong Kong, heading for the last place he expected Edmund to come looking for him - Santa Prisca. It was there that Charles met the love of his life, Maria. The two married after only a year of courtship, and Maria bore Charles' child, Edwin. Years later, when Edwin was eight years old, King Snake's assassins attacked. They seemed to have finally tracked Charles down and were there to finish the job that their leader could not. Charles fought bravely, but he didn't stand a chance against the attackers. It was only by chance that Maria and Edwin came into contact with Bane's men. During Charles' trials and tribulations, Bane had been embroiled in a long and brutal war against the tyrants and drug lords that ran Santa Prisca. Maria told Bane all that had transpired; at first, the Man who Broke the Bat could not believe the fantastical tale.
However, after performing a DNA test on Edwin, Maria's impossible story was revealed to be truth. Bane then took in his sister-in-law and her son, promising to keep them safe from harm. Edwin then grew up under the tutelage of both Maria and Bane; quite soon, Edwin began to look at Bane as his second father. The supervillian turned dictator took it upon himself to teach Edwin all that Ra's Al Ghul had taught him. The ex-heir to the League of Assassins raised Edwin with the same brutal teachings he had learned behind the walls of Peña Duro. At first, Maria was against such horrible methods being used on a mere child; however, after a time, she learned to accept that Bane meant to make Edwin strong. If Charles had been strong, he could have protected himself and his family, and he wouldn't of had to die. That's what Bane told Maria, anyway, and that is what she told herself whenever she witnessed her son being beaten and battered in yet another brutal martial arts lesson.
When Edwin was seventeen, everything seemed to fall apart in Santa Prisca. Bane was removed from his throne by rebels and turncoats. This forced Maria and Edwin to flee alongside Bane to Gotham. Upon his arrival into Gotham, Bane and his allies found themselves beset by none other than Two-Face. A turf war broke out between the two powerhouses; many lives were lost in the first few days of the conflict. Tragedy struck the Dorrance family once more. Two-Faces goons had gunned down Maria and severely wounded Edwin during one of their raids on Bane's small but growing territory. Eventually Bane was able to broker a peace treaty with Two-Face; however, the damage had already been done. The loss of his mother being too much to bare, Edwin began to take the Venom drug in an effort to escape his reality. Edwin soon became addicted to the strength it gave him.
Bane and his gang retreated into the shadows, not wanting to attract the attention of the Batman before Bane's plans were complete.
Hearing of the defeat of his uncle, Edwin leaves Bane's gang (enraging Byrd in the process) and moves out to live on his own. A few months into living in a small apartment and working a full time job at a diner, Edwin begins to develop an obsession with the Batfamily. He started to study them, recording and archiving anything he could find that involved them. Eventually, the Batfamily's efforts began to have an effect on Edwin's psyche. Eventually, his obsession became a life style for Edwin - The man, now twenty one, began to engage in acts of vigilantism. He would stop robberies, catch muggers, and other such small deeds. It was only when he first encountered Killer Croc and had his face plastered all over the memory of the giant green thug that Edwin considered donning his own version of the cape and cowl. After all, he didn't need supervillians knowing what his face looked like.
So Edwin designed his own version of the Bat-costume, and took to the streets as...Dark Cloak!
..He really needed to work on the name.
Character Impressions:Batman: The Batman? He is my inspiration. The Dark Knight is the reason I put on the mask. He's the greatest warrior this world has ever known, and my only chance at defeating my grandfather in combat. I must convince him to train me. It is my destiny!
Nightwing: The man from Bludhaven. He went missing from action four or five years ago, if I remember my studies correctly. His connection to the Batman is unknown to me; but I have observed the pair working together before. An excellent fighter, if not a little too light on his feet for a man.
Red Robin: Ah, yes. The previous Robin. He, like the rest of the Bat personas, is a formidable warrior. I followed his formation of the so called 'Teen Titans' with interest; from what records show, the team is highly successful. I've always wonder why he left the Batman's side for inferior allies, though...Perhaps a falling out?
Oracle: Who?
TANDEM: I am unfamiliar with them.
Batwoman: An interesting character to be sure. She is extreme in her methodology; willing to go places the other Bats are not. I admire that in her. However, I hypothesis that the other vigilantes do not. From what I've seen, she and the rest of the Cowls do not interact often. Maybe she acts on her own accord, as I do? It is hard to say. She does not appear to have the same martial skill as the Batman or his counterparts.
Robin:The current Robin is...Different, from the others. I can see it in the way he fights. He seems more skilled, and more aggressive. Perhaps even a bit arrogant. I wonder why that is...
Catwoman: The Catwoman is a thief. She is a savage combatant, but lacks the discipline to finish the fight. I haven't seen much of her these days..Perhaps she has retired? Better for all of Gotham, if that is the case.
Blackbat: The Batgirl of Hong Kong. I have kept a close eye on her exploits overseas; for she operates in the home of the serpent that I hunt. A ferocious warrior, worthy of the Cowl she wears. Perhaps a potential ally for his war against the snake?
Batwing: Yes, I know the name. He's the armored soldier who battled alongside Batman, ridding Gotham of one of its gangs. I've heard rumor he defeated a man using Venom; a remarkable feat. However, I know little of his exploits outside Gotham: I've heard he was seen in Africa multiple times. A powerful vigilante to be sure.
Red Hood: A gangster, if I remember correctly. A drug lord who battled the Batman...He disappeared after his apparent defeat. Rumor has it he was in Santa Prisca for a time. Just another rogue, fallen to the might of the Bat.
James Gordon: Gotham's Police Commissioner. A honest man, with a commendable list of accomplishments. It takes quite a bit of courage to work in this city's police force. To lead it, though? That is another thing entirely.
Story Arc: The Serpent of Hong Kong: Edwin's training is finally complete, and he has amassed a large group of allies and believes himself prepared to take down his grandfather, King Snake. Travelling to Hong Kong, Edwin prepares himself to do whatever is necessary to end the serpent's reign and redeem his family's name. He will do anything for redemption: even if it means Dark Cloak must take his grandfather's life.
Extra:
Edwin is an insomniac - he can't sleep without a bit of Venom in his system.
Dark Cloak plans to some day defeat Bane in the trials of combat, to prove himself better than his master.
Edwin isn't of completely sound mind.
In Costume Appearance: Edwin's costume uses a color pallet of grey, red, and black. Underneath the armor lies a highly elastic suit made of various fabrics, to create the apex of stretchy clothing. When Dark Cloak activates his Venom, the plates shift to allow the extra mass to grow comfortably; the underlining expands as Edwin's muscles do. The helmet and boots both have a similar function installed.

The Huntress
Age
27
Occupation
Entrepreneur
Skills & Abilities
Helena Bertinelli’s childhood consisted of being the daughter of criminal organizer, Franco Bertinelli, and as such has a distinct familiarity with the inner-workings of organized crime which makes her adept at not only utilizing it but also combating it as the Huntress.
Helena picked up her first handgun when she was seven years of age, and her first bow during time at famed Gotham institution— Brentwood Academy. This gives her a long and confident familiarity with ranged weapons, though most of this pertains only to smalls arms.
Helena Bertinelli was trained extensively following her mother’s death and the stability of Gotham’s criminal underworld falling during the crusade of The Dark Knight himself. Her father installed Tony Angelo as a martial arts and “survival” instructor (and later bodyguard) to ensure that Helena could survive the world before her.
In addition to martial arts, Helena was trained in espionage and stealth tactics by Tony Angelo which defined her as not only adept in self-defense but also adept in evasion.
Equipment
Modified Ducati 1098 – The preferred method of transporting the vigilante.
A collapsible, combat efficient metallic staff that she has jokingly referred to as the “battle staff”.
A utility belt that comprises several gadgets including a grappling hook, small arms crossbow, tear gas, stun grenades, and the like.
Personality & HistoryEarly Life
Helena Bertinelli is the daughter of Franco Bertinelli and Maria Bertinelli (ne. Panessa), who was born into a world of infinite possibilities as well as a world of crime given her father’s role as the boss of the Bertinelli Crime Family or as it was known in the criminal underworld: the Cosa Nostra. Descended from Sicilian immigrants that set sights on Gotham City as the next “New York” in the nineteen-thirties, the family has been in operation for a lengthy amount of time and was said to be the biggest threat to Gotham’s orderly infrastructure until the appearance of what is now referred to as the “Roman Empire”. But the days of Guiseppe and Alfredo Bertinelli were long passed by the time Helena was brought up in the world as the simple state of the crime family was not second but third banana to Gotham Organized Crime. In spite of this, Franco wished Helena to have a healthy childhood—one of which he did not have given the state of Gotham when he was a child. Unfortunately, we all don’t get what we wish.
Franco Bertinelli’s ultimate weakness in Gotham was a lack of utter ruthlessness that his grandfather, Guiseppe Bertinelli, had—following in the illusion that their business should be clean, honorable, and still efficient. However other crime families had thrown out old concepts of honor amongst thieves, and began to peddle (as well as torment) whoever they pleased. This was evident as Roman influence began to conquer the political infrastructure whilst Maroni introduced European Sex Trafficking to Gotham’s unfortunate citizens. However, this did not conquer Franco’s ideals and virtues.
During Helena’s childhood, Franco Bertinelli called a meeting of the families and arranged a sort of mob truce that should’ve inspired a white peace and for a good while it worked. That is until greed and intrigue filled the eyes of said rival families. Bertinelli leaned on his friend and mentor, Salvatore Valestra to help advise him on the dark times for the family to which Salvatore suggested he played it safe and quiet as tensions continued to rise. Said tensions almost cracked when Franco’s wife and son were killed in an incident that echoed the violence that absorbed many affluent families. Carlton Duquesne, a longtime enforcer and then sub-boss suggested that it was a declaration of war and that they needed to act; but without the proper intelligence nobody knew who was responsible and Salvatore Valestra suggested they do not act until they had a hint of responsibility—the only thing was known was either it was an coincidental accident or threat to any person who bore the name Bertinelli. Helena was only six years old when this tragedy occurred and the only reason she survived was the fact she was sick and stayed home on that very night.
Franco Bertinelli became paranoid and damaged after the incident; and looked to his daughter as the only thing that really allowed him from losing his mind, though ironically it also facilitated his paranoia and rampant anxiety. Assigning a personal security expert and self-defense teacher named Tony Angelo, Franco decided it was time to teach Helena about the family and the reality that she needed to know how to protect herself from the danger lurking in the shadows. This would continue for years as the young girl would learn stealth, martial arts, and weapon finesse when she could; especially during summer which Franco would have Angelo take her overseas. Helena’s life thereon seemed mundane as she was inducted into Brentwood Academy and then Gotham University, where she joined her childhood friend Kathleen Duquesne and others in what seemed a relatively ordinary life for a young adult and it was… for a time.
Year One
Fast forward to the frigid New Jersey winter of 2004, when the Bertinelli became the target of a new plot by Stefano Mandragora who attempts to gain favor as he incites an attempt to incite a brutal blood feud between the last remaining pieces of “Old Gotham”. As bullets mow down Helena and her father, the implications of a brutal breaking of the mob peace comes to play as Salvatore Valestra is framed for the endeavor as Mandragora looms in the shadows waiting for the bloodbath to ensue. One mitigating factor changes everything when Helena Bertinelli wakes up undeceased at Gotham General as mob doctor and family friend, Dr. Bradford Thorne, begins to explain to Helena what exactly has just happened and how lucky she should feel to be alive. This sets in motion the events that would make the then seventeen year old girl to don her alias of HUNTRESS and ravage the Gotham underworld in vengeful anger—something the Gotham Gazette would attribute to the influence of “Batman”.
It did not take Helena long to discover that the war between Valestra and Bertinelli was conjured, though admittedly she refused to see the obvious fabrication due to her uncontrollable anger and hate. It was only when she was lectured by the Dark Knight himself by her “sloppy vigilantism” and approached by another man in a trenchcoat and fedora who told her the facts blatantly that she would succumb to a degree of reason. It came to a point in the Mandragora estate when she could feel the simple taste of revenge… but the taste felt sour and rotten and she didn’t fire the bullet but rather allowed the police to take the man who killed her father into custody. She would return home to much contemplation.
At the very least it started the awkward but diverse relationship Helena would begin to have with the ambiguous “The Question”.
Later Adventures
Between 2005 and 2015, the Huntress became something of an addition to Gotham’s fears at night, which most certainly caused tension between herself and the Batfamily. In the sunlight, Helena went to the University of Gotham with her friends, Kathleen Duquesne and Jessica Sharp. But with every stride Helena did as a citizen there was always somebody trying to bring her family down even with the majority of it being five feet under the ground. However, the first step to her becoming a true hero erupted when her friend found herself in a distressing scenario as it seemed her art exhibit of expression became repurposed as an event for the Royal Flush Gang. This would be the first time she encountered the Dark Knight since his lecture—though she cared nothing for Batman’s approval and made that clear as she was concerned with her friends and public’s safety. From thereon it was only uphill for The Huntress as a vigilante.
Fast forward through a decade of adventures and the laundry list becomes long—working with Black Canary occasionally, dealing with the craziest aspects of what was left of the Roman Empire, conspiracies and detective cases with The Question, and in the end taking over the Bertinelli Crime Family and it’s legal business operations.
Which brings us to… the present.
Character Impressions
Batman
“I don’t think I’ve ever been more lectured, or threatened by somebody in my entire life… which is saying something given who my father was and what was expected of me. We’re better now than when I started this whole vigilante thing and I think I have to be honest that his methods are what inspired me to don the purple cloak. He’s an inspiration to everyone, but he’s domineering and difficult to work with. I have a lot of issues with the dark knight, but we’re on good terms.”
Bruce Wayne
“In my circles, you get to know people like Bruce Wayne and I’m not sure if I ever entirely liked the idea of being part of the high society because of people like him. I mean when you’re young you swoon over the big shot charisma and charm, but then you realize you’re just another trophy on the wall—another conquest. But maybe I was wrong about him as it seems he’s getting married and the city’s just about to explode on that concept alone.”
Catwoman
“The famed thief and later vigilante—it seems like every time that my best friend has an art exhibit the person responsible for her losing out is on her. I don’t really think I’ve ever run into her outside of a few tussles after those exhibits, though there was that one time regarding that art exhibit and Clayface…”
Batgirl
“Whether it’s blonde or red, it seems like these are the parts of the Batfamily that I don’t want to ignore or punch in the face. I’m not sure where Batman finds all of these people to be his sidekick-distractions; makes me wonder if he owns an orphanage out somewhere and trains them to be assassins or something. No, that’s silly.”
Batwing
“I have no clue who this is.”
Batwoman
“I actually don’t know much about this one, is she new and is she another crony of the Dark Knight or someone completely unrelated? I mean it wouldn’t be the first time someone was influenced by him.”
Black Bat
“Kind of freaks me out, a bit. There’s a sense of brutality that works and well she has it. I’d never want to be on the receiving end of her shit and I’ve sparred with Black Canary.”
Nightwing
“The first Robin until he decided it was way more interesting in being a no money vigilante in Bludhaven. Maybe the brooding was better there... like gloomier shadows or some crap? I haven’t heard any news regarding him in ages though, maybe he died like Robin's tend to do? I don’t know.”
Oracle
“I just have a feeling about this thing, a weird feeling that somebody is going to be taking orders from a disembodied AI or something. Well, it’s better than Skynet. Everything’s better than Skynet. I hope this doesn’t turn into Skynet.”
Red Hood
“I’m not quite sure who this guy is or where he went, but I’m glad he’s gone. Back during the whole incident he tried taking over Gotham’s underbelly as if he could do it on guns and motorcycles alone. Since he left there was a lot of damage control to do and if he ever rears his head again he could be a real problem.”
Red Robin
“The Robin after the dead one, right? From the encounters I’ve had he’s practically Sherlock Holmes—like movie Sherlock Holmes. I thought Batman was supposed to be the World’s Greatest Detective? Sheesh, he’s alright by me though as he seems to be the only cooperative one I’ve run to since the first one became Nightwing and decided to brood in neighboring Bludhaven.”
Robin
“I’ve never really run into the new Robin, and it actually kind of scares me a little that they keep telling me that he’s angrier than even the Bat himself. One brooding pile of rage is enough, but two?”
Story ArcOmerta the Silencer - Helena is faced with a dangerous situation when professional hitman and international criminal, Omerta “the Silencer” is attributed to a contract on her life after her early actions as the boss of the Bertinelli Crime Family leads her to be at odds with Gotham’s rich and powerful criminal underbelly once again.
More to come here.

- Personality & History
Calvin’s birth was one of great sadness as his mother passed away during childbirth and his father could not handle raising a child alone as the mother’s death placed him in a great depression. Instead Calvin was given away to an old family friend and ringmaster of Haly’s Circus. From the moment he could walk, eyes shrouded in darkness watched him like hawk. Even his interactions with the young Dick Grayson were of note to these unseen individuals. Dick Grayson proved to be a valuable friend for the short time that they knew of each other. He and his family inspired Calvin to train hard and helped bring attention to his prominent abilities at such a young of six.
At age six, the unseen individuals petitioned Haly to give up the young boy. What had not been known to the general public, things that would see Haly locked up for life, was that the Court of Owls recruited from Haly’s Circus among other places. The Court were a hidden sect of assassin only known to a few in the world and they international figures on par with the League of Shadows. Haly brought Calvin to a secluded tent to test the boy infront of the court. He exceeded their expectation and was drafted into the Court of Owls.
The Court of Owls began a very rough training for Calvin and many other children that would punish them whenever they displayed an ounce of weakness, breaking their very will except for Calvin who proved to be more resistant to the methods of the Court. Fate deemed Calvin as a promising Talon, name of the Court’s assassins, in the making. Even when the experiments were applied, Calvin took to them greater then the others. The perfect specimen but an enigma all the same, Calvin re-purposing as a Talon could not stop the thoughts in the back of mind.
The first kill came at the age of 14. A business man who had wronged a man and found himself with a target upon his head. Calvin swooped in for a clean kill in front of the man’s child. The look from the child’s eyes helped bring to the forefront what Calvin always thought about, escaping the restraints of the Court. He was not strong enough just yet and would need to bide his time. Several years passed as Calvin continued as a puppet for the Court, growing his overall talents, and proving himself the most promising Talon to date.
His escape would come when he was forced to kill a woman named Casey and bring her child Sarah to the Court. Thoughts of fleeing this life swayed his mind everyday and night. The assassin descended upon his target in the dead of night before learning of the true reasons as to why this woman was meant to be killed. It was all over the fact that she knew of the Court and their secrets. It took a while before he could convince her that he wanted to help her instead. Unfortunately the Court held knowledge upon Calvin’s motives and sent The Butcher Talon to ensure that Casey was killed and Calvin taught a lesson. A battle ensued between the men that left Casey dead, and Calvin sent into the water below with little Sarah in arms.
Both survived their encounter with the Butcher Talon and Calvin escaped with the young girl to the city of Gotham where he knew someone that could help him by the name Dick Grayson. Through their interactions, Calvin was able to find himself as Sarah’s adopted father, and part of the GCPD. He became Talon to fight and solve the cases that he could not as a Detective. What the future intended for Calvin would unveil itself soon.

Many over the years have asked the questions; what gave way to the horror of the Joker? Where did he come from? How is he the way he is? When asked, a different answer is always given. Finally, the truth…..
Why So Serious?
Jackson Napier was born just south of Crime Alley. A shy, quiet and often stoic boy, young Jack was often mocked for an apparent lack of emotion or empathy, even his own father Ron would often mock him; repeatedly asking “Why So Serious?”. Ron was not only mentally and emotionally abusive but he was also physically violent as well. Too often he would come home drunk and beat his wife and son. Eventually one such beating got out of hand and Jack’s father ended up killing his wife right before his sons eyes. Fearing repercussions, he buried her in the garden, pulled Jack out of school, destroyed the boys birth certificate, eventually joining up with Haley’s circus as it passed through Gotham. Despite the change in scenery, nothing changed for Jack and his dad, the beatings continued and young Jack’s only semblance of peace was in the clown tent. When Ron began to turn on the other circus performers, they rallied against him and a brawl ensued. With Jack watching from the side-lines, he witness one of the clowns take an oversized mallet and bash Ron Napier’s brains in. Young Jack sat laughing….
The Laughing Man
Jack never went back to school and after a few more years he left the circus. Returning to Gotham, he started out as a young enforcer working for the mob triad of Sal Valestra, Buzz Bronski, and Chuckie Sol. At one point early on, before his future accident, he and Bruce Wayne caught a glimpse of each other, the image of “laughing man” stuck with the future dark knight for many years. One of his last jobs took place in Europe on the Mediterranean Coast. His target was Carl Beaumont, a businessman who had fled the states after the mob bosses discovered he'd embezzled a fortune. After the Beaumont Killing, Jack formed his own gang but this gang did not last and soon he left to try and finally have a normal life; even repressing his memories of his criminal activities.
One Bad Day
Using connections gathered during his brief time with the Valestra’s, Jack began working at Ace Chemicals as an engineer. Whilst working there he met Jeannie and the two fell madly in love. He was completely and utterly devoted to her as she was to him. Heavily pregnant and with mounting debts, Jeannie turned to some loan sharks. Hiding this from Jack, she encouraged him to leave Ace and start working on his true passion; making people laugh. Quitting Ace Chemicals, Jack tried his hand at stand-up comedy but this endeavour failed miserably. One day, the loan sharks approach Jack with an offer. Desperate to support his wife and unborn child, he agrees to help two criminals break into the chemical plant where he was formerly employed. However, Jeannie soon finds out and manages to convince her husband at the last minute to back out of the plan. Unfortunately, just as Jack was meeting with the criminals, the police contact and inform him that Jeannie and their unborn child, whom he had believed to be a baby boy, have died in a household fire. Stricken with grief and shock, he attempts to back out of the plan, but the criminals strong-arm him into keeping his promise.
The Killing Joke
Forced to don a Red Hood when entering the plant to give the idea he was the ring leader, Jack was an emotional mess. As soon as they entered the plant, however, the criminals and Jack are immediately caught by security and a shoot-out ensues, in which the two criminals are killed. As Jack tries to escape, he is confronted by Batman, who was investigating the disturbance. His sheer fear caused him to fall off a catwalk and into a drainage vat of chemical waste that washed him out into the river. As he floated in the green waste, Jacks’ memories trickled like rain in his mind. His mothers murder, the abuse from his father, his father’s murder, his criminal life, the failure of his comedy, the death of Jeannie and the baby. In that moment, he felt like his entire life was just one big bad joke. He laughed at the horrors and the chemicals had an adverse effect on him. When he surfaces in the nearby reservoir, Jack removes the hood and sees his reflection: bleached chalk-white skin, ruby-red lips, and green hair. These events, coupled with his other misfortunes that day, drive him completely insane, resulting in the birth of the Joker.
Gotham Funland
The Joker began his reign of terror on Gotham by first eradicating any record of his existence and in the process creating the legend he is today. Next came the murders of several high ranked mob bosses in order to take control of their gangs. An attempt on the life of Sal Maroni was what finally brought the Batman to his door. Their feud ignited, Batman and the Joker have fought for years with both men coming out on the losing side. Paralyzing Barbara. Killing Jason and Commissioner Gordon’s wife Sarah Essen. Torturing Gordon. Creating Harley Quinn. The list goes on and on. Joker has been locked away in Arkham for the past two years and everyone believes he’s there to stay this time but Batman isn’t convinced. He remembers all too well the words the Joker said upon his first defeat;
“You and I are destined to do this forever HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”

"You thought I was just another bubble-headed blonde bimbo! Well, the joke's on you, 'cause I'm not even a real blonde!"
Name: Dr. Harleen Quinzel
Alias: Harley Quinn
Age: Mid-to-late twenties
Occupation: Community service
Skills & Abilities:
Skilled Combatant: Due to her previous career as a supervillain, Harleen is more than capable of holding her own in a fight. She's not at the same level as, say, Batman, but against most regular criminals she can easily come out on top.
Gymnastics: Harleen was a dedicated gymnast during her school days, to the point of being able to obtain a sports scholarship to university. Her skills haven't exactly waned since, which is handy for a former supervillain turned crimefighter.
Intelligence: Harleen is far more intelligent than her ditzy "dumb blonde" persona lets off, especially in the field of psychology. Many people have underestimated her in the past, only to find themselves outwitted by what they assumed to just be the Joker's crazy groupie.
Enhanced physical capabilities: Thanks to a serum administered to her by Poison Ivy, Harleen's physical strength is greater than her slight frame would imply. Not only that, but her agility reaches low levels of superhuman ability, which coupled with her gymnastic skills allow her to pull off death defying acts of acrobatics with the greatest of ease.
Toxin immunity: Again thanks to Poison Ivy's serum, Harleen possesses immunity to most known toxins and poisons.
Equipment: Old habits die hard, and thus Harley Quinn possesses several comedy-themed gadgets and weaponry, although due to her rehabilitation none of them are as deadly as the Joker's. In addition, she is often seen wielding an oversized wooden mallet.
Personality & History:
Mad Love
Harleen Quinzel grew up in a broken home. Her father was a con-artist who is still in jail for his crimes, his incarceration causing the rest of her family to grow more and more dysfunctional. In an attempt to try and understand and possibly help them, Harleen took an interest in psychology and soon after earning her degree she was given an internship at the (in)famous Arkham Asylum. And that is where she met... Him.
It wasn't like she hadn't heard of him before. He was Arkham's most famous patient, after all, a diabolical fiend whose very name instilled dread into the hearts of even the most hardened supercriminals. His true name unknown, his age unknown, his history unknown, he was the Clown Prince of Crime, the Harlequin of Hate, the Ace of Knaves... The Joker. Initially, Harleen was only drawn to him due to his infamy, and wished to discover the true root of his psychosis (and of course publish a treatise on it that would bring her great prestige and wealth). However, when she got the chance to analyze him, she slowly grew more and more obsessed, an obsession not helped by the Joker using his own brand of psychology against her, manipulating her emotions and feeding her lies and half-truths until Harleen eventually found herself falling in love with him. Soon, she had found herself secretly helping him escape the asylum on more than one occassion, and it was after he was returned to Arkham after one of these incidents that her slip into insanity was complete. For how could she possibly cope with seeing the one she loved like that, all beaten and bruised, severely injured in a battle with the Batman?
Harlequinade
And so Harleen quit her job at Arkham in a most spectacular fashion: by donning a jester costume and staging a breakout for her beloved "Mistah J". And so the Joker found himself a sidekick of sorts, someone who would always stick by him and help with his schemes and marry him and have two beautiful children named- well, that's how the newly dubbed "Harley Quinn" saw it at least. The Joker... Didn't exactly reciprocate her affections. To him, she was at best a pawn that was far more easily manipulated than his other henchmen, and at worst a source of perpetual annoyance that he could at least use as a meatshield. The Joker would often emotionally and physically abuse Harley, and even tried to kill her on more than one occassion. Even though she always returned to him in the end, whether because he threw her out or she felt he'd gone too far on certain occassions Harley often left the Joker to strike out on her own. Not long after the first time this happened, she ended up teaming up with Pamela Isley, more commonly known by her supervillain alias Poison Ivy, who would quickly become her best friend and other main partner in crime. Indeed, Ivy cared a great deal for Harley (possibly even having romantic intentions of her own), something that served to cause a deep resentment towards the Joker in her, and which led her to administer a serum into Harley that granted her immunity to most known toxins as well as low-level superhuman physical capabilities. Whenever she had had enough with the Joker, Harley was always able to confide in Ivy, and for a long time the green-thumbed villainess was the only person who wasn't a psychotic clown that she truly cared about, and even during the times one or both of them were sent back to Arkham they always tried to keep in touch.
Rev up your Harley!
Eventually, however, the Joker went too far. It's not exactly known what he did, but whatever it was it led Harley to proclaim that he was no longer the man she'd fallen in love with. Not long afterwards, she turned herself over to the authorities, wishing to distance herself from her "puddin'" and at least try to rehabilitate herself. She'd long since realized she was mentally ill, after all, and although she'd occassionally tried to seek professional help she always ended up going back to the Joker. In fact, it was because of this that she was sent to an all-female prison rather than Arkham, as it was felt that seperating her from the root of her illness would probably help her treatment. And so for a few years she underwent psychological treatment and rehabilitation, and without the negative influence of the Joker hanging over her she made a startling recovery. Released early due to good behaviour and being a model prisoner, Harleen suddenly began to wonder what exactly to do with her life now that she'd (hopefully) lost her former reason to be. It wasn't long until she came to a revelation: if she really wanted to distance herself from the Joker, surely the best way would be to instead latch on to his greatest adversary, the Batman! Instead of being a force of madcap chaos and destruction, she would now be a dark avenger of the night! And so, once more, Harleen found herself slipping into that old harlequin costume, grabbing her trusty wooden mallet and heading out into the streets of Gotham, this time intending to only terrorize criminals and fight against injustice.
Character Impressions:
Story Arc: Well, she needs to confront Mistah J at some point, right? Harley would be left with the most important choice in her life: continue upon the path to redemption, or throw everything away to be with her puddin' once more?
Extra: Harleen keeps up a correspondence with Poison Ivy whenever Ivy is in Arkham, although she never gets to visit her for the obvious reason of needing to stay away from the source of her mental illness.
"Did you see the way I handled those creeps? Pow! Bam! Batgirl, eat your heart out!"
