Just woke up, break between lectures, all good. I mostly write in silence, unless it is an instrumental song. To get inspiration, I listen to Periphery, Tesseract, Erra, Woe is Me, that sort of stuff. If I write character interaction, I play sad orchestral music for some reason. Time - Hans Zimmer and the likes are my all-time favorites

I play sad orchestral music only when I want to kill a character off Actually any sad song would do in that situation. last time I killed off a character I used Gortoz a ran also the probability of something sad or bad happening to Austin is around 80% likely......

I'm doing what I usually do, sit here and wait. Sadly I would play on STEAM but I want to play either SE or PAYDAY 2, the former can't be played because it overheats the comp and the latter I'm trying to get my friend to give me since he don't play it anymore xD If I had to choose a Military game I'd choose either ArmA II or DCS- no money and I suck at both.

ArmA 2 is pretty good, I've been playing it sporadically since its release. Hilariously buggy as it may be, I had some fun and epic moments in it

I've been pretty busy in the evenings, or else I would've posted more in the OOC! Sorry everyone, I am a bad GM X____X I'm also waiting for a couple of posters in the IC too, before I move on - my usual rule is 7 days between GM posts, and then I move on and it's up to people to catch up on their own if they can be bothered to do so. It's Friday, and thus payday for me (AT LAST!) which is welcome. Bills to pay, and food to buy. Once that's out of the way though, I get to chill for the evening with a beer in hand and do whatever the hell I like. I will probably finish off a drawing I started, and watch some anime or listen to some music while doing more drawing. I got a couple of free beers off of my workplace, as we all hit our targets for the month. As it was Friday, they let us all finish work 20 minutes early, and crack open a couple in the office. I like my new job.

I WANT THAT JOB! You're not a bad GM. A bad GM would abandon the thread before it's even started to take off! I would post but to me it wouldn't make sense for a pilot to greet his squad and the head honcho before getting checked out after their aircraft was badly damaged. So yeah.

Well done Es, for slipping in just before the 7-day limit ;) Good post too, I liked the added complication of the A-10 running on fumes. I'll get a GM post up this evening that will deal with uniting all of us into a squadron, and letting everyone meet face-to-face. It'll also have the brief for our next mission. We're going travelling, yay! If there's anyone else hanging on (Patriarch, for example, if you're still with us?!) then now's the time to get your character in, before we take off for the first proper missions' main body of storyline and events. I'll also post up profiles for the Stormcloud and some background info on Thunder Island during the week, just to keep fleshing out the game universe. I also find that more 'fluff' can make the RP more immersive for everyone too, which is always nice.

New post is up, plenty to react to, including meeting each other. I'll probably get the next one up by the weekend, as in my experience, character chat doesn't tend to lead to much posting. The briefing will come next, but I thought I'd give you all a chance to talk to one another and have a breather before we dive right into the mission itself.
