True, but I don't superman could have gotten them away from the city since it is very hard to contain someone who is basically your equal in strength. Also I think the destruction was necessary because it was an alien invasion and the entire world was threatened.

That's the other problem though, Kal had absorbed nearly thirty years of solar radiation whereas Zod had absorbed a couple day's worth. Supes still should have been much stronger, though given Zod has the martial training but that shouldn't matter when someone is flying you through the sky. I find it very hard to get excited for DC movies with their casting and story choices these days. Their TV serials are much better however, both Flash and Arrow are excellent and despite the luxuries it takes with the comic history, I love Gotham.

@The Patriarch - Next hour or so pal. I didn't mind the city wide destruction as much as what most people seemed to. I did pick up on it, thinking to myself "Supe's has usually tried to drag the fight outta the city area code by now", but I just thought it was because he was new to the job, so liable to make mistakes. . . Destroying half of Metropolis being one of them. I also thought it added to the scale and urgency of the fight, making it seem less like a punch up between two pissed dudes, and more like a battle for the fate of the world.

Poltergeist was already deemed a killer for axing his mom (even though there was no evidence of it). Killing the Queen is not going to phase him unfortunately.

That's what makes this different from your average hero team. You do what's necessary. RFG would kill the heroes without thinking twice. At least that would be Jaymi's argument lolol

Whats necessary doesn't always mean killing though. It's more like they're the team that makes the hard choices. In fact I never said anywhere that they HAD to be killers. A lot of you just went that route on your own! 'This game, set in an alternate future DC comics universe, will explore what it means to really be a hero. The sacrifices that must be made, the costs that demand payment, the lines that have to be crossed. Just like in the real world things aren't going to be black and white. Every action and choice will have a consequence, some good and some bad.'
