I never said that she knew he had the whole ground pound thingy. Pinning an immortal to an object is the best way to deal with them, and as stated, it is always better to have them off the ground so they can't get any leverage with their feet, and have to flail rather than having a sturdy base. There was no knowledge or exploitation of a weakness, simply logic. The fact that said logic happens to exploit the weakness is just a coincidence.

There is no such thing as coincidence in RPing. In this case her plan of action involves both prior experience with regenerators (it wouldn't be taught in a class becasue hunters don't typically fight people) and a total lack of intimidation for someone who recovers from injury. It shouldn't make a difference this time, however, since I'm sure Guess isn't going to let her foe die so easily.

That just made me think of the Bouncer to be Sundowner.

Hell the 'Red Sun' theme perfectly fits a fight between him and Mokuren... Does he use explosives as body armour as well? It's not like he'd care about the injuries it'd cause him so he wouldn't even need the shield arm things.

Nice theme. Something that you might listen to on arid south California roads where the winds blow from which Sundowner took his name. Perhaps if Antaeus had fully armed himself before pursuing Mokuren, but as it is he just rushed after her after reviving. Someone with such a useful semblance as he may very well have served as a soldier, most likely a militia given the current robotic nature of Vale's army, when he was younger. Given the hamminess with which he declared himself, I would hardly put it past him to have thought up a unique and awesome but impractical (at least for normal people) fighting style. Still, since he's just the first person encountered, we probably don't want to make too big a deal out of him right now.

I do enjoy coming up with backstories for people we encounter. You can see I've started doing it with the people in the Shelter.

I'm anxious to see the various entries for my contest. The downside of having such awesome ideas is that I can't participate myself.
