I feel like making a senior.
You guys down for that?
And I finished the Senior for the Senior Team with @Sho Minazuki and two yet to be determined lucky applicants.Name: Kiran Ali Khan
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Race: Markhor (Goat) Faunus
Weapon: The Blunderbuster Full Package - Kiran’s weapon of choice is a multifaceted and versatile weapon. It allows him to survive at mid to close range, obliterate at mid to close range, and devastate at mid to close range. Truly a weapon designed for any situation, at mid to close range.
Fundamentally the weapon consists of 3 different configurations. The first, and most common method of use, is a sword and gauntlet configuration. The sword, dubbed Sharaman, is a simple blade of dussack design. Essentially it is a long piece of silver metal with a slightly curved edge that wraps around at the bottom to form a hand guard of sorts. Part of the metal is covered in cloth to serve as a hilt.
The gauntlet on the other hand, named Mehri, is far more elegant in design. It is made up of many intricately detailed metal plates, almost scale like in appearance, the run up the length of his forearm stopping just short of his elbow. His fingers are covered in a claw like metal, allowing him to easily grip into rough surfaces. The metal is mostly silver in colour although the calligraphic inscriptions have a rust like colour to them.
The 2nd configuration involves Sharaman transforming into a flintlock blunderbuss. With a mostly rust like colour, and the metal appearing almost wood like in places, the blunderbuss appears akin to blunderbusses from the 18th century. However while it appears old the technology has been updated for modern day, allowing for Kiran to load it like a modern double barrelled shotgun. In terms of ammunition, it is loaded with many small dust infused lead balls, making it function best in close range. In addition Kiran is capable of modifying the dust rounds, most often employing the four basic colours of dust: fire, ice, wind and lightning. Mehri remains untransformed in this configuration.
The final configuration has both Mehri and Sharaman combine into a massive great sword known simply as the Blunderbuster Sword. All ideas of elegance and intricacy are thrown aside to produce a blade that is simply really, really big. Well over 2 meters in length, the sword towers over every other blade and student in the academy. Indeed, in all his years both at the academy and outside, Kiran has never seen a larger sword. It essentially amounts to one long dual edged blade with a two handed hilt attached. It is also capable of channeling dust rounds, allowing it to catch on fire for instance.
Specialty: Despite the size and heft of his massive sword, years of training and well tuned muscles have enabled Kiran to remain unperturbed by the size and bulk of his sword. A weapon that most people who have trouble lifting, yet alone wielding, fits deftly in Kiran’s hand as he blitzes across the battlefield with it. As one can imagine, his weaponry and semblance allow for high damage output to any number of enemies at mid to close range.
In his different configurations Kiran achieves a few different roles, with configuration one acrobatics are the name of the game, and he uses his superior speed and agility to vault over and engage multiple enemies in combat, or serve in a more defensive role using his gauntlet to deflect attacks. In his second configuration, Kiran uses his blunderbuss to provide a little bit more range to his normal tactics, and take out multiple enemies with a single shot. Of course this does require him to have his enemies neatly clumped for his convenience.
It’s his third configuration that speaks closest to his heart. While he may not be able to maintain the same level of acrobatics in this form as his others provide, Kiran does not hesitate to use his mighty blade to cut through the swaths of enemies that plague him and his team. He deals mighty blows to all that would stand in his way, or stands fast in the path of hordes of enemies. Indeed when his semblance is not active, his massive Aura reserves do grant him a fair degree of defense. Whether he’s remaining fast or steadfast, Kiran diligently plays out his role as the Berserker and Tank in combat.
Of course, he’s always stuck at mid to close range, and flying enemies are usually out his reach.
Usually.
Semblance: The Prince of Sand - Kiran’s semblance enables him to enter a berserker state that not only enhances his physical traits, strength, speed, endurance, durability, etc, but also dulls him to all feelings of pain. To accomplish this state, Kiran draws his aura within him, which, while increasing his natural defenses to be stronger than normal skin, does leave him more prone to potential injury as he no longer possesses the standard aura defense.
However the gains in speed, endurance and strength, nearly triple of his standard, more than make up for this deficit. As this form relies on his aura it can only last for so long. However it does start to rapidly increase in power just as he hits the red zone. Damage sustained while in this form also knocks his aura lower, and ones fully depleted he is forced out and left exhausted.
One last trick of this form is the ability to infuse himself with dust rounds right as he enters the form. This can allow him to catch on fire, or for each of his attacks to contain an undercurrent of lightning. He can only utilize one dust property at a time, and is unable to switch while in this form. Typically, off a full aura bar, Kiran is able to stay in this form for only about 20 minutes. It should be noted however that Kiran can push himself further, however any damage he takes from that point on comes with the risk of severe, permanent injury. The longer he stays in the form, the more strain placed on his body that will cause severe injury.
In terms of appearance, Kiran’s skin greatly darkens, becoming black as coal. However this is interspersed by glowing slivers of a rust colour. Forming intricate circles and swirls down the length of his body. If he infused his form with dust, then some of these lines are replaced with glowing dust of that colour.
Personality: Kiran has been raised to follow a certain set of virtues, a creed of sorts. It is by these virtues that he lives his life. The first is strength, not just physical strength, but the strength to remain steadfast in the face of oppression. The strength to firmly fight for what is right, and never back down to injustice. The strength to protect one’s comrades and the strength to protect all those in need. Without strength, Kiran can not be of any use.
The next is loyalty, to remain loyal to one’s friends, allies, comrades and virtue. Without loyalty, one is but a fickle leaf in the wind, blowing from one master to another. A lack of loyalty leaves one hollow inside. Yet it is not just an idea of remaining loyal to people, but rather the virtues that drew Kiran to those people in the first place, if need be he will fight till they remember what is right. His loyalty extends to ensure that his friends remain on a just path. This is closely tied with the third virtue of honour, and ensuring that he conducts himself in a manner befitting of a true warrior at all times.
The fourth virtue is humility. Kiran makes sure to always remember that he is but one piece of a much larger puzzle. That to grow in arrogance, is to forsake others and harm them in the process. As a result, he has a large degree of respect for all living things: Humans, Faunus, plants, animals and yes, even Grimm. However respect should not be confused with kindred connection or naivete, for Kiran is quite aware of the evil nature of Grimm. Instead his respect comes from an understanding that they are powerful beings worthy of caution. In a similar manner, Kiran holds the highest degree of respect for all those who have faced him in battle, regardless of whether they won or lost. In fact he makes a point to memorize the faces of all Humans and Faunus he has faced.
However despite these creeds, which are more of personal code then anything and not one to be enforced on others, Kiran is not as serious a person as one might suspect. He enjoys conversing with others and these creeds are merely for emphasis on internal self improvement. He snarks at dumb ideas, cracks a few bad jokes of his own, and is more than willing to dispense advice when asked. It is when in battle though, that he is at his most vivid. It’s not uncommon to hear him shouting and urging his opponent to fight harder, in fact there have been many times when he has outright given advice to his opponents in hopes of bettering them. The thrill of battle is most definitely something Kiran lives for. Still, talking to him will reveal a young man of reasonable intelligence, decent charisma, and strong understanding of what it means to fight smart. Unless completely consumed by battle, Kiran’s virtues keep him from being reckless.
Color: Rust (Hex Code #B7410E)
Emblem: A massive rust colored sword, blade down, fading into the sands.
Appearance: Kiran stands fairly tall, at 6’4’’ and every ounce of him is well toned muscle. However this is not necessarily something that is immediately apparent, as his muscle isn’t all that bulky. His skin is a light olive colour signifying the generations that lived in the hot deserts of Vacuo. He has dark brown hair that protrudes out of the long flowing turban he wears, underneath turban however are tiny goat horns, signifying his Faunus nature. Similarly he generates much of his speed and power from goat legs generally hidden under his long pants. In terms of his uniform he wears it prim and proper, however his actual combat gear is much more practical.
If Sapphire said something about Pops experimenting on people, that would have been inaccurate. The humanization procedure would have worked, the main conflict was that it would have been unethical/White Fang-angering/a bad idea to do so.

That's what Oswald was told. But, how could Pops be sure the procedure would have worked without an actual Faunus test subject?
Not trying to be snarky, I know as GM that, in-universe, you'd have had it work, but how could HE know it'd work?
Prior testing

I think that would then qualify as experimentation.
Name: Valin Nash
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Weapon: Slot, his completely ordinary revolver. A brand of revolver that could quite easily be constructed and sold right off the counter in any shop that could legally sell guns. Yep, just his not out of the ordinary gun that he carries around, nothing to really see here.
So, with that out of the way, we can get to the fun stuff! Now, there are two reasons why the gun is called slot. First, he calls his bullets coins, and pretends the 'coins' are going into the 'slot'. He likes to imagine things. Second, the orderly and simplistic design of his weapon makes it quite easy to add any attachments into his gun, thus, making it so that his gun has tons of slots for add-ons! He came up with that name all by himself. There are several variants of his weapon, all attachments are kept within his light weight pack with other things crammed inside.
The base of Valin's arsenal, carrying basic iron sights and nothing else.
If Stealth is the name, this is his main. Built to cut down on noise, reduce recoil, and no longer emit muzzle flash. No one will know what hit them if they are the target.
Sometimes, the best kill is from afar. The extended barrel allows the bullet to travel in controlled manner than before, which increases the accuracy of the gun.
Two items with the price of one! The stock combines both the reliable accuracy of the extended barrel and reduces recoil! Very handy when used in medium range, but less so in close combat.
Want to be more stealthy with a handgun? Say no more with these modification! The Silencer combined with the Stock allows for perfect accuracy and minimum recoil with the silent kill looming over the target.
Have you ever wished to be a sniper, but only have a cruddy revolver? Well... Look at these things! The combination of these add-ons make for the perfect sniper/revolver. Just one point, aim, and click from far away and the target is dead!
Want to go super commando black-ops? These are your modifications, just make sure that you have the time to put all these things on as the amount of add-ons are quite large. And if you run out of coins, use it as a club!
Whew, with so many combinations to choose from, how do you make the probability tree even larger? Why, use different coins of course! These coins will just make things more hectic also combined with dust! Just what is this boy thinking? Why does he have so many choices to choose from? Why do I keep talking when I should be explaining the types of coins and dusts? Find out, in the next hider.FMJ - Full Metal Jacket

Wow! That is a lot of stuff to handle! Amrite!? Well, nothing that Valin can't handle. He likes being random, or make people think he is random. Either way, with all that amount of variations for guns and bullets. Can't wait to see it in action.
Specialty: Fighting style? Well, like many teenagers and young adults inside of the fine establishment, he uses a gun! Revolvers are mainly preferred to be used in short to medium distances. However, with the right set of add-ons can really change the fighting style of the boy and the field around him. So, he prefers to be close to the action, but not too close to be stabbed or slashed at from close combat range. He isn't the best at agility and stamina, but he could hold on his own if necessary. Just not for too long.
Semblance: Luck - Just as the name says, his semblance gives him the ability to get lucky. Now, you might be thinking, can't he use that for any type of situation? From getting the right answer on a multiple choice test to getting a girlfriend? Nah, it takes a immense amount of focus and strain to activate his semblance. Valin can maybe use it three or four times for reloading, and any further would be very dangerous for his health. So, he only uses it in life threatening situations.
Personality: Valin loves the chaotic life style that he has chosen. Disorder flows through his veins and confusion is the type of aura that he usually gives off to others. He is the type of person that likes to cause trouble for others, be they friend or foe, all are the same to him. So, with that kind of attitude towards people, he doesn't really make friends very often, and many dislike him for his reckless and negative attitude. However, he ignores this all while giving the same crooked smile and chittering chuckles.
So, the enigma of Valin can't be broken, very surprising. Or maybe, people haven't tried hard enough to break through that hard shell of his. There could be something under the vast amount of layers of cynicism, irritation, and confusion. Who knows? He might actually just be crazy, you figure it out.
Color: Ultramarine
Emblem: Placed upon the back of his clothes is the image of a skull with a cross going through the left eye socket.
Appearance:
Averaging around the height of 5'11, a decent height among growing boys, Valin is usually 5'9 when slouching and most likely very bad posturing for his back. Furthermore, his physique reaches an average of not too skinny or pudgy, he is muscular under his clothes, but most students at Beacon have to be for fighting. However, his handsome body is completely messed up by his attire and grooming which makes him look undesirable. Valin's hair is completely messed up most of the time, it looks like he woke up straight from bed and didn't do anything with it at all. Clothes are usually wrinkled and randomly thrown on, barley resembling any type of fashion. The only things that remains consistent with his appearance is the eye patch covering his left eye, his light pack, and his ammo belt that hangs loosely from his hips.
<Snipped quote by Invisible Man>
Well, that came out of nowhere. It might be difficult finding you a spot. Actually, it seems to me like this Valin (that some sort of reference to a color?) might work on our antagonist team, Midnight Squad.
Well, Valin is sorta related to Ultramarine. It is a name of a ship from an organization called the Ultra Marines, and their primary color is Ultramarine... Heh. I'll change the name if you want, couldn't be too hard to find a name related to dark blue. Also, I'd be fine if Valin would be put anywhere in this RP, and antagonist would be pretty easy to work with.
