Hm...what are the odds that we'd be able to finish all missions by the end of the year? Would it be higher if I were to set a drop-dead date in early January? I love this RP, but sometimes it's just so slow-moving.

I think a lot of the issue is that this is finals season for most people, at least during this time of year. That along with Christmas for those who celebrate it.

Because of the holidays a lot of people are gonna be out of town and with family and such. I'd honestly be surprised if all the missions were finished before January.

I thought you were a new person at first because you changed your signature and avatar. But yeah, it seems to me that most of the missions have barely started. If you were to make a drop-dead date, I doubt anyone would be able to finish their missions.

Certainly seems that way. What do you think of the new signature? I made it myself, and if people thought the kind of style wasn't dog crap, I was considering taking requests to make ones for other peoples' favorite characters.

It could be possible if everyone decided to drop all their tasks right but we have priorities to attend. I suppose that if we focus on finishing the missions starting on the 4th week of December and everyone committed to it then it can be completed by early January.

I do agree with you that it is slow-moving and we should all try to get our post out faster. It surprises me we are only in the 2nd week when we could probably be RPing the Vytal Festival. It makes me think that we should do a timeskip just to catch up with the RWBY season. Personally I think the main factor in why we are so slow is that we procrastinate too much when we have free time.

I think it's pretty cool. If you were to make one for me I can easily imagine myself struggling to narrow down what characters I would want in it.

Personally I don't mind lagging behind the show at all. even if we skipped to catch up we'd just fall behind with the next episode. I'm having fun, tis all that really matters, no?

The Vytal Festival is in the third semester. That's at the very least four months from our current IC time likely more like six months. The point isn't to skip up to where the show is, in fact in the first post it even says that we want to take it slow and focus on training. Not try to write side characters filling in the background space of a running show or skip to action sequences. A time skip might not be a bad idea but six months is far too extreme.

So just out of curiosity, is anybody else working on a contest entry? I mean, I like winning as much as the next guy, don't get me wrong, but winning by default because I was the only one to participate isn't a very satisfying win... especially since, if I remember correctly, I don't even win any credits by doing so.
