OH SHIT THATS RIGHT! With his affiliation to the White Fang, that's four people who are White Fang deserters! We can totes make a team comprised of us deserters now. That's.... Gren, Grane, Geni, and Skyra. Hmm.

Grane's gone. Also Skye's was White Dang? What's the story there? And I feel I should mention that Geni's White Fang association is likely common knowledge at this point. Half the junior year found out about it in armoury class and you can assume the gossip mill would fill the other half in (and possibly the other years).

Emerald has never had contact with the white fang, her parents told her they were bad and to avoid them completely. She joined the cupcake squad instead.

@Lugubrious has yet to say anything about my possible return to the Rp. Just looking for his thoughts on things before I just start stuffing myself in here.
But if my boi is given a go ahead, ya everyone would know of his affiliation. His return is gonna be a controversial one I guess.

@Prince of Seraphs Grane is in the same boat as the rest of team STRG/RGTS in that they can't really do anything yet until the time skip happens. At the very least, I've kept in touch with them and they're just waiting for the opportunity, otherwise I would have had Gren bring Grane and Robert on this adventure too.

As for Skyra's affiliation, I believe she mentioned it in a monologue, but hasn't told anyone about it. It's where she got her scars and why her sis gets katnapped in her subplot.

@Prince of Seraphs

For some god forsaken reason it's harder to find then it out to be, but if you're blades aren't too broad perhaps something similar like this? Though it'd probs be tough trying to hide two scimitars in a straight staff, what with scimmies being CURVED. SWORDS. Personally I'd suggest something like this, were the weapon is detachable at the hilt so it can either be two swords or a single double-ended twinblade of sorts.

Come on man, you're the king of cool things that only kind of make sense. I'm looking for some of that here.

Well, running more off of RWBY weapon logic than real weapon logic.

Staff mode is activated by slamming the flat of the blades together and pulling the handles in opposite directions. As this happens a dust charge is activated and the blades kind of spiral as they extend.

The end result is a metal coil around a nasty elemental center, probably fire or lightning. Said element is channeled into whatever gets hit while your character wears special gloves to avoid being damaged himself.

Not a bad idea if I understand it properly but wouldn't the transformation be kind of permanent. Sounds like the metals getting melted to create the second form.

It would be a temporary fusion through the magic of RWBY's stupidly advanced weapons technology.

I mean, it could just be that the swords are made out of a bunch of small sections to allow for the bending required, the ones at the end have mutual clasps built in.

Or a very firm magnetic seal.

That's sort of what I was thinking. Sapphire's mother specialized in the intricate mechanisms used in transformation and collapsing technology so it seemed reasonable that I go with that approach. Was just curious if anyone had any different ideas. Might implement that dust core idea into the design. Thanks.

Yeah, I mean I could post but the next Sapphire post she's going to be leaving to test new weapon types in prep for creating new primary weapons for herself. So I was hoping for a Sangue reacts post before I did that.

He's been somewhat active in our team's Skype group. He hasn't said anything about wanting to quit and hasn't stopped replying when we ask anything of him, so I'd say he's still around. The problem is the same that the rest of us face and that is we're a day ahead of everyone and so have to wait for you all to catch up. Slow pokes.

Also @NarayanK, just to be clear, when I mentioned the similarities between Apophis and Stein, I was merely pointing out something I found funny. I was in no way saying you intentionally made your character share a similar appearance or anything. Sorry if what I said made you feel bad or anything, that was very far from my intention.

In "Best Day Ever", Emerald Sustrai reveals that the White Fang is disappointed in Tukson's abandoning of the organization, suggesting that leaving the organization is punishable by death.

In this AU RWBY, all those with former White Fang affiliation should have a certain level of protection just being within Beacon. They have no reason to try and kill them in a school filled with Hunters to be.

@PyroDash888@Nytem4re@Lucius Cypher@LokiLeo789

Gren is quite aware of this, but relies a bit on being in Beacon and mostly on The God Eater to deal with the White Fang. That and as far as Gren knows, the White Fang don't have the weapons and manpower to try something like an assault on Beacon, or sending assassins for hunting down deserters. Of course Gren is also completely unaware of Cinder's existence, and would be as surprised as Blake to see the Fang cooperate with humans.

It may come up at some point as a side plot, like what Skyra wants to do. Gren still has a few siblings running off to the Fang, so Gren hasn't totally escaped them, but as it is the White Fangs severance policy is just another reason for Grant, Grant, Geni, and Skyra to keep quite about their former affiliations, less a spy or something catches wind and takes them out. Or for someone to sell them out.
