Communication is key. I believe even if you didn't read every post you can always ask. "Hey, so I'm about to send Bianca your way, anything in particular I should be aware of?"

Just simple stuff like that makes it a whole lot easier. But yeah obviously we shouldn't have people ending up isolated from the rest of the group, I do agree with that.

I think it's completely managable.

as to @Crimmy's point about credits. One method we can use is this: I want an upgrade. So I post my proposed upgrade on the OOC in a manner of "This is the update, speak on it now or forever hold your peace." If someone does have an issue we discuss it like adults and if it must we can always hold a vote on a matter. I think we're all capable of being mature about that kind of thing. Especially with the stark lack of pvp and how insanely powerful some characters are, it isn't too much of an issue either way.

Regardless my point is, with communication I believe it is fully possible.

For what it's worth, I do echo the sentiments of @Crimson Raven and @Crimmy regarding credit upgrades and established canon, NPC characters we'll at some point be interacting with. For the former, I feel like some arbitration does need to be made, even if it's just finding a baseline for "how much is X shit worth", since we can't always come to terms on power scaling as a community (Re: Gren)

And, you know, the canon characters just being in anyone interacting with them's hands will be chaotic as hell, and while Ozpin's schizoid ass may be able to pull it off, other characters such as Glynda or Big Papa Ironwood need the stability of characterization and motive to really stay in one piece.

I will thank those responsible for opening my eyes to the team thing. Never thought to use a 5-why on the problem, which is kinda derp since I use it daily at work, ugh. Not that I would miss them, but I can see why others would.

Regarding the credit system - I'm fine with the proposed changes for acquiring, but I would put forward a change at usage options as well. Right now it sort of hinders your ability to change your own character - Heck, even a creative way to use one's semblance requires credits, that's part of the reason why I had Diamond's be so unspecific. It's kind of pay to win, when you consider the differing amount of time and experience the players have. How about we change the credits to be more of a reward thing than necessity?

What I think the credits represent here is the individual player's ability to do things - high quality work, having the ability to dedicate time to it, ... - Let's give these players the option to run subplots (Ability to drive an engaging story others might ride on), create additional characters (Can dedicate time to more than one), things like that. But I don't think that having to depend on the subjective opinion of a contest judge, competing with people who may have more experience with the setting or just writing in general, or plain having the time to actually enter a contest on top of IC just to add 10 feet of chain to your weapon is the way to use this system.

That said, I also propose to give a fat credit bonus to someone actually running the mission for others, not just completing it - retroactively. Those people earned it.

Pretty sure we did give people who ran missions some credits, because I remember at one point needing just a few more credits to buy the sub-plot I wanted to buy, and still haven't actually purchased yet, and Lugu or someone else pointed out that I should have enough thanks to running Team Jumpercable's mission.

There was an RP I was apart of which unfortunately moved to another site during that time when the guild was going down every hour or so.

In this RP relevant NPCs were cataloged and each class rating. Red Classed NPCs were controlled solely by one person because while they weren't there all the time they were important enough to have to be consistent when they were present. Yellow Classed NPCs were primarily controlled by one person but for minor interactions or in situations were necessary they could be controlled by others. Green Classed NPCs could be controlled by anyone that needed them.

Given we don't have as many NPCs as that RP did we probably don't need go overboard with keeping track of the NPCs but a system similar to this wouldn't be a bad idea to keep the important NPCs functioning properly.

"Lauren's Dream"

Something was different with Sangue. Lauren, the master of being different from others, knew that well.

Sangue walked with some kind of stride that rubbed off Lauren the wrong way. Every step she took, she puffed her chest in and out, as if she had a problem with walking normally. Sangue glanced at her surroundings occasionally, with an oddly dissatisfied look on her face as she sometimes squinted at the buildings she once called “nice” and “comfy.”

What bothered Lauren the most was how Sangue ditched her bandage undergarments, instead settling for lingerie that did not fit her at all. She also walked with her clothes loosely worn, revealing her chest and thighs in an almost humorous way.

After watching Sangue continue to roam the city in such a ridiculous manner, Lauren eventually told her to stop. But Sangue turned to her, raising an eyebrow, as she lifted her chin up.

She puffed her cheeks.

And shook her head.

Defiantly.

At that moment, Lauren noticed Amy approaching them from far away, with modest clothing covering her whole body for the first time since Cthulu decided to stop being a creepy asshole for once. Ben, on the other hand, ran alongside Amy, his arm linked with the Faunus'.

Lauren’s train of thought blew up at that moment and the whole world blew up along with her.

Bolting up from her bed, Lauren breathed heavily, her eyes wide open as she blinked rapidly.

It took her a while to catch her breath, but the Negasi eventually recomposed herself. She glanced around the familiar BASL dorm before looking below her bed.

Sangue was nowhere to be found, even though Amy was clearly sleeping in the most erotic position possible. Ben looked like a world war would not be able to stop him from achieving the purest essence of a good night’s sleep.

Looking around, Lauren’s wide eyes traced the unlit dorm. As her hand moved behind her, she felt something warm behind her.

The Negasi turned around, only to find Sangue sleeping next to her. The redhead remained curled up outside of Lauren’s sheets, as if she wanted to not disturb Lauren’s sleep.

Staring at the red snake curled up next to her, Lauren felt her wide eyes relax as she scratched the back of her head, the familiar exhaustion of excessive alcohol intake getting back at her. If anything, she was surprised a dream managed to wake her up from what would inevitably be a hangover.

Without a single care in the world, Lauren draped the blanket over her teammate as she went back to sleep.

She knew sleep was good when Amy didn’t show up with a parka and completely unaltered jeans in her bizarre dreams.
